Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.

Thursday, June 17:

9:16 a.m., Brandon Gibbs, 34, reported observing someone in his backyard at 722 East Street and requested law enforcement do an area check. Officers searched the backyard but no one was found.

12:23 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a fire in the 1000 block of Sixth Street. Officers checked the area for a person reported near the fire but were unable to locate anyone matching the description.

2:41 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of an employee who used a company debit card to get cash. After an investigation, it was found to be a civil matter and the reporting party was provided with information.

2:50 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of juveniles vaping in the area of the Orland Pool, 120 Roosevelt Avenue. Officers contacted a group of juveniles but did not find any vape pens. The juveniles were counseled and left the area.

4:58 p.m., the Orland Police Department received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Fifth Street at Monterey Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

5:20 p.m., at 22 East Swift Street, an Orland police officer marked a utility trailer for abatement.

6:10 p.m., Margaret Beegle, 29, of Orland, alleged James Beegle, 32, violated his restraining order. Officers were unable to locate James Beegle at his most recent addresses.

7:40 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person in the area of East Walker Street at Woodward Avenue. Officers contacted Kita Cutler, who said her red ball had gone over the fence onto 616 Woodward Avenue. Officers contacted the residents, retrieved the ball and returned it to Cutler.

8:11 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute at 73 East Walker Street. Officers contacted Patricia Hidalgo, 34, and Valentin Gonzalez, 46, both of Orland. Following an investigation, Gonzalez was arrested and booked for alleged domestic battery.

10:29 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to check the area around the Orlanda Inn Motel, 827 Newville Road, for a suspicious vehicle. Officers checked the area, but the vehicle had left.

Friday, June 18:

12:30 a.m., at 391 Stanton Way, an Orland police officer issued a parking citation to a 2008 Honda Civic for being parked on the sidewalk and in a fire hydrant zone.

12:45 a.m., in the 100 block of East Swift Street, an Orland police officer marked a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country van for abatement.

1 a.m., in the 200 block of East Tehama Street, an Orland police officer marked a 2000 Toyota Camry for abatement.

11:01 a.m., the owner of Stor Rite Mini Storage, 218 East Walker Street, who was not at the property at the time, received a security video that showed two people walking to a storage unit in a back of the business. No vehicle associated with either of these people was seen, which is unusual. A moment later, one of the two people, a man, was seen leaving the property with what appeared to be a carpet draped over his shoulder. He was last seen walking to an unknown location, west on East Walker Street.

Fearing a unit was broken into, the owner of the property first called law enforcement, then the longtime renter of the house on the property. Orland Police Officer Daryl Mills was the first law enforcement officer on the scene. He drove back to the area in question. When he returned, he said the woman in the back was cleaning up her storage unit. Just before Officer Mills left, Orland Police Sgt. Kyle Cessna and Glenn County Sheriff’s Deputy Stephen Sheldon arrived and walked back to the storage unit. The confirmed the woman, identified as Misty Lawrence, 50, of Orland, was cleaning up her unit. Shortly after the law enforcement officers were gone, the property owner arrived and drove back to talk to Lawrence. The owner left a little later.

11:58 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a non-injury traffic collision at the Grocery Outlet, 1026 South Street. Both parties exchanged information prior to the officers’ arrival and did not require assistance.

12:33 p.m., Cynthia Brown, 41, of Orland, reported Christopher Borden, 59, called her in violation of a restraining order.

12:40 a.m., at the Orland Police Department, an Orland police officer signed off a correctable citation at the department.

12:42 p.m., at 238 East Yolo Street, Orland police officers were dispatched to check the welfare of Amanda Gomes, 32. Officers contacted the reporting party, who was provided with information on evictions and restraining orders.

3:31 p.m., Orland police officers responded to assist Child Welfare Services at 604 East Walker Street with a woman who wished to relinquish her temporary guardianship of two children. Officers assisted CWS in taking custody of the children.

4:55 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Black Butte Mobile Home Park, 6386 County Road 200, for a report of a fire and explosion. Following an investigation, Julian Martinez, 32, of Orland, was arrested and booked for alleged arson of an inhabited structure.

6:50 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 506 Sixth Street for a report of a hit and run. Officers contacted Sunni Stogsdill, 29, of Sacramento, who reported that she and her child’s father, Daniel Bernardo, 31, were involved in an argument that escalated into Bernardo intentionally striking her vehicle with his vehicle. Officers were unable to locate or contact Bernardo.

10:09 p.m., Orland police officers assisted Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a report of an unknown type of altercation at 4222 County Road K, Orland. Officers remained on scene until no longer needed.

Saturday, June 19:

4:39 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a deceased woman. Officers contacted Julie Vue, who reported that her 93-year-old grandmother had died two hours prior. The scene was turned over to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.

11:02 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to check the welfare of a woman who appeared dehydrated. Officers checked the area of Shasta and Third Streets but were unable to locate anybody matching the description.

11:52 a.m., Orland police officers responded County Road DD at County Road 8 to assist Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a reported burglary in progress. Officers arrived and assisted until no longer needed.

2:38 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched Gable Drive to assist the Red Bluff Police Department with locating a stolen travel trailer. Officers were unable to locate it and notified the Red Bluff Police Department.

4:50 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the area of County Road 200 near County Road E to assist Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a report of a burglary. Officers located and stopped the suspect vehicle. The vehicle and occupants were turned over to Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies for further investigation.

7:51 p.m., Robert Lopez, 47, alleged to the Orland Police Department being assaulted by his brother, Jesse Lopez, 43. Robert did not wish to make a criminal complaint. The incident was documented.

8:58 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a verbal disturbance at 431 East Street. Officers contacted Sarina Tackett, 23, who said her neighbor, Christina Vonbargen, 48, was yelling at her over the fence. Officers spoke with Vonbargen and told her of the complaint. She agreed to stay indoors for the remainder of the night.

10:48 p.m., Orland police officers responded a report of a shot heard in the 100 block of Fourth Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to find any evidence of a shooting. Officers did contact a person in the area who said that he heard what he believed to be a firework in the area.

Sunday, June 20:

1:51 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident on Eva Drive at Winterpine Drive. Officers contacted Natalie Martinez, 19, of Orland, who alleged that her boyfriend, Eric Mercado, 21, assaulted her and held her against her will. Following an investigation, Mercado was arrested and booked for alleged domestic violence and false imprisonment.

7:10 a.m., Orland police officers responded to an alarm activation at the Dollar General, 851 Newville Road. Officers found the business secure and determined the alarm to be false.

9:45 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the Orland Police Department for a request for a civil stand-by. Officers contacted Alfredo Guzman, 33, of Orland, and stood by while he conducted a child custody exchange.

11:55 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the Orland Police Department for a request for a civil stand-by. Officers contacted Alfredo Guzman, 33, of Orland, and stood by while he conducted a child custody exchange.

10:19 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the parking lot of the Speedway gas station on South Street. Officers contacted Mark Scarbrough, 66, of Orland, who said he was confronted by Randell Roberts, 51, of Washington, regarding a parking spot. Officers counseled Roberts. Both parties agreed to separate.

11:47 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a possible suicidal person at a residence on Yolo Street. Officers contacted Tamara Whatley, 46, who said her 43-year-old husband had left the residence on foot and she believed he was suicidal. Officers located the husband, who said he was not suicidal and did not request any further assistance.

Monday, June 21:

3:51 a.m., on Ninth Street at Frances Lane, Orland police officers contacted Hermelindo Gonzalez, 32, of Hamilton City, who was walking in the roadway. Following an investigation, Gonzalez was arrested and booked for alleged possession of methamphetamine.

9:16 a.m., Orland police officers responded to an address on East Yolo Street for a report of a suicidal person. Officers contacted a 32-year-old woman who declined any assistance and was deemed to not be a danger to herself or others.

12 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a child custody dispute. Officers contacted Sharon Tewsley, 57, in the Orland Police Department lobby. Tewsley was provided with information.

12:56 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Orland Pool and Vinsonhaler Park areas for a report of a naked man chasing a juvenile. Officers contacted Orland Public Works employee Matthew Soeth, who reported the incident, and a 14-year-old girl, who reported that an unknown man had exposed himself to her. Soeth last saw the man flee on foot into an alleyway several blocks away. Officers searched the area and began an investigation.

2:55 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched for a welfare check at a residence on Yolo Street. Officers responded and determined the man does not reside at the given address.

3:01 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of physical altercation with a possible knife involved at an address on Walker Street. Officers contacted 17-year-old and 14-year-old brothers, along with Jason Herr, 39. It was determined to be a family dispute with no weapon involvement. All parties were counseled and none requested prosecution.

6:22 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a shoplift that had just occurred at Sav-Mor Foods. Officers detained Nicholas Morgan, 27, of Nevada. Morgan was admonished for trespassing at the request of Sav-Mor management and released.

9:30 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the area of Walgreens, 828 Newville Road, for a report of a suspicious woman with a knife. Officers contacted Karen Borm, 62, of Willows, who said she was trying to cut her car antenna off her vehicle. Borm was told of the complaint and agreed to leave.

Tuesday, June 22:

5:22 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a traffic collision on East South Street at Hambright Avenue. Officers contacted Arminda Mendoza, 45, who was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima when she collided with a 2001 Toyota Tacoma driven by Francisco Rincon, 52. Officers assisted both parties exchange information.

Friday, June 18:

12:38 a.m., David Zuniga, 29, a shipping and packing worker who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury (a felony), infliction of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant (a felony), and damaging a wireless communication device (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $45,000. He was taken into custody at 882 North Butte Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy. A little later, at 2:15 a.m., the California Highway Patrol charged Zuniga with alleged driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, and hit and run (all misdemeanors). Bail for these charges was set at $10,000. The location of this arrest was also 882 North Butte Street, Willows.

9:20 a.m., Alex Parra Miranda, 27, a construction worker who lives in Orland, was committed to the Glenn County Jail without bail on charges alleging violation of post-release community supervision (a felony). He was taken into custody at the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office in Willows by a Glenn County probation officer.

4:50 p.m., Jonathan Scott Hanson, 29, a mechanic who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging possession of controlled substances without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia (both misdemeanors). Bail was set at $9,000. He was taken into custody at 6155 Highway 162, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

5:28 p.m., James Clifford Steward, 51, a tribal outreach worker who lives in Colusa, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging maliciously setting fire to a property (a felony). Bail was set at $45,000. He was taken into custody at 800 West Sycamore Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

5:48 p.m., Julian Arturo Martinez, 32, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging arson of an inhabited building (a felony). Bail was set at $200,000. He was taken into custody at 6368 County Road 200 by an Orland police officer.

9:57 p.m., Erick Omar Parra-Garcia, 44, a construction worker who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging child abuse or endangerment (a felony), using or being under the influence of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor), possession of drug paraphernalia (a misdemeanor), and possession of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $50,000. He was taken into custody at Highway 99 and County Road 43 by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Saturday, June 19:

5:32 p.m., Julia Christina Langworthy, 33, a laborer who lives in Corning, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging possession of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor), and warrants alleging disobeying a lawful order of the court (a felony), and disobeying a court order (a misdemeanor). Bail for the fresh charge was set at zero, but total bail for the warrants was set at $42,000. She was taken into custody on County Road 200, east of County Road E, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

10:37 p.m., Pedro Quin Cuin, 23, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony violation of probation. Bail was set at $162,000. He was taken into custody at 600 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

11:56 p.m., Jose Carlos Pulido, 34, a laborer who lives in Elk Creek, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $5,000. He was taken into custody at 3641 County Road 306, Elk Creek, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Sunday, June 20

2:22 a.m., Eric Mercado-Parra, 21, a plant operator who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging infliction of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, and false imprisonment (both felonies). Bail was set at $35,000. He was taken into custody at 904 Winterpine Drive by an Orland police officer.

4:18 p.m., Marciel Espinoza Barajas, 33, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol, and driving with a license suspended for driving while under the influence (all misdemeanors). Bail was set at $15,000. He was taken into custody on County Road 9, east of County Road P, by c******.

6:20 p.m., Juan Carlos Ocana, 30, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol, and driving without a license (all misdemeanors). Bail was set at $10,000. He was taken into custody on Highway 162 at County Road R by c******.

8:58 a.m., Nathan John, 33, a laborer who lives in Redwood Valley, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging assault, and battery (both misdemeanors). Bail was set at zero. He was taken into custody at 210 West Wood Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

9:07 a.m., Daniel Montalvo Gomez, 35, a construction worker who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony violation of probation. Bail was set at $20,000. He was taken into custody at the Glenn County Probation Department, Willows, by a probation officer.

4:23 p.m., Kaelene Elizabeth Scritchfield, 29, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony violation of probation. Bail was set at $35,000. She was taken into custody in the parking lot of the Willows Subway by a Glenn County probation officer.

4:41 p.m., in the Glenn County Jail, Alex Xiloj, 27, a laborer who lives in Seattle, Wash., was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant out of Los Angeles County alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol with priors (a felony). Bail was set at $50,000.

9:54 p.m., Joseph Allen Lee Peters, 32, a laborer who lives in Elk Creek, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging disobeying a court order (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $9,000. He was taken into custody at Walmart, 470 North Airport Road, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Thursday, June 17:

11:06 a.m., Nathan John, 35, a laborer who lives in Redwood Valley, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm) with great bodily injury likely (a felony), assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury (a felony), misdemeanor battery, misdemeanor assault, and felony burglary. Bail was set at $95,000. He was taken into custody at 468 Lassen Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

1:52 p.m., at the Glenn County Jail, Mercedes Liz Cortez-Nava, 31, a laborer who lives in Corning, was found to have a a warrant alleging failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. Bail was set at $8,000.

2:20 p.m., at the Glenn County Jail, Kaelene Elizabeth Scritchfield, 29, a laborer who lives in Willows, was found to have a warrant alleging disobeying a lawful order of the court (a felony). Bail was set at $30,000.

8:43 p.m., Valentin Morales Gonzalez, 47, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging battery on a spouse, ex-spouse, date, etc. (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $5,000. He was taken into custody at 73 East Walker Street, apt. #14, by an Orland police officer.

9 p.m., Jose Carlos Gomez-Rosas, 45, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging false imprisonment (a felony), and battery on a non-cohabitating former spouse (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $15,000. He was taken into custody at 232 North Culver Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Here are the latest incident reports from the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.

Tuesday, June 15:

1:15 a.m., Deputy Ayres located Carmen Garcia’s silver 2000 Honda Accord parked on the street in front of 649 North Butte Street, Willows. The vehicle was determined to have expired registration and was parked within the painted red zone for a nearby fire hydrant. The vehicle was found unoccupied. The vehicle was going to be towed for being parked 15 feet within the fire hydrant. During an inventory of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was found inside along with a stolen backpack. These items were confiscated. Garcia locked her vehicle as the tow truck was backing up to tow it. Garcia was warned of resisting or delaying the officers in their duties. Garcia was uncooperative in unlocking the vehicle and returned to 650 North Butte Street. The vehicle was towed from the scene by L&T Towing.

2:53 a.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to the expected death of Alice Anne McColloch, 73. The decedent was on comfort care and died at Glenn Medical Center from pre-existing medical conditions. The decedent entered comfort care on June 3. The decedent’s next of kin, Tom McColloch (brother) was found to live in Ohio. McColloch was notified in person of the death by deputies in his area at the request of Deputy Thompson. The decedent was later released to F.D. Sweets and Son Mortuary of Willows.

10:49 a.m., Steven Jones called and reported an unknown man walking and sitting in the alley of the 200 block of North Crawford Avenue, Willows. Jones said the man was acting suspicious. Deputies were dispatched and responded to the area. Deputies conducted an area check but were unable to locate the man.

11:53 a.m., Keisha McCall of Orland contacted Glenn County Communications and said she was with a 13-year-old girl, who claimed to have been assaulted two days prior. Deputies responded and contacted McCall and the girl and conducted a welfare check. The girl stated she and a 12-year-old boy were at a park “play fighting” two to three days prior. The boy began to take the fight serious and the girl sustained a small bruise to her right knee. The girl declined to provide the other involved party’s name and did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

12:22 p.m., a confidential victim contacted Glenn County Communications and requested to speak with a deputy regarding a cold sexual assault. Deputy Garcia dispatched and contacted the victim, via telephone, as requested. The victim reported an extended family member sexually assaulted him at a wedding on June 12, in Glenn. The victim declined to pursue the matter criminally and requested the other involved party be counselled on his actions.

1:52 p.m., a Butte County CPS worker requested to speak with a deputy regarding a cold sexual assault involving two juveniles at Grindstone Rancheria. Deputy Garcia was dispatched, contacted the CPS worker, and initiated an ongoing investigation.

1:57 p.m., Tammy Allen called and reported a suspicious male who entered the Willows Glass store, 111 West Wood Street. Allen said the man was asking for a taxi and was acting strange. Deputies were dispatched and checked the area for the man. Deputies located the man exiting Circle K and contacted him. Deputies spoke with the man, Andrew Lemmon of Santa Rosa, who was told of the complaint and admonished for trespassing. Lemmon agreed not to return to the Willows Glass store.

2:12 p.m., Madelyn Plum-Kegley of Orland contacted Glenn County Communications and alleged her brother, Justin Kegley, threatened her around 1 p.m. Deputies contacted Madelyn Plum-Kegley and conducted an investigation. It was reported Justin Kegley aggressively approached Madelyn Plum-Kegley, used vulgar language, and threatened to assault her. She stated she was in a sustained state of fear and believed Justin Kegley would execute the threats. She requested criminal prosecution and signed a private person’s arrest form against Justin Kegley for alleged criminal threats. Justin Kegley was later contacted and signed a written promise to appear.

3:24 p.m., an anonymous woman called and requested a welfare check on a man and woman sitting in a parked vehicle at West Sycamore and North Merrill Avenue, Willows. The reporting party said the man was in the driver’s seat and slumped over. Deputies responded and contacted the 17-year-old driver and the woman, Jasmine Walmann of Chico. Deputy Lemmon contacted the boy and could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Deputy Lemmon initiated an investigation. The boy was ultimately taken into custody for public intoxication. The boy was cited and released to the care of Glenn County Child Protective Services.

4:14 p.m., Stacy Sharp contacted Glenn County Communications and requested a welfare check on her son, Robert Baker, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Baker, at 6231 County Road 17, Orland. Sharp said Robert and Barbara Baker were involved an argument earlier in the day and she was unable to reach them since. Deputies responded and contacted Barbara Baker at the residence, who confirmed the argument was verbal only and said Robert Baker left around 12 p.m. Deputies checked the interior of the residence and did not note anything suspicious or locate Robert Baker.

5:56 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a shirtless white male adult with a beard was walking around the Willows High School track, waving around a large stick. The caller said the man was not acting in a threatening manner, but requested a check of the area. Deputy Ramirez responded and contacted James Moore on the corner of Wood Street at Plumas Street. Moore said he was just exercising. Moore was not found to be under the influence of any substance and was ultimately counseled.

6:27 p.m., a 14-year-old Willows girl reported being harassed by other girls and requested to speak to a deputy. Deputy Ramirez contacted the 14-year-old and was told she had nude photographs leaked onto social media by a 13-year-old girl. Deputy Ramirez initiated an investigation and discovered both the 14-year-old and the 13-year-old had posted nude photographs of one another after falling out.

8:23 p.m., Daniel Macias of Willows reported a theft of prescription medications that were taken from the Walmart pharmacy in Willows. Deputy Ramirez contacted Macias, who said he was notified by a pharmacist his heartburn medication prescription had been picked up on June 11 at 5:52 p.m. Macias said he did not know who had picked up the prescription from the pharmacy. Macias said he did not suffer a monetary loss from the theft of the prescription medication, but he requested a report number for insurance purposes.

8:24 p.m., Crystal Clark of Willows reported a theft of a registration tab from the license plate of her 2004 Honda Pilot. Deputy Ramirez responded and contacted Clark, who said the green registration tab was stolen from her Honda while it was parked at Walmart sometime between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Deputy Ramirez discovered the cost to replace the tab was $15. Clark was unable to provide any possible suspects. The tab was entered into CLETS as stolen.

8:35 p.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to contact Justin Kegley of Orland regarding an incident that occurred earlier in the day. The deputy contacted Kegley and determined the incident had previously been reported to another deputy. Kegley was advised to contact the deputy who took the report for further information.

Wednesday, June 16:

1:22 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a woman was screaming in the alleyway near 329 West Laurel Street in Willows. Deputies responded and searched the area and located Wendy Baroni in the area. Baroni was upset because she was unable to find her bicycle she had left in the alleyway. Baroni said the bicycle had been a gift. Baroni said the bicycle was a cruiser-style Hyper brand bicycle with a basket on the handlebars. Baroni said she was just upset and did not require any further assistance. Deputies provided Baroni with information to retrieve one of her other bicycles from evidence.

8:32 a.m., Tennelle Curiel of Willows contacted Glenn County Communications and reported a suspicious man attempting to get into vehicles along the 200 block of West Cedar Street in Willows. Deputies responded to the area and conducted an extensive area check. Deputies located Nathan John of Elk Creek and Lucky Wyatt of Willows behind 210 West Wood Street. John denied involvement and was ultimately counseled on his behavior.

8:43 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Umpqua Bank in Willows for a report of an assault and battery that just occurred. Deputy Cordova responded to the location and other responding deputies checked the area for the suspect. It was determined Nathan John arrived at the business and followed an employee towards the eastern employee entrance. The manager of the branch, Teresa Biggs (victim), opened the door slightly to speak with John. John allegedly became aggressive and attempted to punch Biggs, with a closed right fist, on her throat. John missed and hit Biggs on the left side of her neck. Biggs ultimately decided to pursue the matter criminally and signed a private person’s arrest form against John. John was located and arrested by separate deputies and later transported and booked into the Glenn County Jail.

10 a.m., a victim arrived at the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report potential vandalism to her vehicle. Deputy Cordova met with the victim at 120 South Marshall Avenue in Willows, who reported that between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. an unknown person applied an adhesive bug trap to the rear window of her vehicle. Deputies stood-by with the victim as she removed the bug trap and stated she would re-contact the sheriff’s office if the bug trap created any damage or monetary loss.

11:49 a.m., Glen Parnell of Orland contacted Glenn County Communications to report a cold burglary to a shed located at 4584 County Road DD, Orland. Deputy Garcia was dispatched and contacted Parnell at the property. Parnell reported an unknown person forced entry into the shed on June 13 and stole several horse saddles. Parnell reported his pickup truck was also stolen during the incident. The stolen pickup truck was reported to the CHP on June 15 and the horse saddles were estimated to cost $1,300 dollars.

11:55 a.m., a 16-year-old boy contacted Glenn County Communications and reported his wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 241 West Cedar Street in Willows. Deputies responded and initiated an on-scene investigation. The boy later re-contacted the sheriff’s office to report he found his wallet.

12:08 p.m., a Mendocino National Forest worker came to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to turn in a found cell phone. The cell phone was found near Plaskett Meadows in the Mendocino National Forest. Deputy Lemmon was dispatched and took possession of the smart phone. The smart phone was ultimately booked into the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office evidence room for safe keeping. The owner of the phone cannot be identified at this time.

1:44 p.m., employees at Walmart in Willows contacted Glenn County Communications and reported Nathan John was at the business. While en route, deputies were told John had been previously admonished from Walmart. Deputies located John at ampm and learned Walmart did not wish to pursue the matter criminally, and just wanted John moved along. John was subsequently told of the report and agreed to stay away.

2:29 p.m., Kiale Hogue contacted Glenn County Communications and alleged his brother, Bucky Hogue, sent him threatening text messages. Deputies responded to Kiale Hogue’s residence, 1201 West Wood Street, apt. #32, Willows, and conducted an on-scene investigation. It was determined Kiale Hogue and Bucky Hogue had a disagreement regarding Bucky’s daughter. Kiale Hogue stated the disagreement has been going on for multiple months and he was in the process of obtaining a restraining order. Deputies were unable to determine where the threats occurred and advised Kiale to contact the sheriff’s office if Bucky Hogue arrived at his residence.

2:43 p.m., Daveinder Thiara contacted Glenn County Communications to report suspicious circumstances at their residence at 6451 County Road 24, Orland. Deputy Garcia was dispatched and contacted Thiara, via telephone, as requested. Thiara reported an unknown woman associated with a blue Toyota 4-Runner came onto their property and took several photos of their residence. Thiara requested extra patrol in the area and said he would contact law enforcement if the woman returned.

3:04 p.m., Katie Childrens arrived at the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office and turned in a found Wells Fargo debit card. Childrens said she located the debit card at the Willows City Hall, 201 North Lassen Street, at an unknown time. Deputies collected the debit card and booked it for safekeeping.

3:21 p.m., an anonymous party contacted Glenn County Communications and reported a man was approaching vehicles in the McDonald’s drive-thru, 1401 West Wood Street, Willows, with rocks in his hands. The reporting parting stated the man wore a white t-shirt and black pants. Deputies responded to the business and conducted an extensive area check but were unable to find the reported man.

5:17 p.m., Jarrod Stueve contacted Glenn County Communications and reported a man entered his front yard at 506 South Shasta Street, Willows, and attempted to steal a bicycle. Deputies responded and contacted Stueve, who provided a photograph of the suspect and said the suspect ultimately left without the bicycle. The suspect was identified as Nathan John and Stueve requested he be counseled. Deputies conducted an extensive area check, but were unable to locate John.

6:01 p.m., Miriam Diaz of Hamilton City reported harassment via Snap Chat. Deputy Ayres contacted Diaz and the 13-year-old who received the inappropriate message. The deputy will continue to try and identify the minor who sent it.

6:17 p.m.,Deputy Thompson was dispatched to a juvenile matter. The deputy contacted Jessica Ayala and her juvenile daughter outside their apartment at 600 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows. Ayala said earlier in the day at about 1 p.m. her daughter was confronted by another juvenile at the apartment complex. Ayala said the child called her daughter names, then threw her daughter’s glasses. Ayala requested the child be counseled. The deputy contacted the other involved juvenile and her father, Richard Hiller. Both were notified of the complaint and told not to contact the other girl. The matter was handled by counseling.

7:24 p.m., Deputy Ayres was dispatched to a report of ongoing sexual assaults near Orland. Deputy Ayres contacted the reporting party and a report was taken.

7:26 p.m., while on patrol at Villa and Walnut Streets in Willows, Deputy Thompson conducted an enforcement stop on a grey Nissan passenger car for speed. The deputy contacted the driver, Brandon Rodriguez, and ultimately issued him a citation for the alleged offense. Rodriguez was released on his signed promise to appear for the infraction.

9:49 p.m., Deputy Ramirez responded to the area of Round Table Pizza in Willows for an anonymous report of five or six possible gunshots heard in the area. Deputy Ramirez searched the area but did not hear any additional gunshots. Deputy Ramirez located debris of set off aerial fireworks in the area. Deputy Ramirez did not locate any responsible parties for the fireworks.

9:52 p.m., deputies contacted Joseph Peters at Walmart, 470 North Airport Road, Willows. Deputies had prior knowledge Peters had an outstanding Glenn County misdemeanor warrant. Glenn County Communications confirmed Peters’ warrant was active. Peters was ultimately placed under arrest and transported to the Glenn County Jail.

10:56 p.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to a report of trespassing at 143 North Yolo Street, Willows. The deputy contacted reporting party Joshua Huffman, who reported an ongoing issue with a person setting cat traps on the property. Huffman said he saw a person setting the traps on his video surveillance camera prior to Deputy Thompson’s arrival. The deputy observed two live traps, neither of which were located on the property where Huffman resided. Deputy Thompson contacted Margaret Payne of Willows, who said she was working with an organization out of Butte County to spay and neuter feral cats. Payne was told to obtain written permission from the property owners prior to setting any traps on private property. Payne collected her traps and left the area for the evening.

11:14 p.m., Deputies responded to the area of Jefferson Street in Willows for a report of shots heard. Deputies checked the area and contacted residents, who said the noise was from fireworks near the area of the Cedar Hills Apartments. Deputies conducted a foot patrol of Cedar Hills and spoke with residents. No further fireworks were heard or reported.

Thursday, June 17:

3:09 a.m., Stanley Security reported an alarm activation at 7133 County Road 33, Artois. Stanley Security notified Glenn County Communications that Charles Demmer was listed as the resident and responsible party for the residence. Glenn County Communications contacted Demmer, who said the alarm had been set off due to a power outage. Demmer said he was in the process of contacting the alarm company and did not require any further law enforcement assistance.

7:58 a.m., deputies responded to Mar-Val Foods in Willows for a report of an unknown man assaulting an employee. Deputies responded, contacted the victims at the store, and initiated an on-scene investigation. After further investigation, it was determined Nathan John allegedly battered two employees and assaulted another with a full glass bottle of alcohol. John fled the store on foot prior to the deputies’ arrival. At about 12:58 p.m., deputies responded to the area of West Cedar and South Shasta Streets for a report of a man looking into vehicles (see below). Deputies responded and contacted the reported man, John, in the 400 block of South Lassen Street. John was taken into custody regarding the alleged assault.

8 a.m., deputies were requested at the Glenn County Jail for a combative inmate in the booking area. Deputies responded and assisted until no longer needed. The inmate was Anthony Francis Jr. of 650 North Butte Street, Willows.

9:04 a.m., Peter Hershkowitz contacted Glenn County Communications and requested to speak with a deputy regarding a trespassing admonishment from Subway, in Willows. Deputy Garcia was dispatched and contacted Hershkowitz, via telephone, as requested. Hershkowitz was advised to wait until the 30-day admonishment expired until he returned to the business to apologize.

10:12 a.m., Zane Allen contacted Glenn County Communications and reported a suspicious man at 121 West Wood Street, Willows. Allen believed the man may have vandalized a metal gate, which surrounded the dumpster area. Deputies responded and contacted Andrew Lemmon of Santa Rosa at the location. Lemmon did not require law enforcement assistance and was ultimately moved along.

10:54 a.m., Claudette Fulton contacted Glenn County Communications and requested a welfare check on a man who was in a wheelchair, yelling outside of 233 West Ash Street, Willows. Deputies responded and contacted Joshua Stine and Dennis Bazsile at the residence. It was determined Stine was unable to enter the residence due to forgetting his keys and Baszile was asleep inside. Neither party required law enforcement assistance.

11:35 a.m., an anonymous party contacted Glenn County Communications and requested deputies at 311 North Butte Street, Willows, for a report of found narcotics. Deputies arrived at the location and contacted the reporting party. Deputies collected the substance, which was consistent with methamphetamine, and booked it into Glenn County Sheriff’s evidence for destruction. The substance had a gross field weight of 3.1 grams (0.109 ounces).

11:58 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Glenn County Jail lobby for a report of found property. Deputies arrived at the lobby and contacted Andy Herbert Dalson of Willows, who turned over a found purse. Dalson said he found the purse on the West Wood Street overpass, at Interstate 5, at about 9 a.m. Deputies collected the purse and booked it into Glenn County Sheriff’s evidence for safekeeping.

12:58 p.m., Aldofo Velaquez requested an area check for a man wearing a gray shirt and black pants who was looking into vehicles in the area of South Shasta and West Cedar Streets, Willows. Deputies responded and contacted the reported man, Nathan John of Elk Creet, in the 400 block of South Lassen Street. John was taken into custody on numerous felony charges from an earlier incident in the day.

3:01 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Elm Street and South Murdock Avenue in Willows for a request of an area check for a man who urinated in public. Deputies responded and contacted Gilberto Rubio of Willows, who matched the description of the reported man. The reporting party declined to be contacted and Rubio denied the allegations. Rubio was ultimately counseled on his behavior and moved along.

3:13 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the Diamond Gas Station in Willows for the report of a recovered counterfeit $5 bill. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted Jeremiah Woodworth and an employee of the gas station. It was determined Woodworth received the $5 bill as a tip from his place of employment, Elenita’s Mexican Restaurant, 239 W. Wood Street, Willows. Woodworth was unable to provide a date or time for when he received the $5 bill. The counterfeit bill was collected and booked into Glenn County Sheriff’s evidence, to be forwarded to the Secret Service.

4:26 p.m., Kelly Thompson of Willows contacted Glenn County Communications and requested to speak with a deputy regarding a peaceful contact order between she and Allen Kyler, also of Willows. Deputies contacted Thompson via telephone, as requested. Thompson explained an incident with Kyler that gave her anxiety. Thompson ultimately stated she did not believe Kyler violated the order and did not request contact in person, or to pursue criminal charges. Thompson was ultimately provided with her options.

5:07 p.m., Tamara Willis, from Butte Home Health and Hospice, contacted Glenn County Communications to report the expected death of Norman Warren, 80, of Willows. Warren had pre-existing illnesses and was entered into hospice care on June 9. Next of kin, Bonnie Warren, was present at the time of death. F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary of Willows was contacted by the family.

6:27 p.m., Ruby Khoury, RN, from Enloe Home Care and Hospice reported the expected death of Ralph Langston, 83, of Willows. The decedent suffered from several pre-existing illnesses and had been under hospice care since June 16. Family was present at the time of death. Diana Entz was identified as the next of kin and she was present at time of death. The decedent was released to Affordable Mortuary in Chico.

7:17 p.m., Deputy Thompson responded to a report of an outbuilding on fire in the area of Jefferson and West Wood Streets, Willows. When the deputy arrived at the scene, the Willows Fire Department had extinguished the fire prior. The fire was determined to have originated on the seat portion of a couch located between the residence and detached garage. The residence sustained minor damage to the exterior and the garage sustained moderate damage, also to the exterior. Fire Chief Peabody conducted a cause and origin investigation into the incident. The owner of the residence was contacted via telephone and said he had been cutting material on the couch prior to this incident. As of the time of this incident the cause of the fire is undetermined.

8:20 p.m., Dorothy Peck reported a cold trespassing at 6470 County Road 7 in Orland and requested a phone call from a deputy. Deputy Ramirez contacted Peck by phone and she said she had been contacted by a neighbor and told that a woman was trespassing at her residence several hours ago. Peck said the woman was no longer at the residence, but believed her name was Angie. Peck requested extra patrol at her residence. Peck requested if Angie was contacted, that she be admonished from the property. Peck was provided with extra patrol.

8:37 p.m., Andrea Gomez-Villarreal of Willows reported her father, Jose Gomez-Rosas of Willows, was yelling and being aggressive towards her mother, Olga Villarreal-Robles, also of Willows. Andrea Gomez-Villarreal said the parties were separated and that her father had been drinking. Deputies contacted the involved parties. After an on-scene investigation, Deputy Ayres arrested Jose Gomez-Rosas for alleged domestic battery and false imprisonment. He was booked into the Glenn County Jail.

9:39 p.m., Antonio Hernandez of Orland requested a phone call from a deputy regarding suspicious circumstances at 4582 Highway 99 in Orland. Deputy Ramirez contacted Hernandez, who said he had recently been prescribed a different medication, which was giving him hallucinations. Hernandez explained he just wanted to notify law enforcement. Hernandez said he did not want harm himself and did not need medical attention. Hernandez said he was already in contact with his medical doctor and had an upcoming appointment. Hernandez said he was going to go to sleep and did not require any further law enforcement assistance.

10:02 p.m., Cedar Hills property manager Beverly Perez reported Joseph Workman was playing music loudly outside the residence. Perez said when she contacted Workman regarding this, Workman was hostile towards her. Deputy Ayres contacted Workman and several other people outside, where a boom box was being played excessively loud. Workman turned the music off when he saw the deputy. Workman told the deputies would not need to come back out for this issue.

10:04 p.m., ADT Alarm reported a commercial alarm activation at 3760 Highway 99. Sergeant Draper arrived and found the business to be secured and nothing suspicious was noted. A responsible party was not able to be reached by the alarm company.

10:25 p.m., Erin Kennedy of Willows reported Angel Bush allegedly being intoxicated and refusing to leave her property. Deputies searched the area but did not locate Bush.

10:39 p.m., Bay Alarm Company reported an alarm activation at Gandy & Staley on Eureka Street in Willows. Upon Sergeant Draper’s arrival, Bay Alarm cancelled law enforcement response.

11:30 p.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to an anonymous report of a heard disturbance in the area of Highway 162 and Second Street in Willows. Deputies responded to the area and conducted a thorough check of the area but did not observe or hear any disturbances.

Monday, June 14:

10:19 a.m., on Walker Street, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a silver 2006 Honda Odyssey for a moving violation. The driver, Christian Fisher, 38 of Orland, was issued a citation for allegedly talking on her cell phone while driving.

11:30 a.m., an Orland police officer contacted Robyn Pio, 25, of Orland, at the police department. He spoke with an officer regarding concerns he had and he did not meet the criteria for further evaluation. Pio was provided with resources.

1:21 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 702 Salomon Drive for a request for a welfare check. Officers contacted Anita Kelm, 85, of Orland, who stated she was fine and not in need of assistance.

1:31 p.m., Orland police officers responded to an alarm activation at DeSerj, 716 Fourth Street. Officers contacted the business owner, Denise Sandate, 54, of Orland, who stated the alarm was accidently activated by another employee.

2:37 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a reported restraining order violation. Susan Voelker, 63, of Orland, alleged that Sandra Reed, 63, of Orland, drove by the residence at 1033 East Street in violation of a restraining order. Officers contacted Reed at 22 South Street. Following an investigation, Reed was arrested, transported, and booked into the Glenn County Jail.

4:12 p.m., Orland police officers responded to an alarm activation at Simplot, 1536 Railroad Avenue. Officers determined the alarm was set off in error due to the wind.

5:16 p.m., the Orland Police Department received a report of a group of juveniles fighting near the Lollipop Land park, 300 East Street. Upon arrival, officers contacted a group of children. One of them said another one picked a fight with him but left the scene prior to the arrival of police officers. The father of the child was contacted and arrived on scene. After an investigation, the father requested no further assistance from the Orland Police Department.

6:57 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a disturbance near Alexandria Park. Officers contacted Lamya Alreyashi, 18, of Orland, who alleged Heidi Tosti, 37, of Orland, threw a plastic gallon jug at her vehicle while she was driving.

9:13 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a reported alarm activation at 1361 Cortina Drive. Officers contacted an employee’s son, Cory Walker, 22, who was cleaning the building. Walker was told of the complaint and the building was secured.

11:59 p.m., Orland police officers assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a 911 hang-up at 3942 Highway 99 until no further assistance was needed.

Tuesday, June 15:

7 a.m., the Orland Police Department received a report from George Toney, 73, of Orland, of commercial trucks parked off the truck route. Officers checked Yolo Street and Colusa Street where the violations were reported. Officers did not locate any commercial trucks parked on the roadway in violation of the Orland Municipal Code and only located two trucks parked on private property.

9:58 a.m., in the 900 block of Eighth Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a gray 2014 Mercedes SUV. The driver, Ines Crosby, 78, of Orland, was issued a citation for allegedly speeding.

10:25 a.m., an Orland police officer was contacted in the 400 block of Fourth Street by an 18-year-old woman, who reported her father had slapped her on June 14. She declined to pursue an investigation and was provided with civil options.

12:09 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a woman who received a defaced $20 note. Officers collected the note and it will be sent to the U.S. Treasury.

1:25 p.m., Orland police officers responded to Lely Aquatic Park for a report of a theft of a baseball. Amanda Walsh, 31, of Orland, stated a woman who took the baseball appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Officers contacted Elaine Howard, 71, and Kenneth Dresia, 65. After an investigation, both parties were counseled and released.

3:36 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at 240 Butte Street. Officers contacted Christine Whitcomb, 54, who stated she was visiting a friend who adopted her cat, and she was spending time with the cat.

5:18 p.m., at 1319 Fairview Street, Todd Conley of Orland called to report his vehicle had been ransacked sometime the prior night and was missing some items. An investigation was initiated.

7:30 p.m., Orland police officers contacted Steven Denton, 28, of Sacramento, after he was reported by a Grocery Outlet employee as being agitated after missing the bus. Officers learned that Denton was allegedly out of compliance for his arson registry and was placed under arrest. During transport to the Glenn County Jail, Denton suffered from a medical condition unrelated to the arrest and was transported to Glenn Medical Center, where he was released on his signed promise to appear.

8:15 p.m., the Orland Police Department received a report of a domestic dispute at 93 Yolo Street. Following an investigation, Martha Barba, 54, of Orland, was arrested for alleged domestic battery.

9 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Speedway on South Street for a report of a man having seizures. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

9:45 p.m., the Orland Police Department was contacted by George Martinez, 52, of Orland, regarding threats over social media. Officers provided Martinez with information and the incident was documented.

Wednesday, June 16:

4:50 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a traffic collision that occurred in the parking lot of the Pilot Travel Center, 4444 Commerce Lane. Officers contacted the drivers of the two semi-trucks, Javier Cadena, 51, of Arizona, and Luis Gallego-Arias, 35, of Oregon. Both parties were assisted with exchanging information relating to the accident.

9:55 a.m., in the 700 block of Salomon Drive, an Orland police officer observed a red 1992 Chevrolet pickup with expired registration parked on the public roadway. A citation was issued to the registered owner.

10:30 a.m., on South Street, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a silver 2007 Toyota Highlander for a moving violation. The driver, Jake Dahl, 77, of Orland, was issued a citation for allegedly speeding.

2:39 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a request for a welfare check. Javier Perez, 54, of Northridge, requested a welfare check on his three children, whom he said he had not seen for several weeks. Officers contacted the children and their mother at 301 Byron Way and found them fine and not in need of assistance.

3:56 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 127 East Swift Street for a report of a suspicious circumstance. Officers contacted Jeff Wood, 49, of Orland, who stated he got a package in the mail that he was not expecting. Officers opened the package and discovered it was from a family member.

6:05 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 344 Tuve Circle for a report of a man who was heard screaming. Officers contacted Matthew Fleming, 58, of Orland. Fleming declined any assistance and was asked to move along.

11:50 p.m., at 4443 County Road M 1/2, an Orland police officer located a 2007 Ford Mustang parked on the street with expired registration. The registered owner was issued a parking citation.

11:55 p.m., at 1041 Trinity Street, an Orland police officer observed an apparently abandoned 2001 Ford Focus parked on the street. The vehicle was marked for 72-hour abatement.

Thursday, June 17:

12:25 a.m., on Swift Street, an Orland police officer located an apparently abandoned blue 2002 Ford Focus parked on the street. The vehicle was marked for 72-hour abatement.

12:55 a.m., on Papst Avenue, an Orland police officer observed a sliver 2003 Hyundai Elantra with expired registration parked on the street. A parking citation was issued to the registered owner.

1 a.m., on Yolo Street, an Orland police officer observed a travel trailer that had been parked on the street for an extended period of time. The travel trailer was marked for abatement.

10:06 a.m., Martin Hernandez-Castro, 19, a laborer who lives in Hamilton City, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of drugs (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $5,000. He was taken into custody on North Humboldt Avenue at County Road 48 by a California Highway Patrol officer.

2:58 p.m., Sandra Joyce Reed, 63, a cashier who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging disobeying a court order (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at zero. She was taken into custody at 22 South Street by an Orland police officer.

6:25 p.m., Douglas Eugene Flowers, 68, a truck driver who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and driving while under the influence of alcohol (both misdemeanors). Bail was set at $10,000. He was taken into custody on County Road 60 at County Road SS by a California Highway Patrol officer.

7:45 p.m., Latsamy Kangmeuang, 44, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging disobeying a court order (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $7,000. He was taken into custody at 650 North Butte Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

11:59 p.m., Juan Antonio Medina, 33, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging resisting or obstructing a public service officer (a misdemeanor), possession of a dirk or dagger (can be charged as either a misdemeanor or felony). Bail was set at $10,000, but he was also held without bail on charges alleging violation of post-release community supervision (a felony). He was taken into custody at 454 North Shasta Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Tuesday, June 15:

8:45 a.m., Lissette Marie Gomez, 27, a laborer who lives in Orland, was committed to the Glenn County Jail without bail on charges alleging violation of post-release community supervision (a felony). She was taken into custody at 423 Fifth Street, apt. #28, Orland, by a Glenn County probation officer.

11:30 a.m., Jesus Guadalupe Cervantes-Godinez, 26, a laborer who lives in Gerber, was booked into the Glenn County Jail without bail on a court remand for charges alleging cultivation of more than six marijuana plants (a misdemeanor).

1:44 p.m., Jose Luis Garibay, 41, a construction worker who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony violation of probation, and misdemeanor violation of probation. Bail was set at $75,000. He was taken into custody at 745 Paigewood Drive, apt. #5, Orland, by a Glenn County probation officer.

1:47 p.m., Aaron Benjamin Johanningsmeier, 24, a feeder who lives in Glenn, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a court remand for charges alleging carrying a loaded firearm on one’s person or in a vehicle (a misdemeanor), public intoxication (a misdemeanor), threatening to commit a crime resulting in great bodily injury (a felony), and exhibition of a firearm (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $155,000.

4:05 p.m., Deanna Lynn Lewis, 58, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging misdemeanor violation of probation. Bail was set at $10,000. She was taken into custody at 262 Gable Drive, Orland, by a Glenn County probation officer.

4:05 p.m., T.J. Royce Morrison, 27, a laborer who lives in Artois, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging possession of a controlled substance, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia (both misdemeanors), and a warrant alleging reckless driving on a highway (a misdemeanor). Bail for the fresh charges was set at zero, but bail for the warrant was set at $7,000. He was taken into custody at 22 South Street, Orland, by a Glenn County probation officer.

5:53 p.m., Breno Augusto Gomes, 21, a food delivery worker who lives in Boca Raton, Fla., was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of drugs (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $5,000. He was taken into custody on the southbound side of Interstate 5, just south of County Road 27, by a California Highway Patrol officer.

8:50 p.m., Benton Robert Holloway, 23, an air defense systems worker who lives in Portland, Ore., was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol, and evading a peace officer (all misdemeanors). Bail was set at $15,000. He was taken into custody on Highway 99, just north of Lurline, near Maxwell, by a California Highway Patrol officer.

9:21 p.m., Martha Barba, 54, a driver who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging infliction of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant (a felony). Bail was set at $25,000. She was taken into custody at 93 Yolo Street by an Orland police officer.

11:59 p.m., Juan Antonio Medina, 33, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail without bail on a warrant alleging violation of post-release community supervision (a felony). He was taken into custody at 454 North Shasta Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Here are the latest incident reports from the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office.

Wednesday, June 9:

12:34 a.m., Charissa Lavilla, RN, from Glenn Medical Center, reported the expected death of Judy Taylor, 73, of Willows. The decedent suffered from several pre-existing illnesses and had been under comfort care since March 2. Her family was not present at the time of death. Linda Taylor (sister) and Angel Croll (niece) of Wisconsin were identified as the next of kin. The deputy was unable to notify Linda, but left a voicemail to contact him. The deputy contacted Croll and told her of her aunt’s death. The decedent was released to Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary of Orland.

8:18 a.m., Michelle Neeley contacted Glenn County Communications and reported a suspicious vehicle on her property at 4238 County Road E, Orland. Deputies responded and located the black 2013 Honda Civic. Deputies conducted a records check on the vehicle’s license plate and learned it was registered to Antonio Martinez, out of Corning. Deputies located Martinez on the property and Neeley said he was allowed to be on the property to tend to the orchard.

10:09 a.m., Deputy Garcia was on routine patrol at 600 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows, when he contacted Seth Dominguez-Feathers in the parking lot. Deputy Garcia had prior knowledge that Dominguez-Feathers had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. A records check confirmed Dominguez-Feathers had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Glenn County. Deputy Garcia arrested Dominguez-Feathers and searched his person, incident to arrest. During the search, Deputy Garcia allegedly found methamphetamine on Dominguez-Feathers’ person. Dominguez-Feathers was transported and booked into the Glenn County Jail for his outstanding warrant and alleged possession of a controlled substance.

5:04 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Walmart after an employee reported a man wearing black clothing was causing a disturbance at the entrance of the business. Deputies responded, contacted the reported man, Byron Burrows of Elk Creek, in the parking lot, and initiated an on-scene investigation. The reporting party alleged Burrows had caused a disturbance inside the business prior to the deputies’ arrival, but declined to pursue the matter criminally. During the contact with Burrows, deputies noted he displayed the objective symptoms of intoxication. Burrows admitted to consuming alcohol earlier this day and a PAS test showed Burrows had a .094 percent blood alcohol level. Based on the totality of the circumstances, deputies determined Burrows was too intoxicated to care for the safety of himself and/or care for the safety of others. Burrows was arrested for alleged public intoxication and transported to the Glenn County Jail. Burrows was to be released once sober.

5:29 p.m., Leslie Ferguson of Orland contacted Glenn County Communications and requested to speak with a deputy regarding a civil matter over unreturned property. Deputies attempted contact with Ferguson three separate times, using her provided telephone number, with no success. Deputies left a voicemail message and requested a callback from Ferguson.

Thursday, June 10:

12:05 a.m., Eagle Security reported an alarm activation at 9055 Highway 162, Butte City. Muhammad Hussain, the responsible party for the property, was contacted. Hussain canceled law enforcement response, due to recent issues with the alarm system.

12:12 a.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to an anonymous report of a heard disturbance in the area of West Wood and Jefferson Streets, Willows. The reporting party reported hearing two unknown persons yelling at each other in Spanish near the roadway. Deputies checked the area and contacted Aurelio Chavez of Orland in the area. Chavez was alone and said he had been yelling at himself. Glenn County Communications later said there was possibly a grey unknown passenger car involved. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate a vehicle with that description or any disturbances.

12:15 a.m., the Glenn County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received an anonymous report of third-hand information that a woman at 325 Broadway Street, apt. #1B, Hamilton City, told her friend that her boyfriend hit her. Deputy Ayres contacted Patricia Solorzano and Jose Marquese-Hernandez at the apartment. Both said it was a verbal domestic argument and was never physical. Handled by separation.

12:44 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a report of a possible trespassing at 7295 County Road 33, Artois. Deputies responded to the area and located single vehicle that had left the roadway and rolled over. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision and the CHP was notified. Deputies assisted the CHP until no longer needed.

1:53 a.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to Circle K, 210 West Wood Street, Willows, for an anonymous report of a woman in a silver van using narcotics while children where inside the vehicle. Deputies responded and contacted Chankham Intavong of Willows. Deputies conducted filed sobriety tests on Intavong. After investigation, Intavong was found not to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Intavong was released from the scene.

2:18 a.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to a noise complaint. The reporting party reported barking dogs at an address on North Sonoma Street, Willows. Deputies contacted Kenneth Kessler at 337 North Sonoma Street. Kessler was told of the complaint and agreed to take steps to mitigate the issue.

6:28 a.m., William Carriere reported a red Chevrolet Camaro was stuck on the levee at the east side of County Road 54, Glenn. Carriere said there was a white female adult associated with the vehicle. The woman caused a disturbance when offered a tow. Deputies and CHP responded. The vehicle was ultimately towed off the levee. Deputies stood by until no longer needed.

6:58 a.m., Tong Thao contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to request a welfare check on Jillian Strycker of Willows. Deputy Chavez was dispatched and contacted Jillian, who said she was having a rough day and was waiting for Glenn County Behavior Health to open so she could speak to her counsellor. Jillian’s mother, Laura Strycker of Willows, was present and said she was watching Jillian and would help Jillian get in contact with her counsellor. Both parties were provided with additional resources to assist them.

7:10 a.m., Teresa Meredith contacted the sheriff’s office to report her husband, Steven Meredith, finding a cell phone in the area of County Roads 20 and KK in Orland. Deputy Tuma was dispatched and the cell phone was collected as found property.

9:43 a.m., Robert Southard at 6743 County Rd 19, Orland, contacted the sheriff’s office, reporting a man named Jay was inside the residence and refusing to leave. Southard reported the man was invited over for the night by Steven Stoltenberg. Deputy Tuma was dispatched and contacted Stoltenberg and Southard. Stoltenberg and Southard said the man had locked himself in a room when they told him he needed to leave. Deputy Tuma contacted the man, who was recognized as Julian Martinez of Orland. Martinez was ultimately placed under arrest for alleged drug-related charges and transported to the Glenn County Jail, where he was released to jail staff for booking.

9:47 a.m., Xa Lee contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report a disturbance. Deputy Chavez responded to 636 Fifth Street, Willows. Deputy Chavez contacted Xa Lee, Joshua Lee, Pa Xiong, and Cheng Xiong. After speaking with all parties, it was determined the disturbance was verbal only. Glenn County Communications confirmed and informed Deputy Chavez that Xa Lee had an outstanding Colusa County Warrant. Deputy Chavez placed Xa under arrest and transported him to the Glenn County Jail, where he was booked by jail staff.

10:28 a.m., Deputy Tuma was dispatched to the area of 465 Walsh Avenue, Hamilton City, for a report of Michelle Urrutia yelling and causing a disturbance. Deputy Tuma responded and conducted a check of the area but Urrutia was gone.

10:46 a.m., Corin Johnson of Willows contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report found property. Deputy Chavez was dispatched and responded. Johnson said someone left a grey bike on her property and she did not know who the owner of the bike was. Deputy Chavez collected the found property and booked it into the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office as found property.

1:05 p.m., Michael Frederiksen contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report a Hispanic male adult was attempting to open doors at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 810 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows. Deputies responded and contacted Hermelindo Salgado in the church parking lot. Glenn County Communication conducted a records check and confirmed a Glenn County warrant for Salgado. Deputy Chavez placed Salgado under arrest. The church building’s doors were secure and there were no signs of entry. Salgado was transported to the Glenn County Jail and booked by jail staff.

2:12 p.m., Mollisa Dominguez contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report a counterfeit $20 bill was collected at the Dollar Tree in Willows. Deputy Chavez was dispatched and responded. Dominquez said a woman attempted to use the counterfeit bill to make a purchase. Dominguez determined the bill was counterfeit and collected the bill from the woman. Dominquez said she had never seen the woman before and believed the woman did not know the bill was counterfeit. The woman used cash to complete her transaction and left the business. Deputy Chavez collected the counterfeit bill and booked it into the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office evidence room so it could be sent to the Secret Service.

2:28 p.m., Guillermo Ledesma contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report a white male adult in a blue shirt was threatening employees at McDonald’s restaurant, 1401 West Wood Street. Willows. Deputy Chavez responded and contacted the McDonald’s regional manager, Felicia Armenta of Orland, and was told the man said his name was Dingman. Armenta requested the man be admonished for trespassing if contacted. Deputy Chavez contacted Robert Dingman at the intersection of North Humboldt Avenue and West Wood Street. Dingman was counselled on his behavior and admonished for trespassing.

3:45 p.m., James Bettencourt contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report an ongoing issue with Ruth Word trespassing on his property at 1021 West Sycamore Street, Willows. Deputy Chavez was dispatched and contacted Bettencourt in the sheriff’s office lobby. Bettencourt requested information regarding a civil restraining order and the process to obtain a civil restraining order. Deputy Chavez provided the information requested. Deputy Chavez contacted Word and advised her to stay off her neighbor’s property.

4:25 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 6360 Stoneridge Drive in Orland for a residential alarm activation. Deputies arrived and contacted Rafael Montes-Hernandez at the residence. Deputies determined Montes-Hernandez was allowed to be at the residence and the alarm was accidently activated.

5 p.m., Byron Burrows at the Grindstone Rancheria in Elk Creek reported Jason Fred came to his residence and caused a disturbance. Both parties had separated prior to Byron calling. Deputy Goodwin contacted Byron, who said Jason came to his residence and caused a disturbance over his aunt. Byron said it was verbal only. Byron was provided with information. Deputy Goodwin contacted Jason, who stated he was unhappy with how Byron treats his grandmother. Byron confirmed the dispute was verbal only. Jason was counseled and provided with information.

6:11 p.m., Stephanie Harvey of Willows reported vandalism to a bird bath in her yard and requested to speak with a deputy. Deputy Lourenzo responded and contacted Harvey, who said she believed her mother-in-law, Billie Baxter-Burke, damaged the property. Harvey requested the incident be documented and Baxter-Burke was counseled on her alleged behavior. Harvey was provided with information and options on how to handle matters in the future.

7:34 p.m., Rafael Matson of Willows requested to speak with deputy regarding possible harassment from his neighbors over his marijuana use. Deputy McIntyre spoke with Matson via phone. After speaking with Matson, it was determined to be a civil matter and Matson was provided with options on how to handle the matter in the future.

8:59 p.m., Jennifer Peevey of Willows requested to speak with a deputy regarding her missing son. Deputy McIntyre contacted Peevey, who said she had not heard from her son, Salvador Chavez Jr., since March 24. Peevey wanted to report Chavez as missing. A report was taken and Chavez was entered into the Missing and Unidentified Persons System (MUPS).

9:30 p.m., Vanessa Blanchard reported an unidentified man was following her and her juvenile daughter while walking in Willows. Deputy Lourenzo responded and contacted Blanchard, who said the man left the area prior to deputies arriving. Deputies searched the area, but were ultimately unable to locate the man. Deputy Lourenzo provided Blanchard and the girl a courtesy ride to their residence on North Shasta Street in Willows and the incident was documented.

11:21 p.m., an employee from the Blue Gum Motel, 2637 Highway 99, requested a deputy for a woman who was knocking on doors, asking for help as her boyfriend left her at the motel. Deputy McIntyre responded and contacted Jasmine Husak, who said her boyfriend and another woman left her at the motel without a phone. Husak was provided a courtesy ride.

Friday, June 11:

3:07 a.m., Janet Myers from Butte Home Health and Hospice called the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report the expected death of Phyllis Landberg, 94. Landberg suffered from preexisting medical conditions and was on hospice care since April 27. Next of kin, Bryan Landberg, was notified of the decedent’s death by Deputy Huichapan. The death occurred at WestHaven Assisted Living, 1440 Fairview Street. F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary of Willows was to remove the body.

9:17 a.m., Heidi Blosser with the Subway in Willows contacted the sheriff’s office, reporting a man causing a disturbance because the restaurant was not opened yet. Deputies contacted Blosser, who reported the man kicked the front door and was being irate. Blosser requested the man be admonished for trespassing if contacted. Blosser reported the man was associated with a white sedan, which left prior to deputies’ arrival. Glenn County Communications reported the sedan was registered to 526 Fifth Street in Willows. Deputies responded and contacted the man, who identified himself as Peter Hershkowitz, 61. Hershkowitz was counselled and given a trespassing admonishment for Subway.

10:12 a.m., Sergio Iniguez contacted the sheriff’s office, wishing to turn in a firearm in compliance with a served protection order. Deputy Tuma was dispatched and contacted Iniguez in the front lobby. Iniguez said the shotgun was at the residence at 550 South Murdock Avenue, apt. #2, Willows, where he is not allowed to be. Iniguez also claimed he found the shotgun laying in the roadway on Maxwell Road last November but never reported it. Deputy Tuma responded to the residence and spoke with the protected party. Deputy Tuma found the shotgun, a Remington 870 Express Magnum 12-gauge pump action shotgun. Deputy Tuma collected the shotgun and it was booked into Glenn County Sheriff’s Evidence as found property.

11:59 a.m., Charles Randolph contacted the sheriff’s office, requesting to speak to a deputy regarding an ongoing issue with Angel Bush coming onto his property at 550 Adams Street, Willows. Deputy Tuma contacted Randolph by phone per his request. Deputy Tuma provided Randolph with restraining order information and advised him to contact the Sheriff’s Office the next time Bush came onto his property.

12:11 p.m., Erin Dake contacted the sheriff’s office reporting an unknown person possibly attempted to burglarize her residence at 117 South Yolo Street, apt. #5, Willows, sometime during the night. Deputy Tuma was dispatched and contacted Dake, who reported she noticed the screen on her window was bent upwards and her window was open more than usual. Deputy Tuma inspected the window and noted fresh smudges on the window but did not locate any other evidence. Dake said nothing was taken and no one entered her residence. Dake requested documentation and extra patrol during the nighttime hours. Dake was provided with options to make her residence more secure. Glenn County Communications told Deputy Tuma that Dake had an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Marin County, with bail set at $5,000. Dake was placed under arrest and released on a signed promise to appear.

1:31 p.m., an anonymous man contacted the sheriff’s office, reporting a man wearing red shorts was driving a black street bike in a reckless manner in the area of South Butte and Birch Streets in Willows. Deputy Tuma was dispatched and conducted a search of the area but the vehicle was gone prior to his arrival.

3:56 p.m., Trudy Pimblett contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report Annabelle Carriere was bleeding from her foot and was having difficulty breathing. Deputies responded to the residence in Willows. On arrival, deputies attempted life-saving measures until a “Do Not Resuscitate” was located. Enloe Ambulance staff advised to stop life-saving measures at 4:09 p.m. Deputy Chavez initiated a coroner’s investigation. Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary ultimately took possession of the decedent. Next of kin, Arlis Osuna, was notified of the decedent’s death.

6:18 p.m., the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office SAFE Team received an anonymous tip that Robert Hammond, a sex offender registrant, was in violation of his registration terms. Deputy Lourenzo initiated an investigation and the matter was forwarded to the Glenn County District Attorney’s Office for review.

7:14 p.m., Garret Vonseggern alleged Gene McDaniel was yelling obscene words at him. Vonseggern requested a deputy respond and counsel McDaniel on his behavior. Deputy Huichapan responded to the Cedar Hills apartment complex and contacted McDaniel in the area of unit #253. Deputy Huichapan informed McDaniel why he was being contacted and McDaniel denied the allegations. McDaniel was advised to stay away from Vonseggern and he agreed. Deputy Huichapan contacted Vonseggern and advised him on the restraining order process.

7:28 p.m., Jessie Smith requested a deputy respond to the Diamond Gas Station in Willows to collect a counterfeit $5 bill. Deputy Huichapan responded and spoke with Smith, who said she received the bill from an unknown person sometime today. Smith requested Deputy Huichapan collect the counterfeit bill and nothing further. Deputy Huichapan collected the counterfeit bill and booked it into evidence to be sent to the Secret Service.

8:23 p.m., Deputy McIntyre and the Orland Fire Department responded to the area of 6358 County Road 14 on report of a chemical smell, possibly related to drug activity. Upon arrival, contact was made with Robert Hammond and determined there was no chemical smell and no drug activity going on at this location. Hammond was told of the complaint, and he agreed to a search of the trailer. Nothing suspicious was found.

Saturday, June 12:

12:51 a.m., Fair Oaks woman requested a welfare check on her 14-year-old daughter, who was with her 15-year-old boyfriend at 1460 Esperanza Avenue in Hamilton City. Weilmuster said she received second-hand information that her daughter had been assaulted by the boyfriend. Deputy McIntyre responded and while en-route was advised the girl was with her grandmother at the Stop-n-Shop in Orland. Contact was made with the girl, who said she and her boyfriend had been in an argument and both pushed each other. During the investigation, it was determined the girl was pregnant. It was determined this occurred at a residence in Chico. Deputy McIntyre contacted the 15-year-old boy, who provided the same information as the girl. Both were counseled and released to their guardians. A report was taken and the information will be forwarded to the appropriate outside agency.

2:36 a.m., Jeremy Bem of Willows alleged his girlfriend, Christina Badgley, assaulted him at his residence in Willows. Deputy Lourenzo responded and took a report. After speaking with all involved parties, it was determined that Badgley was the primary aggressor in the domestic violence incident, and caused visible injury to Bem during the altercation. Badgley was ultimately placed under arrest, transported, and booked into the Glenn County Jail.

4:22 a.m., Maddy Artiaga of Willows reported hearing a man yelling in the 500 block of Fourth Street in Willows and requested an area check. Deputies responded and conducted an extensive area check, with negative results. Deputies did not hear or observe anything suspicious in the area.

5:18 a.m., an anonymous male reported hearing a man yelling in the alley behind 130 West Cedar Street in Willows and requested an area check. Deputy Huichapan responded to the area and did not hear or observe anything suspicious in the alley. Jacklyn Johnson called shortly after and reported an unknown white male adult was throwing rocks at her residence. Deputies responded to 127 Elm Street and located Lucky Wyatt in the alley. Wyatt was acting erratic and had a hostile demeanor. Due to Wyatt’s demeanor, he was detained in handcuffs. Deputies spoke with Johnson, who reported there was no damage to her residence and declined to pursue criminal charges. Deputies performed a drug evaluation on Wyatt and determined he was allegedly under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant. Wyatt was placed under arrest and transported and booked into the Glenn County Jail without further incident.

8:07 a.m., Kelly Testerman contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report a man associated with a yellow sedan was parked in front of the residence at 6556 County Road 24, Orland. Testerman requested an area check. Deputies were dispatched and conducted an extensive area check but were unable to locate anyone in the area.

8:39 a.m., Jasmine Thitphaneth contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report an ongoing issue with her neighbor calling Glenn County Animal Control about her dogs. Deputy Chavez was dispatched and contacted Thitphaneth by telephone, as requested. Deputy Chavez provided Thitphaneth with options to handle the matter and answered questions regarding a civil harassment restraining order.

9:24 a.m., Linda Long of Orland contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report an ongoing issue with her neighbor regarding a property fence at 4494 County Road P that had allegedly been moved by the neighbor. Deputy Chavez contacted Long by telephone as requested. Deputy Chavez answered questions regarding the issue and referred Long to seek legal advice from an attorney regarding her options.

1:25 p.m., Clara Castillo-Puente contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report Carlos Puente Perez was having a medical emergency. Fire personnel arrived on scene on Fourth Street in Hamilton City. Puente Perez was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deputies responded and conducted a coroner’s investigation. The next of kin was notified.

4:13 p.m., Mystica Quezada contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report a physical altercation between Roman Quezada and herself. Deputy Chavez responded and contacted Mystica Quezada, who requested information regarding a restraining order. Roman Quezada was no longer on the property at 7135 County Road 20, Orland, and Mystica Quezada declined to pursue criminal charges. Deputy Chavez attempted to contact Roman by telephone but was unsuccessful.

6:25 p.m., Deputy McIntyre was dispatched to the area of Walmart on a report of a person wearing a grey shirt and black pants with his pants down around his ankles but wearing underwear. He was last seen walking east over the overpass. While en route, Deputy McIntyre observed a man matching this description walking east on West Wood Street. Contact was made with Steven Trimmer, who denied being anywhere near Walmart. While talking with Trimmer, Deputy McIntyre could allegedly smell the odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Deputy McIntyre had prior knowledge Trimmer is to abstain from drinking alcohol. After further investigation, Trimmer was arrested for alleged violation of a court order and booked into the Glenn County jail.

7:35 p.m., Linda Long reported her son, Johnny Long III, was in a verbal altercation with Shane Malcolm at their residence at 4494 County Road P, in Orland. Deputy Lourenzo responded and contacted all parties, who each said no physical altercation occurred. Both parties were advised to separate for the evening, and agreed to do so. The matter was settled by mediation.

8:23 p.m., Dyllyn Connolly reported vandalism to a residence at 4196 County Road K, in Orland. Deputy Lourenzo responded and learned that Michael Head shot an air gun loaded with a tic-tac at an outbuilding, resulting in a small chip in the paint of its exterior wall. Connolly did not wish to pursue criminal charges against Head for the vandalism. Deputy Lourenzo contacted Head and he was counseled on his behavior.

9:02 p.m., an anonymous person advised there was an alarm going off near the intersection of Merrill and Elm in Willows. Deputy McIntyre responded and found the alarm to be coming 650 South Merrill Avenue. There was no answer at the door and no responsible was available. The residence was checked and found to be secure. Deputy McIntyre was called back a second time when the alarm was activated again. Deputy McIntyre responded and contacted Yanett Mata, who was there to reset the alarm. The alarm was reset and the residence secured.

9:18 p.m., Marcelo Martinez alleged his ex-wife, Cristal Reyes, came to his residence at 240 Sacramento Avenue, sp. #35, Hamilton City, and vandalized property inside of the house. Deputies responded and contacted Martinez, who said numerous televisions had been broken, and his clothes dryer was damaged. After an investigation, it was determined to be a civil matter between Martinez and Reyes regarding community property between the two of them. Martinez was provided with civil options and information on how to obtain a restraining order.

9:29 p.m., Jacob Green called the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report loud music coming from a residence on Francis Lane in Orland. Due to priority calls, deputies were unable to immediately respond to the noise complaint. Deputies ultimately were able to respond to the call for service and spoke with the resident, who was hosting a party. When deputies arrived on scene, the music was turned down. Deputies told the resident of the complaint and the resident agreed to keep the music down.

9:36 p.m., an employee from Walmart requested a deputy for a person who was acting strange in the parking lot. Deputy McIntyre responded and contacted Nathan John of Elk Creek in the parking lot. John was told of the complaint and agreed to leave. John was admonished from Walmart and left the area without incident.

10:01 p.m., a confidential victim reported they were assaulted during a domestic violence incident at their residence in Glenn. Deputies responded and learned that Austin Shaw pushed the victim to the ground, resulting in a severe head injury, and choked the victim prior to leaving the residence. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate Shaw. An investigation was initiated and a report was taken.

10:41 p.m., deputies responded to the area of South Street and County Road K 1/2 in Orland for a report of a noise. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Norma Guevara at her residence. Guevara was told of the complaint and agreed to keep the noise level down for the remainder of the night.

11:26 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Sierra Avenue and Fifth Street in Hamilton City for a report of a noise. Upon arrival, deputies located loud parties at two locations, and contacted the homeowners at each residence. Both individuals were told of the complaint, and agreed to keep the noise level down for the remainder of the night.

Sunday, June 13:

3:22 a.m., Margaret Payne reported hearing a disturbance in the area of County Roads 45 and P in Willows. Deputies responded to the area and located the confidential victim and a white Dodge pickup. The confidential victim (CV) told deputies that her boyfriend, Joseph Lacroix, allegedly physically assaulted her. The CV said Lacroix left the area on foot prior to the deputies’ arrival. Deputy McIntyre conducted an area check for Lacroix with negative results. Deputy Huichapan initiated an investigation.

4:09 a.m., in the area of County Roads P and 30, Deputy Lourenzo contacted a confidential victim who reported stalking, and an assault that occurred in Olivehurst. An investigation was initiated and a courtesy report was taken, to be forwarded to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office for review.

10:20 a.m., deputies were dispatched to The Last Stand, 414 North Tehama Street, Willows, for a report of man causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the business. Deputies responded and contacted the reported man, Julian Martinez, and noted he displayed the objective symptoms of intoxication. Martinez agreed to submit to PAS test, which allegedly showed he had a .137 percent blood alcohol level. Deputies determined Martinez was too intoxicated to care for the safety of himself and/or others. Subsequently, he was arrested for alleged public intoxication and was to be released once sober.

10:39 a.m., Deputy Goodwin was detailed to the parking lot of Motel 6, 452 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows, for a report of a vehicle collision after a verbal dispute over a room deposit. Deputy Goodwin contacted the involved parties. After an on-scene investigation, it was discovered Timothy Mitzel ov Vallejo was backing up a box truck in the parking lot and accidently backed into Anilkumar Patel’s Toyota Tacoma. Deputy Goodwin mediated the verbal dispute and assisted both parties with exchanging insurance information.

11:13 a.m., a citizen turned over a found wallet to the sheriff’s office. The citizen said it was found in the area of County Roads P and 39. Deputy Goodwin collected the wallet. It contained several cards for a Benigno Jimenez. Deputy Goodwin was unable to locate Jimenez and the wallet was booked as found property.

11:31 a.m., Tiffany Ladine requested to speak with a deputy regarding hearing someone in her attic. Deputies responded to Ladine’s residence at 600 North Humboldt Avenue, apt. #236, Willows, and initiated an on-scene investigation. After further investigation, deputies did not note any suspicious activity at Ladine’s apartment and determined the call for service was unfounded.

1:11 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a man looking into car windows in the 500 block of West Cedar Street, Willows. Upon arrival, deputies conducted an extensive area check and located Nathan John of Elk Creek at North Butte and West Sycamore Streets, matching the description of the reported man. John was told of the report and denied involvement. John was ultimately counseled.

8 p.m., Bobbie Thaxton of Willows called and requested to speak with deputy regarding her mother’s ex-husband, Russell Niewald of Willows, being on the property while they were gone. Deputy McIntyre attempted to contact Thaxton but got a busy signal. A few minutes later, Thaxton called 911, stating Russell Niewald was in front of the residence, yelling at them. Deputy McIntyre responded and contacted Russell Niewald and Norma Niewald. While speaking with Russell Niewald, he was not making much sense. Norma Niewald said she wanted him admonished for trespassing and suspected him of stealing a house key but did not know for sure. Deputy McIntyre told Russell Niewald several times to leave the property but he refused. Deputy McIntyre attempted to take Russell Niewald into custody, but he resisted and was forced to the ground, where he continued to resist. Russell Niewald was handcuffed and transported to the Glenn County jail, where he was booked on charges alleging resisting arrest and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

9:51 p.m., confidential victim reported a domestic violence incident in the 500 block of South Butte Street, Willows,in which Manuel Robles head butted him or her, causing visible injury to his or her head. A records check revealed there was also a served restraining order to prevent domestic violence between the victim and Robles, in which the victim was the protected party. Deputy Lourenzo contacted both parties and took a report. Robles was ultimately arrested on charges alleging domestic violence and violating the restraining order, and was transported and booked into the Glenn County Jail.

Monday, June 14:

12:28 a.m., Lynn Head reported being in a verbal dispute with her husband, Michael Head. Deputies responded to 4222 County Road K in Orland and contacted both parties. Lynn Head told deputies she was upset because Michael Head woke her up. After an on-scene investigation, deputies learned dispute was verbal only. Deputies provided both parties with information and then resolved the issue by mediation and separation.

1:12 a.m., Marilyn Ward requested a deputy respond to her residence due to her 9-year-old granddaughter being defiant. Deputy Huichapan responded to 4254 County Road M, Orland, and contacted both parties. Deputy Huichapan spoke with Ward, who said her granddaughter was cursing at her and stating she no longer wanted to live with her. Deputy Huichapan spoke with the girl, who said she was upset because Ward told her she no longer wanted her at the residence. Deputy Huichapan provided both parties with information regarding their options and was able to resolve the issue through mediation and separation.

4:23 a.m., medics and fire personnel were dispatched to 555 Broadway Avenue in Hamilton City for a report of an unconscious woman who was not breathing. Deputy Huichapan responded and learned fire personnel was on scene. Fire personnel began life-saving measures and were relieved by medics who arrived shortly after. After life-saving measures were performed, Clara Greer was declared deceased. The next of kin, Daniel Greer, was present and notified. Deputy Huichapan initiated a coroner’s investigation. Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary out of Orland responded and removed the decedent.

9:35 a.m., Keith Long of Willows contacted Glenn County Communications to report an attempted vandalism to his vehicle. Deputy Garcia was dispatched and contacted Long, via telephone, as requested. Long reported an unknown suspect attempted to damage the paint to his 2005 Honda, as a piece of cheese with mustard was attached to his door. Long requested the incident be documented and said there was no damage to his vehicle.

10:23 a.m., deputies were dispatched to 133 North Ventura Street, Willows, for a report of a triggered residential alarm. Deputies responded, searched the perimeter of the residence, and did not note any suspicious activity. Deputies determined the alarm activation was a false alarm.

12:23 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of South Butte Street, Willows, for a report of a vehicle collision with no injuries. Deputies responded and contacted the two involved parties, Ramona Marie Petersen of Orland and Travis Lee Butler of Elk Creek. Neither party reported any injuries and agreed to civilly exchange information. Deputies facilitated the information exchange and stood by until no longer needed.

1:43 p.m., an employee of MarVal Foods, 517 South Tehama Street, Willows, contacted Glenn County Communications and reported a shoplift. Deputies responded and contacted the employee at the business. The reporting party said an unknown man riding a bicycle entered the store and stole a candy bar. The reporting party declined to pursue the matter criminally and requested the man be admonished from the business, if contacted. Deputies searched the area for the reported man, but were unable to locate anyone who matched the description.

2:51 p.m., Mariana Lozano called and requested to speak with a deputy regarding a mobile home near her property in Hamilton City. Deputy Lemmon spoke with Lozano on the telephone. Lozano believed the residence was abandoned but noticed transients living inside. Deputy Lemmon had previous calls for the abandoned residence and knew the person inside said they had permission to be there, from the property owner, Jesus Campos. Deputy Lemmon attempted to call Campos again with no success. Lozano was provided with her options.

2:54 p.m., Vladamir Villicana contacted Glenn County Communications and reported a suspicious man at his residence at 608 North Plumas Street, Willows, driving a Nissan Pathfinder. Deputies responded and contacted Richard Vandiver in a Nissan Pathfinder, just north of the reported residence. Vandiver said he met a woman who stated she lived at 608 North Plumas Street. Vandiver was told the woman did not live where she claimed and ultimately was moved along from the area.

3:15 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of West Wood Street and Pacific Avenue, Willows, for a report of a woman walking in and out of traffic. Deputies arrived to the area and found Ruth Word wearing the described clothing. Word was told of the complaint and denied walking into traffic. Word said she would return to her residence for the remainder of the day.

3:50 p.m., Vanessa Mercado of Orland contacted Glenn County Communications to report her wedding ring was lost. Deputy Garcia responded and contacted Mercado, via telephone, as requested. Mercado reported losing her wedding ring near Glenn Medical Center, in Willows, on June 9, as she went for a walk. Mercado requested the incident be documented and estimated her wedding ring’s value at $6,000.

5:21 p.m., Scott Hanson contacted Glenn County Communications and reported his son, Jonathan Hanson, was causing a disturbance and throwing items at their residence in Willows. Deputies responded and contacted both parties. It was determined Jonathan Hanson has lived there for two weeks and Scott wanted him to leave for the night, due to the disturbance. Jonathan ultimately agreed to leave and a voicemail message was left with his parole office regarding the incident.

6:34 p.m., Luis Mercado reported a possible mail theft at 6419 County Road 7 in Orland. Deputy Ramirez responded and contacted Mercado, who said a Hispanic man and woman in a black Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with paper dealer plates had looked through his mailbox. Mercado said the man had a beard and was wearing a hat and the woman had long hair. Mercado did not recognize the two people. Mercado said he followed the pickup and watched the person go through some of the neighboring mailboxes before fleeing the area south on Interstate 5. Mercado said he did not know if anything had been taken from his mailbox. Deputy Ramirez searched the area but was unable to locate the described vehicle.

7:32 p.m., Deputy Ayres was dispatched to a welfare check on a barefoot elderly man with a small dog who appeared disoriented and was having a hard time walking. The deputy’s response was canceled prior to his arrival after the reporting party called back and said the elderly man was seen going into his residence.

7:43 p.m., Deputy Ayres observed two vehicles parked on the street in front of 650 North Butte Street that he did not recognize. The white Mercedes S500 had a rear license plate with no month/year stickers on it and the red SUV was occupied by three people, one of whom Deputy Ayres recognized from prior contacts and believed he had a local warrant for his arrest. Deputy Ayres contacted driver Laothay Ventura-Alvarez of Antioch, front passenger Leslie Leach of Willows, and rear passenger Latsamy Kangmeuang of Orland. Kangmeuang was confirmed to have a local warrant and was taken into custody. Ventura-Alvarez was given a warning for her red SUV having expired registration and warned for it being towed. The white Mercedes S500 was found to be stolen out of the Red Bluff area. The stolen vehicle was recovered and towed from the scene by A+ Towing.

8:13 p.m., a citizen found a cell phone near Willows High School and turned it in to the sheriff’s office. Deputy Ayres located the owner of the cell phone and returned his property to him.

9:08 p.m., the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man, woman, and two children (ages 10 and 7) who were on a boat that had gotten stuck on a gravel bar on the Sacramento River near County Road 29. Due to the circumstances, the sheriff’s office boat patrol unit initiated a nighttime rescue of the family. Deputies successfully located Kenneth and Karen Petcock of Chico with their two children, unharmed at the reported location and it was determined the family had been stuck for a few hours. The boat was secured in place and Deputy Lemmon and Sergeant Draper transported the family back to shore, ultimately providing transportation to their vehicle at the Ord Bend boat ramp.

9:46 p.m., Janet Myers from Butte Home Health and Hospice reported the expected death of hospice care patient Marianne Krantz, 75, of Orland. The decedent entered hospice care on June 11 and was diagnosed with multiple preexisting illnesses. The decedent’s daughter, Elizabeth Krantz, was the decedent`s next of kin and was present at the time of death. Deputy Ramirez contacted Elizabeth Krantz and confirmed she was present with the decedent at the time of her death. The decedent was to be released to Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary of Orland.

11:54 p.m., Deputy Ayres observed a vehicle parked on the wrong side of the road in the 600 block of North Butte Street. The suspect vehicle left southbound from this area towards Green Street. When the deputy passed by this vehicle he recognized the driver as Carmen Garcia and the front passenger had his head tilted down. The deputy turned around and observed the suspect vehicle turn west onto Vine Street, accelerating and then turning down the alley behind the Tobacco Man store. The suspect vehicle drove through the Tobacco Man parking lot and then was seen turning northbound on North Shasta Street, accelerating. The deputy observed the suspect vehicle abruptly pull towards the east shoulder of North Shasta Street in front of a residence, without signaling. The suspect vehicle came to a stop and a man exited the passenger door and ran onto the property, later identified as 454 North Shasta Street. The suspect vehicle fled after this. The deputy observed a man trying to get over the backyard fence and he lost sight of him. Deputy Ayres located this man hiding on the other side of the house. This man was identified as Juan Medina and was known to have a local warrant for his arrest. Medina was arrested and allegedly found to be in possession of a dirk/dagger concealed on his person. Medina was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging resisting or obstructing a peace officer in his duties, a post-release community supervision violation, and possession of a dirk or dagger, and for his felony no bail warrant.

11:59 p.m., deputies were dispatched to an open line 911 call that was placed somewhere near 3942 Highway 99 in Oland. Deputy Ramirez responded and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area and contacted Ana Raygoza. Deputy Ramirez discovered her boyfriend, Dalton Mooney of Orland, had gotten into an argument with her stepfather, Gustavo Molinero of Orland. Raygoza said she attempted to keep Mooney and Molinero separated and was ultimately pushed by Molinero. Raygoza said she did not wish to pursue criminal charges, but requested a welfare check. Raygoza wanted to make sure her mother was safe from Molinero at 3992 Highway 99, unit B. Deputy Ramirez conducted a welfare check and found Raygoza’s mother in good health. Molinero had left the residence after the altercation with Mooney.

Car burns south of Stony Creek bridge

Fire consumed the entire engine compartment of a car Tuesday morning on Highway 99, just south of the Stony Creek bridge.

It appears that between 10:30 and 11 a.m. on June 15, a car was traveling south on Highway 99 when its engine compartment caught fire.

The driver was able to pull into the empty lot in front of Stony Creek Auto Dismantlers, and there she was able to unload many of the items inside the car.

Orland firefighters quickly arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.

Thursday, June 10:

10:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Orland Police Department for a request for a citation sign-off. Officers contacted Milissa Reckley, 30, of Orland, but were unable to sign off the citation.

12:09 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance at 79 Rennat Way. Officers contacted Milissa Reckley, 30, of Orland, and Cindy Miller, 67, of Orland, who had an argument. The matter was settled by mediation and both were advised of civil remedies.

1:04 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a hit and run traffic collision on South Street. Officers contacted Kevin Espino, 33, of Orland, who reported a silver Nissan Maxima collided with his gray 2005 Acura TSX. Espino reported the vehicle fled south on Interstate 5. CHP officers located a similar vehicle and conducted an enforcement stop. Officers contacted the driver, who did not match the suspect description. The driver was interviewed and released and a report was taken.

4:29 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a reckless driver on Walker Street. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any vehicles matching the description.

5:05 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a welfare check on a man screaming. Officers contacted Matthew Fleming, 58, of Orland, who stated he was fine and not in need of assistance.

10:46 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a reported domestic violence disturbance at 112 East Tehama Street. Officers contacted Crystal Aguilar, 24, and her husband, Victor Cardenas, 30, both of Orland. After an on-scene investigation, Cardenas was arrested for alleged misdemeanor domestic violence and public intoxication. Cardenas was transported to the Glenn County Jail and a report was taken.

11:30 p.m., an Orland police officer observed a man stumbling on the roadway on Walker Street. Officers contacted Valentin Gonzalez, 47, of Orland. After an on-scene investigation, Gonzalez was arrested for alleged public intoxication and was transported to the Glenn County Jail.

11:30 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a juvenile fight at the Paigewood Village Apartments. Officers contacted a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy. It was determined that the fight was mutual and the incident was documented.

Friday, June 11:

12:41 p.m, Orland police officers responded to an anonymous report of out of control juveniles at Lely Aquatic Park. Officers contacted two 13-year-old boys, who were issued citations for possession of marijuana. Both were turned over to their guardians.

1:13 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a person lying under a blanket in the alley near Penner’s Auto Service, 528 Fourth Street. Officers contacted the woman, who agreed to move along.

6:37 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a stolen motorcycle. Officers contacted Senen Ocha-Diaz, 27, of Orland, who reported that his gray 2016 Suzuki was stolen from a residence on East Tehama Street sometime after 11 a.m. Friday.

6:39 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of trespassing at the Paigewood Village Apartments. Officers contacted the reporting party, who stated the person left prior to the officer’s arrival. Extra patrol was provided.

6:51 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to contact Christie Amador, 48, of Orland, by telephone regarding an ongoing noise complaint. Officers contacted Amador, who said she spoke with her neighbor and the issue had been resolved.

7:49 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a reckless driver in a white pickup which had exited I-5 onto Newville Road. Officers conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Saturday, June 12:

12:28 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of loud music playing in the area of 330 Meadowood Drive. Officers contacted Alexandria Thorp, 27, of Orland. Officers told Thorp of the complaint and she agreed to keep the music down.

10:57 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a reported burglary at 848 Walker Street. Officers contacted Theresa Spencer, 66, of Orland, who reported that her home had been burglarized.

12:39 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of trespassing at Moe’s Market, 234 Sixth Street. Moe Zokari, 63, reported Julian Martinez, 32, of Orland, was refusing to leave his business. Officers contacted Martinez, who agreed to leave and was issued a trespass admonishment.

2:15 p.m., at the Orland Carwash, 7 Walker Street, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a red 2006 Honda Civic for an equipment violation. The driver, Armando Reyes-Botello, 26, of Hamilton City, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of Sutter County and for alleged possession of methamphetamine.

8:12 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 329 Yolo Street for a reported court order violation. Officers contacted Julian Martinez, 32, of Orland, who was allegedly found to be in violation of a served court order. Martinez was arrested and booked into the Glenn County Jail.

9:46 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of trespassing at 136 Fifth Street. Officers contacted Antonio Casillas, 62, who said he wanted his friend, Irma Soto, 50, to leave his residence. Officers spoke with both parties and determined the issue to be a civil matter. Officers provided Casillas with options regarding the eviction process.

11:19 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a complaint of loud music in the area of 1025 Papst Avenue. Officers contacted the resident and told him of the complaint. The resident said he would be shutting off the music.

11:30 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of an unresponsive woman on the sidewalk on Benson Drive. Officers contacted Marlene Lara, 40, of Orland. After an on-scene investigation, Lara was arrested for alleged public intoxication and was booked into the Glenn County Jail.

Sunday, June 13:

12:02 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a possible gunshot heard in the area of the Orland Manor Apartments, 817 Newport Avenue. Officers conducted a search of the area, which was quiet upon arrival. Officers spoke with a tenant who said they were outside and believed the sound to be a firework. Officers were unable to locate any signs of a firearm being fired or fireworks.

1:49 a.m., officers contacted Mateusz Sasinski, 40, of San Francisco, who was found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Tuolumne County. Sasinski was cited and released for the warrant and provided with a courtesy ride to the Corning area.

3:08 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 724 Second Street for a report of found property. Officers contacted Scott Camper, who said he found personal property in his garbage can. The property was collected by officers and attempts were made to contact the rightful owners, without success. The property was later booked for safekeeping.

9:50 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the Orland Police Department for a child custody exchange. Officers stood by until no longer needed.

12:29 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a man who was yelling and causing a disturbance in the area of 409 Mill Street. Officers contacted Robert Koscki, 33, of Chico, and after a brief investigation he was arrested for alleged violation of probation and public intoxication.

2:42 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a reported burglary at the Orland Mini Storage, 239 East Walker Street. Officers contacted Robert Ackerman, 59, of Orland, who reported his storage unit was burglarized.

3:43 p.m., Orland police officers telephoned Lolita Burd, 53, of Orland, regarding a theft. Officers attempted to contact Burd and left a message.

6 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Paigewood Vilage Apartments for a report of harassment. Officers contacted Todd Ecker, 29, of Willows, who reported he was being harassed and followed. Ecker was provided with information on obtaining a restraining order.
