Friday, January 10:
2:30 p.m., Cory Ray Ingle, 35, of Sacramento, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging vehicle theft (a felony), driving while under the influence of alcohol (a misdemeanor), and failure to appear on a felony charge. Bail was set at $40,000. He was taken into custody at the Sacramento County Jail by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
According to a Glenn County Jail media release from almost four years ago, on April 20, 2021, Cory Ray Ingle, then 31, a laborer who lives in Sacramento, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging possession of stolen property (a felony), vehicle theft (a felony), driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (a misdemeanor), and driving while under the influence of alcohol (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $30,000. He was taken into custody on the northbound side of Interstate 5, north of County Road 60, by a California Highway Patrol officer.
According to Glenn County Superior Court records, on April 20, 2021, Cory Ray Ingle was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle (a felony), taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner (a felony), and two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol with a prior (a misdemeanor). On March 9, 2023, Ingle pled not guilty to all of these charges. Then, on April 19, 2023, he pled guilty to taking a vehicle without the consent of the owner, and one count of driving while under the influence with a prior.
On May 19, 2023, Ingles was sentenced to 120 days in the Glenn County Jail, with credit for time already served. He was also sentenced to three years of formal, supervised probation, with an end date of May 19, 2026. Court records indicate that Ingles violated the no-alcohol stipulation of his probation three times in Glenn County, on June 16, 2023, July 19, 2023, and September 15, 2023.
3:32 p.m., Jose Anthony Hernandez, 21, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging public intoxication (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $0. He was taken into custody on Highway 99, north of County Road 33, by a California Highway Patrol officer.
3:34 p.m., Ariel Pantoia, 26, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging causing bodily injury while driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and causing bodily injury while driving while under the influence of alcohol (both felonies). Bail was set at $80,000. He was taken into custody at Highway 99 and County Road 33 by a California Highway Patrol officer.
