Orland crash sends one to hospital

Orland – A collision involving an SUV and a pickup occurred at Sixth Street (Highway 99) and Date Street late Sunday afternoon resulted in one man being transported to the hospital.

Few details are currently known.

The accident was reported at about 5 p.m.

At first, the crash was said to have happened at Sixth and Monterey Streets. A short time later, this location was corrected to Sixth and Date Streets.

Ambulance response was originally “Code 2” (no lights or sirens).

This was changed to “Code 3” (lights and sirens) after one of the accident victims reported having chest pain.
