This lovely item displayed on a shelf at the Town and Country Humane Society may not be moving, but it is actually a living creature. Yes, really. It stayed motionless on a shelf for several minutes while humans invaded its space on Wednesday. Cats, of course, make excellent ornaments for homes. The Town and Country Humane Society shelter is located on Highway 99 between County Roads 21 and 23, south of Orland.
