Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.
Thursday, May 27:
8:31 a.m., an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on Tehama Street on a white 2021 Hyundai Sonata for a moving violation. The driver Milissa Reckley, 30, of Orland, was issued a citation for an alleged stop sign violation and no proof of insurance.
10:30 a.m., the Orland Police Department received a Child Protective Services referral of possible sexual abuse of a child. An investigation was initiated.
12:22 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the area of 925 East Street for a request for a welfare check on a man lying on the lawn in front of the residence. Officers contacted Soukkhy Thitphaneth, 43, of Orland, who was subsequently arrested for alleged public intoxication. Thitphaneth was booked into the Glenn County Jail.
8:09 p.m., Orland police officers contacted Nicole Smith, 67, of the Orlanda Inn Motel, 827 Newville Road, who reported she was yelled at by Maria Gomez, 34, of Orland. Nicole was told of her civil options.
