Meet the mighty Pebbles, an 11-year-old great Dane, shown here being held in the arms of one of the Town and Country Humane Society shelter workers. Pebbles is – wait a minute. Great Dane? That can’t be right. Pebbles is much too small to be a great Dane. She’s even tiny compared to most Chihuahuas, which is what I am now sure she is. A very small, quiet and timid Chihuahua. The Town and Country Humane Society shelter is located on Highway 99 between County Roads 21 and 23, south of Orland.
