Lauren Kelly Holmes-Wright died in a tragic car accident in Willows on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023. Her death comes as a great shock and deep wound and is gravely felt by her family and many who knew her in the community.
She was born November 10,1985 in Paradise, Calif., on Nov. 10, 1985. She was a homemaker and very involved in the Mom’s Club of Orland.
Her loved ones agree, she was a fun, spiritual soul who took on many passions. She loved fishing, camping, going to the snow at the cabin in McCloud, as well as attending family gatherings and the great outdoors.
She attended Real Life Church in Orland.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Holmes-Morehouse; husband Richard Wright; daughters Alyssa, Natalia, Trinity and Ashlee; son Richard; and siblings Kimberly, James, April and Rose. She was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Keith Holmes.
Memorial services are planned for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Real Life Church, 1044 Trinity Street, Orland, CA 95963.
Instead of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to the Real Life Church Children’s Ministries Program.
