Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.

Tuesday, March 29:

12:51 a.m., an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop at the Orland Stop and Shop, 10 Walker Street, on a white 2002 Ford Ranger. Bonnie Gochenour, 40, of Orland, was cited for allegedly having an expired driver’s license and defective taillamps.

6:50 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the report of an item in the roadway at Eighth Street at Newville Road, causing a traffic hazard. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate anything in the roadway.

9:48 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a 911 hang-up call from a cell phone at the Orland High School track. Officers found that students were on the track during a PE class. Officers contacted staff members who stated there was no problem or emergency.

11:05 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Walker Street for a report of found narcotics. The narcotics were taken for destruction.

11:20 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the Orland Inn, 1052 South Street, for a report that a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy had located a missing person. Officers contacted Desiree Hopkins, 28, of Orland, who had previously been reported missing. Hopkins stated she was fine and declined assistance. Hopkins was cited and released on two misdemeanor warrants for her arrest from Lake County.

2:23 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the 800 block of East Street for a report of a cold trespass. Sarah Koski, 35, of Orland, reported that in the early morning hours, an unknown person trespassed in her backyard and stole some recycling. Koski requested the incident be documented and was provided with information.

3:55 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 325 Central Street for a report of a woman having difficulty breathing. Officers assisted until no longer needed by medical personnel.

7:45 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 1441 Pine Street to assist the Colusa County Sheriff’s Office regarding a reported missing iPhone owned by Amy Brown, which was pinging to an address in Orland. Officers contacted Elizabeth Stevens, 36, who reported that she found the phone in the parking lot of the Colusa Casino. Officers collected the phone and the owner was advised.

9:29 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 607 A Street for a report of a 911 hang-up. Officers contacted the residents, who stated they called the wrong number.

11:15 p.m., an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on Walker Street at East Street on a white 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Passenger Kristin Pettigrew, 33, of Oroville, was arrested and booked for a Butte County misdemeanor arrest warrant.

11:18 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a verbal disturbance and two semi-trucks blocking the entrance of the Pilot Travel Center, 4444 Commerce Lane. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate any disturbance or vehicles blocking the roadway.

11:51 p.m., Orland police officers assisted Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a report of a man with a gun in the 6400 block of County Road 14.

Wednesday, March 30:

8:51 a.m., Bradley Baugher, 40, of Orland, reported that an unknown person stole his black Cati dump trailer sometime over the night.

3:27 p.m., an Orland police officer observed a black motorcycle with no license plates driving north on Seventh Street, approaching Tehama Street. Richard Martin, 51, of Orland, was cited for allegedly having missing license plates, expired registration, and driving without a motorcycle endorsement.

3:59 p.m., Hannah Reed, 45, of Orland reported an unknown person damaged the door lock to her residence in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

4:07 p.m., Gary Pattison, 41, of Orland, reported an unknown person stole a child’s dirt bike from the property at 27 Mill Street. Pattison was unable to produce paperwork necessary to complete the report and the incident was documented.

8:12 p.m., on Sixth Street at Monterey Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a red 2007 Nissan Altima. Norberto Velasquez-Padilla, 42, of Orland, was issued a citation for allegedly driving while unlicensed, no proof of insurance, and warned for an equipment violation.

10:45 p.m., in the 900 block of Almond Way, an Orland police officer marked a tan 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300 for abatement.

10:50 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a female refusing to leave the business office of the Orland Inn, 1052 South Street. Officers contacted Desiree Hopkins, 28, of Orland, who agreed to return to her room for the remainder of the night.

Thursday, March 31:

12:58 a.m., Dwayne Stafford, 50, of Orland, requested documentation of an argument he had with a family member.

1:22 a.m., in the 800 block of Tehama Street, an Orland police officer issued a parking citation to a green 2021 Freightliner semi-truck for parking off the truck route.

8:13 a.m., Dwayne Stafford, 49, of Orland, requested a civil standby to retrieve personal belongings from 817 Newport Avenue. Officers conducted the civil standby without incident.

9:21 a.m., in the 300 block of Third Street, Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person pacing across the street from the high school. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the person.

10:50 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to Orland Hardware, 820 Fifth Street, a report of a barefoot male who was pacing and looking into vehicles. Officers contacted Jose Marmolejo, 28, of Orland. At the request of the store management, Marmolejo was admonished for trespassing.

12:02 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a physical altercation between two females at 817 Newport Avenue. Officers contacted Patrease Fields, 32, and Desiree Hopkins, 28, both of Orland. After further investigation, both parties declined to press charges against the other and agreed to go their separate ways.

5:05 p.m., on South Street at Papst Avenue, an Orland police officer initiated an enforcement stop on a black 2012 Dodge Avenger for a moving violation. Keeley Jackson, 19, of Chico, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign.

5:27 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Railroad Avenue to check the welfare of Kenneth Prince, 82. Officers contacted Prince, who said he was well and did not require any assistance.

10:09 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Orland Carwash, 7 Walker Street, for a report of vehicles playing loud music at the car wash. Officers found the music had been turned off prior to their arrival.

10:17 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a dark colored sedan driving recklessly on East Street at Walker Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
