Constance “Connie” Louise Way of Stonyford died on Monday, April 15, 2024.
She was born in Lincoln, Neb., on June 20, 1947, the only living child of Robert and Lillian Mae McGraw.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications from the University of California at Berkeley while working part-time for the phone company.
After retiring as a 38-year veteran of Pacific Bell, she worked as a teacher’s assistant for Glenn County Schools, assisting special needs students at Elk Creek High School.
She was a gifted artist, skilled gardener, fantastic mother, and avid fan of college football and the NFL.
She is survived by her two beloved sons, William Robert Way of New York City and Eric Thomas Way of Stonyford.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, William Francis Way, who died in 2015.
