Tuesday, Feb. 15:
6:59 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 817 Newport Avenue for a requested welfare check of a child. Officers contacted Mary Hatlan, 36, of Orland, who reported her 15-year-old daughter was being defiant about going to school. Hatlan declined any assistance from the Orland Police Department.
7:12 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to Papst Avenue at East South Street for a report of a suspicious yellow truck with people in the back. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any vehicles matching the description.
11:28 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 1305 Gracelyn Street for a report that Michelle Langmack, 46, of Orland, was acting strange. Officers contacted Langmack, who was evaluated and subsequently arrested and booked for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.
2:01 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 623 Third Street for a report of a theft from a residence. Officers contacted Autumn Smith, 48, who reported her brother, Gable Smith, 43, went into her residence while she was in the hospital and stole items. Officers contacted Gable and Mariah Halvorson, 28. Following an investigation, Gable was arrested and booked on charges alleging burglary, possession of methamphetamine, and violating his parole. Halvorson was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine and violating her felony probation.
2:36 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Sixth Street for a report of a bicycle found behind the former business. Officers located the silver Mongoose mountain bike and secured it as found property.
2:51 p.m., an anonymous person turned in a black phone with blue case that was found at the crosswalk of Thirrd and Walker Streets. The property was returned to the owner.
6:21 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 415 Fifth Street. Officers contacted Javier Garcia Sanchez, 37. Following an investigation, Garcia Sanchez was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication.
8:36 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 510 Fourth Street for a report of an unresponsive man. Officers arrived at scene and found two adult males who appeared to have overdosed on an unknown narcotic. Officers assisted emergency medical personnel with lifesaving measures. An investigation was initiated.
8:55 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Dollar General, 851 Newville Road, for a report of two people calling in, stating people were chasing them. Officers contacted a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy. Following an investigation, the 15-year-old was arrested for possessing an imitation firearm. The 16-year-old was arrested for possession of metal knuckles and providing a false name. Both boys were cited and released to their parents.
Wednesday, Feb. 16:
6:18 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 819 Newport Avenue for a report of an assault. Sheila Shockley, 57, of Orland, alleged that her daughter, Jennifer Shockley, 30, of Orland, assaulted her and fled the area on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate Jennifer.
10:15 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 310 Byron Way for a reported physical disturbance. Angelina Perez, 19, of Orland, alleged she was assaulted by Jonathan Morua, 18, of Artois. Morua fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers and an investigation was initiated.
12:28 p.m., the Orland Police Department received a report of suspected child abuse. An investigation was initiated.
3:10 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the 30 block of East Swift Street for a report of a runaway juvenile. Officers contacted Rocio Mendoza-Calderon, 38, who reported her 14-year-old daughter missing. During the investigation, the girl was located at Sacramento International Airport with Kevin Cruz, 19, from South Carolina. Cruz was arrested for alleged child abduction and booked into the Glenn County Jail.
5:19 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 117 Central Street for a report of a suspicious person at a residence who was looking into the windows and messing with items in the yard. Officers contacted Sharlene Harker, a 58-year-old transient, who was subsequently arrested and booked for alleged prowling and peeping.
8:29 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 607 Sixth Street to check the welfare of a man who was standing in the roadway and was now in front of the business. Officers contacted Steven Lilienthal, 26, of Orland. Following an investigation, Lilienthal was arrested and booked on charges alleging being under the influence of a controlled substance and failing to register as a sex offender.
9:55 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 745 Paigewood Drive for a report of a missing juvenile. Alisa Chambers, 40, of Orland, reported that she had not seen her 12-year-old son for several hours. While officers were searching, the boy returned home and stated he was at a friend’s house. The boy was counselled.
Thursday, Feb. 17:
12:59 a.m., on Seventh Street at Walker Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a bicycle. Kevin Johnson, 33, of Orland, was arrested and booked for alleged violation of post-release community supervistion.
10:05 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of two suspicious males with face tattoos looking into vehicles in the parking lot of Grocery Outlet, 1026 South Street. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the description provided.
2:52 p.m., an anonymous person turned in a California Driver’s License that was found at the park. The license was booked as found property.
Friday, Feb. 18:
5:20 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the Orland Care Pharmacy, 61 East Walker Street, for a report of an alarm activation. Officers found the business to be secured, with no signs of forced entry.
7:01 a.m., Orland police officers responded to South Street at Papst Avenue for a report of a traffic collision between a bicyclist and white 2016 Dodge Charger. Isaiah Wiltse, 22, said he hit a juvenile bicyclist after stopping at stop sign. The 16-year-old bicyclist was transported to Enloe Medical Center in Chico as a precaution.
3:17 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a man who was yelling at the Pilot Travel Center, 4444 Commerce Lane. Officers contacted Michael Klein, 75, of Redding, and Jason Didio, 31, of Arcata. Both said that the incident was verbal only and declined any further assistance.
4:20 p.m., the Orland Police Department was contacted by a public guardian, who notified officers of an assault that occurred in the city limits about 10 days earlier. Information was provided and the incident was documented.
5:11 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 203 East Tehama Street for a cold domestic assault. Paola Parra alleged she was pushed by Sergio Parra Jr earlier in the morning.
7 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Paigewood Village Apartments, 745 Paigewood Drive, for a report of a verbal disturbance. Maria Zuniga, 67, reported her two sons, Benito Zuniga, 43, and Daniel Sanchez, 29, were in a verbal altercation. Both Benito and Daniel had left prior to the arrival of officers. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the brothers.
11:10 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to Round Table Pizza, 302 East Walker Street, for a report of suspicious vehicles in the parking lot. Officers contacted the manager, who stated she and other employees were cleaning up after closing.
Saturday, Feb. 19:
2:34 a.m., Orland police officers responded to assist the California Highway Patrol with the report of a driver who collided with a cow on Highway 99 at County Road 6. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
4:07 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 238 East Yolo Street for a report of a possible overdose. Officers arrived but were unable to contact anybody at the residence. Dispatchers contacted the caller, who stated the person was being self-transported to a hospital.
7:45 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the ampm mini mart, 902 Newville Road, for a report of suspicious circumstances. Michelle Langmack, 46, said an unknown man gave her some marijuana. Langmack disposed of the marijuana prior to arrival of officers.
8:29 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the 90 block of Rennat Way for a report of possible child abuse. Officers contacted a 16-year-old child. Following an evaluation, the child was placed on a mental health hold and transported to meet with mental health staff. The child abuse claims were unfounded.
11:34 a.m., Theresa Desimas requested officers check the welfare on her father, Joe Hipsher, at 203 East Tehama Street. Officers were unable to contact Hipsher, as he was not home.
4:49 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a woman causing a disturbance at 243 East Swift Street. Officers contacted Michelle Langmack, 46, of Orland. Following an evaluation, Langmack was arrested and booked for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Sunday, Feb. 20:
11:42 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 1216 East Street for a report of loud music. The resident was told of the complaint and agreed to turn the music down.
12:10 p.m., an Orland police officer was flagged down by an anonymous citizen regarding a traffic hazard on Walker Street at A Street. Officers contacted Miguel Ramirez, 47, of Long Beach. Following an evaluation, Ramirez was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication.
4:40 p.m., an Orland police officer contacted Gable Smith, 43, outside his mother’s residence at 1117 Eighth Street. Officers stood by while Smith retrieved some of his items from the residence.
6:55 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 1333 Blake Road for a report of a cold hit and run. Miguel Esquivel, 35, of Orland, reported his 2016 Ford F-150 had been struck by an unknown vehicle sometime during the day. Esquivel requested documentation only at this time.
10:31 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Orland Arbor Apartments, 819 Newport Avenue, for a report of an unresponsive female. Officers entered the residence and found the occupant unconscious. Officers began life saving measures until fire and ambulance personnel arrived and took over.
Monday, Feb. 21:
1:10 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 610 Seventh Street for a report of a disturbance between roommates. Officers contacted Casandra Jacoby, 35, and Jessica Martinez, 50, of Orland. Following an investigation, Jacoby was arrested and booked for alleged battery.
9:09 a.m., the Orland Police Department was contacted by Cassandra Jacoby, 35, of Orland, who reported that she believed her roommate may have used her toothbrush to clean the toilet. Jacoby had no evidence of the alleged act and was advised of the eviction and restraining order process.
9:20 a.m., received an anonymous report of graffiti in the 100 block of Bonnie Lane. Officers documented the graffiti and notified the resident.
9:24 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 225 Fifth Street a report of a woman with a head injury. Officers provided assistance until no longer needed.
11:10 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 203 East Tehama Street for a report of threats. Melvin Hipsher, 79, reported his daughter, Michelle Langmack, 46, threatened him. Hipsher requested documentation and he was provided with information regarding restraining orders.
12:35 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 226 East Shasta Street for a theft report. Officers contacted Cyrus Mullen, 59, who alleged Dany Greenlee, 39, stole his Ozark Trail tent and he wanted to pursue charges. Mullen signed a criminal complaint. Officers searched the area for Greenlee but were unable to locate him.
Tuesday, Feb. 22:
9:58 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 226 East Shasta Street for a report of threats. Keim Lim, 56, of Orland, reported his neighbor had threatened to beat him up on Feb. 21. Lim requested that the incident be documented and was provided information on the restraining order process. Officers attempted but were unable to contact the unknown neighbor.
12:50 p.m., on East Street at East Yolo Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a white 2007 Audi Q7. Patricia Villicana, 39, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign and driving without a license in her possession.
1:04 p.m., the Orland Police Department assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a report of an assault at the Shady Oaks Mobile Home Park, 4582 Highway 99. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
1:53 p.m., Cassandra Sarmento, 28, reported she was being harassed by her neighbor at 819 Newville Road regarding barking dogs. Officers provided Sarmento with information and documented the incident at her request.
3:30 p.m., an anonymous person turned in a found wallet. The owner was identified and the wallet was returned.
6:16 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a man talking to himself in the area of 911 Walker Street. Officers contacted Steven Lilienthal, 27, of Orland, who advised he was okay and not in need of police assistance.
9:35 p.m., Orland police officers contacted a man who was yelling and talking to himself outside of the Speedway, 1185 Hoff Way. Following an investigation, Steven Lilienthal, 27, of Orland, was arrested and booked on charges alleging being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a shopping cart.
10:14 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 401 Fifth Street to check the welfare on a neighbor. Officers contacted the neighbor, who was fine and not in need of police assistance.
Wednesday, Feb. 23:
2:44 a.m., an Orland police officer located a vehicle within Lely Aquatic Park during closed hours. Following an investigation, Lashay Conway, 33, of Orland, was arrested and booked on charges alleging possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
4:30 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a burglary alarm at North Valley High School, 220 Roosevelt Avenue. Officers checked the buildings and found them to be secured with no signs of attempted entry.
6:38 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the report of loud music near 832 Woodward Avenue. Officers checked the area and found it quiet.
11:22 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of an abandoned bicycle at the Glenn County Senior Center, 19 Walker Street. Officers collected the bicycle and booked it as found property.
1:39 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of an elderly man who was wandering in traffic in the area of Newville Road at Commerce Lane. Officers contacted Gary Kubowicz, 68, who was stopping cars while asking for handouts. Kubowicz was admonished for interfering with traffic and released.
2 p.m., an Orland police officer located and documented graffiti on the side of the Arbuckle’s Surplus building at 508 Tehama Street.
3:08 p.m., at 424 Monterey Street, an Orland police officer issued a parking citation to a white 2002 Ford Explorer for expired registration.
4:36 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a cellular 911 hang-up in the area of 250 Roosevelt Avenue. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the source.
5:48 p.m., Orland police officers responded to Interstate 5 at Newville Road for a report of a semi truck on fire. Officers assisted the CHP and Orland Fire Department until no longer needed.
7:44 p.m., on East Central Street at Walnut Avenue, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a blue 2002 Volvo S60. Desirae Shoumounejad, 25, of Orland, was cited for allegedly having an expired registration and no proof of insurance. The vehicle was towed and stored by Zips Towing for a registration that has been expired for more than six months.
8:55 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 1610 Almondwood Drive for a report of trespass. Officers contacted Aimee Paya, 39, of Corning, who was told of the complaint and agreed not to come back to the property.
11:50 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the Orlanda Inn Motel, 827 Newville Road, for an anonymous report of a disturbance coming from a motel room. Officers contacted Patrick Joseph Mosier, 50, of Orland, who denied any disturbance. Officers did not observe any circumstances that suggested a disturbance was occurring and the occupants were told of the complaint.
Thursday, Feb. 24:
8:11 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 26 East Tehama Street for a report of a hit and run. Jaimee Tatum, 33, of Orland, reported an unknown vehicle collided with her parked 2009 Chevrolet sedan. Officers later contacted the driver of the other vehicle, Selena Marion, 30, of Orland, who stated she did not realize she collided with the parked Chevy when she was making a U-turn on East Tehama Street. Officers assisted in an information exchange at the request of Tatum.
12:23 p.m., on Walker Street at Third Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a red 2004 Dodge Stratus. Shane Saulnier, 32, of Chico, was cited for alleged expired registration, and was issued a notice that the DMV suspended his license.
3:13 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 340 Woodhaven Drive for a report of a 911 hang-up. Officers contacted the homeowner, who said that her four-year-old son dialed 911 accidentally. The child was counseled.
3:21 p.m., Orland police officers assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a combative person at 6495 County Road 20. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
3:54 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle at El Korita Mexican Restaurant, 304 Sixth Street. Officers conducted an area check and found the vehicle was parked legally.
4:05 p.m., Orland police officers attempted to make contact with Scott Bayles, 39, at 525 Monterey Street. Bayles fled from officers and was apprehended a short distance away. Bayles was arrested and booked for three misdemeanor warrants, one felony warrant out of Glenn County, and charges alleging possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
6:04 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of harassment at 432 First Street. Gary Harris, 59, reported Tyler Tatum, 26, was harassing him and requested that he be counseled. Officers contacted Tatum, who stated he spoke with Harris regarding a previous incident and Harris threatened him. Both parties were provided with information and agreed to keep the peace.
6:39 p.m., Shawn Dabner, 32, of Willows, reported losing his wallet. Dabner called back and stated the wallet was found and requested no further action.
Friday, Feb. 25:
12:50 p.m., in the 400 block of Third Street, an Orland police officer issued a parking citation and towed a gray 2010 Chrysler 300 for abatement.
2:40 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a verbal disturbance at Sav-Mor Foods, 35 East Walker Street. Angela Russell, 25, of Los Molinos, alleged she was threatened by Bernard Curtis, 70, of Chico. Officers contacted both parties and learned Russell confronted Curtis in the parking lot about scamming people. Curtis agreed to leave the area.
4:12 p.m., Roger Powers, 66, of Orland, reported he was sent a check by an unknown woman and when he went to cash it, he was told by the bank it was fraudulent. Powers suffered no loss and requested documentation.
4:50 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 928 Woodward Avenue for a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted Raul Preciado, 45, of Orland. Following an investigation, Preciado was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication.
7:45 p.m., Orland police offers responded to Papst Avenue at South Street for a report of cows in the roadway causing a traffic hazard. Officers were able to return the cows back to their home.
7:51 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of loud music at 153 East Mill Street. Officers contacted the homeowner, who agreed to keep the music down.
Saturday, Feb. 26:
5:31 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm activation at 307 Swift Street. Officers contacted the owner of the business, Kelly Higgins, 54, of Orland, who said the activation was an employee error.
5:50 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a 911 hang-up on Papst Avenue at Yolo Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate anyone needing assistance.
3 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a subject harassing customers at Sav-Mor Foods, 35 East Walker Street. Angela Russell, 25, of Los Molinos, stated she was obtaining signatures for a petition. Russell agreed to leave the area.
Sunday, Feb. 27:
3:18 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 218 East Walker Street for a welfare check. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone needing assistance.
4:59 p.m., Nicolas Guzman, 49, of Orland reported that his ex-wife, Elonda Guzman, 41, came to his residence and yelled at him. Nicolas was provided with information on how to obtain a restraining order and the incident was documented.
Monday, Feb. 28:
1:07 a.m., on Newville Road at Interstate 5, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a silver 2008 Scion TC. Jonathan Torrijos, 21, of Oakland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign.
10:50 a.m., an anonymous person turned in a wallet to the Orland Police Department. The wallet was returned to the owner.
2:03 p.m., an Orland police officer signed off a correctible citation at the Orland Police Department.
8:17 p.m., Orland police officers responded to an alarm activation at Ampla Health, 1211 Cortina Drive. Officers checked the business and found it secure.
9:05 p.m., Orland police officers responded to an open 911 line that pinged to the residence at 714 Carjon Way. Officers contacted Samra Zokari, 31, of Orland, who said the 911 call was accidental. All occupants of the residence declined needing assistance.
11:55 p.m., on Newville Road at Interstate 5, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a silver BMW X3. Trevor Ford, 22, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign.
Tuesday, March 1:
1:44 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of an unlocked door at a closed business. Officers contacted the owner of the Maple Garden restaurant, 729 Fourth Street, who arrived and said he forgot to lock the door. The business owner requested no further assistance.
1:57 p.m., an Orland police officer signed of a correctible citation at the department.
5:32 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 421 Monterey Street for a report of a restraining order violation. Officers contacted Karman Beller, 36, who alleged Tara Bessmer, 36, had violated a restraining order where Bessmer is restrained from contacting Beller. Officers attempted contact with Bessmer but were unsuccessful.
6:04 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 745 Paigewood Drive for a report of a physical altercation. Officers contacted Daniel Sanchez, 28, and Benito Zuniga, 43, both of Orland. Following an investigation, Sanchez was arrested and booked for resisting or obstructing a peace officer. Both parties declined to press charges for the altercation.
7:47 p.m., Orland police officers responded to an alarm activation at 1211 Cortina Drive. Officers checked the business and found it was secured.
9:26 p.m., Megan Triano, 27, of Orland reported her ex-boyfriend, Brian Ross Jr., 27, and his new girlfriend, Brittnie Fonseca, 32, stole a set of wheels and tires from her residence at 240 East Mill Street.
Wednesday, March 2:
1:58 a.m., in the 1200 block of Sixth Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a black Mitsubishi Eclipse. Robert McRorie, 63, of Corning, was warned and released.
6:16 a.m., Orland police officers responded to assist Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a reported burglary at Bambauer Towing, 4295 Highway 99. Officers provided assistance until no longer needed.
9:10 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a trespass issue at Baldwin Minkler Farms, 320 East South Street. Employees reported that it appeared an unknown person was sleeping on the property during the night. Extra patrol was requested.
9:44 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a non-injury traffic collision on Walker Street at Third Street. Falicia Simmons, 31, of Orland, was driving her white 2021 Chevrolet Silverado east on Walker Street, approaching Third Street, when her Chevrolet was struck by a white 1993 USPS postal vehicle driven by Jason Mandville, 38, of Orland. Officers helped both parties exchange information.
4 p.m., Mike Simpkins, 62, of Orland, reported he had not seen James Allen, 63, in several days and believed he was missing. Allen was entered into the Missing and Unidentified Persons System.
5:15 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a possible drunk driver in a Dodge truck in the parking lot at Sav-Mor Foods, 35 East Walker Street. Officers contacted the driver, Larry Hammond, 71, of Orland. Following an investigation, Hammond was arrested and booked on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving while suspended for driving while under the influence.
7:31 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 315 Eighth Street for a report of a reckless driver. Officers contacted Irish McReynolds, 36, who was found to have a misdemeanor warrant. McReynolds was cited and released on the warrant and alleged possession of a methamphetamine pipe.
10:46 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 312 Byron Way for a report of a physical altercation in progress. Officers contacted Brian Cone, 42, and Roezzanna Cone, 38, both of Orland. Following an investigation, Brian Cone was arrested and booked for alleged domestic violence.
Thursday, March 3:
9:13 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to Sav-Mor Foods, 35 East Walker Street, to check the welfare of a man who was reported as unresponsive but breathing in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the parking lot. The person left prior to arrival and an investigative stop was made on Second Street at Walker Street. Officers spoke with Edward Evans, 59, of Orland, who was found to be fine and not in need of any assistance.
10:37 a.m., Orland police officers provided a civil standby at 315 Eighth Street while Matthew Reynolds served 60-day eviction paperwork to Lolita Burd, 54, of Orland.
1:10 p.m., Ryan Brinton, 18, reported John Kinch, 58, had taken items from an outdoor freezer at 130 Fifth Street. Brinton declined to pursue a criminal complaint. Kinch was counselled and given a trespassing admonishment.
Friday, March 4:
3:48 a.m., Jaime Lopez, 37, of Orland, reported her silver 2004 Honda Accord was stolen from the parking lot of SavMor.
8:41 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm at 919 Papst Avenue. Officers contacted Aniah Gibson, who reported she set of the alarm accidentally. Homeowner Julie Phillips was contacted and confirmed Gibson was allowed to be in the residence.
1 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a deceased person at 339 Yolo Street. Officers assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a coroner’s investigation.
1:34 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a traffic collision on private property at Andy’s Butcher Block, 115 Walker Street. Officers contacted Joseph Gilmore, 51, and Shawnee Little, 20, both of Orland. Both parties said they were backing from a parking stall when Gilmore’s gold 2002 Chevrolet Silverado and Little’s black 2016 Ford Explorer collided. There were no injuries and officers assisted both parties exchange information.
3:46 p.m., an Orland police officer signed off a correctable citation at the department.
11:30 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of shots heard in the area of Porter Lane. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate signs of a shooting or anyone needing assistance.
Saturday, March 5:
2:14 a.m., Orland police officers assisted the CHP with a DUI traffic stop on Interstate 5. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
6:53 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 2591 Highway 99 to assist Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a report of a suspicious vehicle, possibly associated with a burglary. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
10:37 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a suspicious person lying in a field near Kinder Circle. Officers contacted a 15-year-old boy who was out for a run and stopped to talk on the phone.
2:15 p.m., Orland police officers responded to an alarm activation at C.K. Price School, 1212 Marin Street. Officers were canceled prior to their arrival.
6:32 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 933 Cortina Drive for a report of children kicking a door and running away. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anybody matching the description.
Sunday, March 6:
4:55 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of loud music at the Orland Manor Apartments, 817 Newport Avenue. Officers checked the area and found it quiet.
9:27 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 65 East Mill Street. Officers assisted the Orland Volunteer Fire Department until no longer needed.
Monday, March 7:
12:31 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 745 Paigewood Drive for a report of a violation of a domestic violence restraining order. Officers contacted Marco Martinez, 27, and Natalie Martinez, 25. Following an investigation, Marco was arrested and booked for alleged domestic violence, violation of a restraining order, and two misdemeanor warrants out of Glenn County.
9:12 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 55 Fair Court for a report of an out of control juvenile. Officers contacted Jessica Raygoza, 31, of Orland, who was provided with information.
5:28 p.m., Brandan Straight, 56, reported he lost his wallet on Sunday and requested documentation.
