A small earthquake struck the South County early Monday evening.

The 3.7 magnitude quake’s epicenter was about 9.2 miles east of Willows.

It had a depth of about 12.9 miles.

It happened at about 7:39 p.m.

One person reported feeling it in Yuba City.

Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.

Wednesday, April 14:

10:22 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 221 East Shasta Street for a report of a scam. Timothy Walker, 46, of Orland, reported he provided his personal information to obtain a cell phone but did not receive it. Walker was provided with information.

11:10 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 221 East Shasta Street for a report of an assault. Tiffany Martin, 30, of Orland, stated her seven-year-old daughter was assaulted by another child at school. The school was notified and Martin requested the incident documented.

6:30 p.m., on Newville Road, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a red Ford Mustang for the driver not wearing a seat belt and the vehicle had expired registration. Officers contacted the driver, Luis Perez, 33, of Orland, who was issued a citation for the alleged violations.

Thursday, April 15:

9:30 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to check the area of the 200 block of East Walker Street for a possible traffic collision. Officers were cancelled prior to arrival. Both parties had exchanged information.

10:30 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a civil standby at 22 East Swift Street. Officers stood by until no longer needed.

3:03 p.m., Joshua Christian, 28, reported Crystal Moutter, 25, of Orland, drove near his house at 518 West Monterey Street, yelling in violation of an emergency protective order. Following an investigation, Moutter was arrested and booked for violating the domestic violence restraining order.

4:49 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to contact Panda Bell, 36, regarding social media. Bell reported Shawn Molleson, 34, had made suspicious comments on Facebook regarding her business at 701 Fourth Street. Officers reviewed the comments and determined there was no crime and provided Bell with options. Officers contacted and counseled Molleson on his comments.

8:59 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to CVS, 869 Newville Road, regarding a trespassing issue. Officers contacted Keith Milner, 27, of Orland, who was admonished for trespassing at the request of the business.

9:38 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 917 Walker Street for a report of a 911 hang-up. Officers contacted several residents in the area who all said that they did not call 911.

Friday, April 16:

1:18 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a burglar alarm sounding at the Burger King restaurant. Officers determined the cause of the alarm was an employee error.

With her son and daughter by her side, Delores L. Brockway (Decker) died at home on Monday, April 12, 2021. She was born on Oct. 19, 1934.

When Delores and her husband moved to Willows in 1958, they had two sons, Jack and Jim. Delores worked at Daughtrey’s Department Store on Tehama Street.

In 1961, Delores had a daughter named Debra. Delores and Don had three businesses at three different locations at different times.

Two of the businesses were Murphy’s Tavern on Tehama Street, and Dee’s Tavern on Butte Street. That’s where she got her nickname, Dee.

During this time, Debra’s dad played music and would play at the bar with some local friends. Then the boys learned to play the guitar and drums, so they played with Don and Delores would get up and sing, “Are You Mine”.

Daughter Debra just loved that song. “They were so awesome,” she recalls.

Delores could do the Jitter Bug better than anyone Debra had ever seen. Delores was involved in pool tournaments and shuffle board tournaments on Friday nights.

Delores would make tacos and everyone would show up because she made the best and she could cook chicken. If you ate it the next day, it was just like she just cooked it.

She would have bean feeds at the bar or parties at the lake with loud music. She always collected the keys to keep anyone from driving home.

She loved fishing, camping, bingo and the casino. But most of all, she loved her whole family.

She also really loved to watch The Ranch, Sling Blade, O Brother Where Are Thou? and Fried Green Tomatoes.

“My Momma, Delores, is my best friend and the best mother anyone could ask for,” her daughter, Debra says. “She was my best friend. I love you, Mama.”

She is survived by her sons, Jim and Jack Decker; daughter Debra Maddox; and more grandchildren and great-grandchildren than you can count. She was preceded in death by her husbands Don Decker and Al Brockway; her parents; her sister; her brother; and two grandchildren.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

The 2021 Orland High School Homecoming Parade took place this afternoon, Friday, April 16. In case you missed it, following are photos of pretty much the entire parade. Enjoy. Tuesday, April 13:

11:19 p.m., at the Glenn County Jail, Gabriel Lopez Baeza, 41, a caretaker who lives in Willows, was found to have a warrant alleging possession of drugs or alcohol in a prison or jail (a felony). Bail was set at $10,000.

3:26 p.m., Calvin Wayne Douglas, 58, a laborer who lives in Chico, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on warrants alleging failure to appear on a felony charge. These warrants were either no-bail warrants or bail was set at zero. He was taken into custody at the Butte County Jail by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

2:38 p.m., Rury Hernandez, 31, a construction worker who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging misdemeanor violation of probation. Bail was set at $12,000. He was taken into custody at 1634 Almondwood Drive, Orland, by a Glenn County probation officer.

5:10 p.m., Crystal Michelle-Leanne Moutter, 25, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging infliction of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant (a felony), and willful cruelty to a child (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $25,000. She was taken into custody in the 1000 block of Trinity Street by an Orland police officer.

3:16 a.m., at the Glenn County Jail, Arba Collon Sullivan, 28, a tree climber who lives in Oakley, was found to have a no-bail warrant out of Contra Costa County alleging theft or extortion of a motor vehicle (a felony). Bail was set at $10,000.

Wednesday, April 14:

11:51 a.m., Lyla Rose Attebury, 32, a store manager who lives in Portland, Ore., was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging possession of a controlled substance, and using or being under the influence of a controlled substance (both misdemeanors). Bail was set at zero. She was taken into custody on Forest Highway 7, west of Plaskett Meadows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Thursday, April 15:

10 a.m., Jonathon Frank Krantz, 50, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and possession of a controlled substance (all felonies). Bail was set at $40,000. He was taken into custody at 6457 County Road 24, Orland, by a GLINTF agent.

5:05 p.m., Crystal Michelle-Leanne Moutter, 25, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $5,000. She was taken into custody at 1004 Trinity Street by an Orland police officer. Moutter was also arrested and booked into the jail at 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13.

Friday, April 9:

9:43 a.m. Alana Garcia of 262 South Plumas Street, Willows, reported Savannah Nelson of the same address allegedly assaulting her. Deputy Ayres contacted both parties, who claimed the other person started it. Neither party wanted to pursue a criminal complaint. Deputy Ayres located drug paraphernalia in a shop that Nelson had been inside of. This item was confiscated and will be destroyed.

9:46 a.m., Art Leonard contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report the Orland First Assembly of God Church grounds, 6268 County Road 12, were vandalized. Deputy Chavez contacted Leonard, who said an unknown suspect drove a car onto the property grounds and left skid marks on the gravel driveway and lawn area. Leonard estimated the cost at $50 to repair the lawn. Leonard was provided information regarding adding cameras and landscaping to prevent people from driving on the church grounds.

11:10 a.m., Patricia Garcia of 600 North Humboldt Avenue, apt. #112, Willows, contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report fraud. Deputy Ayres contacted Garcia, who reported someone stealing over a thousand dollars from her H&R Block debit card. Deputy Ayres initiated an investigation.

11:45 a.m., a man named Kyle reported a person in a blue minivan, overdosing on heroin in the Walmart parking lot. Deputies searched the property, but did not locate the man or the described vehicle. Medics reported a man running from a blue minivan, but no other details were known and the reporting party did not answer on call back.

12:17 p.m., Justin Alastra contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report a possible intoxicated driver at the Burger King in Willows. Deputies responded and contacted the driver of the reported vehicle, Kameron Blow of Gerber, and three passengers in the vehicle. Deputies initiated an investigation. Blow allegedly showed obvious signs of being under the influence of drugs while driving. Blow was ultimately placed under arrest and transported to the Glenn County Jail for allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs. Jose Jimenez of Gerber was cited and released for allegedly possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. April Williams of Gerber was cited and released for a Butte County warrant.

1:48 p.m., a Starbucks employee reported an elderly man sitting at the patio area of Starbucks, 505 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows, saying he is from Nevada and he needed a taxi. Deputy Ayres arrived to find the man had already left on foot. Deputy Ayres checked the area, but the man was not found.

1:58 p.m., Deputy Ayres responded to Glenn Medical Center for a report of possible neglect of a patient from another facility. Deputy Ayres took a report and it will be forwarded to the appropriate department.

2:51 p.m., a child called 911, saying her mother was asleep and she did not know how to wake her up. Deputy Ayres contacted Sarah Unick at 603 South Marshall Avenue, Willows, her teenage daughter and a small child inside the residence. Everyone was fine and it was determined the mother had taken a nap and the child got her cell phone.

3:30 p.m., Xiong Lee of 801 Brennan Place, Willows, was observed by deputies walking into the Cedar Hills apartment complex located at 600 North Humboldt Avenue in Willows. Glenn County Communications said Lee had an outstanding Glenn County warrant. Deputies searched the complex for Lee. He was contacted while walking in front of the complex on Humboldt Avenue and he was ultimately placed under arrest for the warrant. Lee was transported to the Glenn County Jail, and while in the sally port he reportedly said he was in possession of a controlled substance. A small baggie containing large shards of a white crystalline substance was found on Lee’s person. Lee was booked for allegedly being in possession of the controlled substance.

6 p.m., deputies responded to the overpass on West Wood Street and Interstate 5, Willows, regarding a disabled motorist. Deputies met with Caitlyn Cameron of Willows, who already had her vehicle moved. Cameron said her vehicle stopped and didn’t know why. Cameron already had a tow on the way and declined any assistance from law enforcement.

9:26 p.m., an anonymous caller requested a deputy in the 500 block of Fifth Street in Willows for a complaint of loud music. Deputy McIntyre responded and checked the area but was unable to hear any loud music. Music could be heard coming from The Last Stand, as there was a live band playing, but it was not excessively loud in the Fifth Street area. It is unknown if this was the music the anonymous caller was talking about.

10:54 p.m., Javier Sanchez of 575 Sierra Avenue, Hamilton City, reported Manuela Gonzalez was inside the trailer by his house and refusing to leave. Deputy Goodwin responded. Sanchez stated he initially allowed Gonzalez to stay in the trailer for the night. However, Gonzalez started acting strange and he no longer wanted her in the trailer. Deputy Goodwin contacted Gonzalez. There was no apparent damage to the inside of the trailer. Gonzalez was told she was no longer wanted on the property. Gonzalez agreed to move along.

11:20 p.m., Adrienne Konu, 4465 County Road MM, reported she came home and discovered the front passenger door of her mother’s vehicle was wide open. Konu stated the door had been unlocked but closed and neither her mother nor she opened it. Deputy Goodwin contacted Konu, who said nothing was taken from the vehicle and nothing seemed out of place. Konu stated she did see a suspicious older model four-door sedan drive by her house numerous times earlier in the day. Extra patrol was provided throughout the night.

Saturday, April 10:

8:08 a.m., Lorina Fragoso of 1149 Elm Street, Willows, requested to speak to a deputy in regards to a possible violation of a child custody order. Deputy Ramirez contacted Fragoso, who said Billy Galbraith had children in common with her daughter, Casara Worthington-Fragoso. Deputy Ramirez was aware of on-going issues between Galbraith and Worthington-Fragoso. Fragoso said she was the third party in Galbraith’s and her daughter’s child custody orders. Fragoso was scheduled to pick up Galbraith and Worthington-Fragoso’s juvenile daughter. Fragoso alleged Galbraith was refusing to turn over his juvenile daughter for their scheduled visitations. Deputy Ramirez provided Fragoso with information and and contacted Galbraith. All parties were counseled.

9:11 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a disturbance in the parking lot of Walmart, located at 470 North Airport Road in Willows. The caller reported a white man wearing a blue hoodie and a Latina woman were arguing in the parking lot. Deputies responded and searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone who matched the description.

9:59 a.m., Marshal Barris of 443 West Wood Street, Willows, reported ongoing harassment from his neighbor at 443 West Wood Street, unit #6, in Willows. Deputies contacted Barris, who believed James Gardner had been taking photographs of his juvenile daughters. Gardner was contacted and deputies discovered he had ongoing issues with Barris. Gardner said he was taking videos of Barris’s loud vehicles. Both parties said they had made complaints to their property management companies. Both were counseled and provided options to settle their civil disputes.

10:03 a.m., deputies were contacted by an anonymous citizen who reported hearing several shots fired in the area of West Oak and South Butte Streets. The reporting party saw two vehicles leaving the area. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the described vehicles or any shell casings.

11:11 a.m., Renea Tamietti from Willows Care Center, 320 North Crawford Avenue, reported the expected death of comfort care patient Sadie Ferry, 74. The decedent entered comfort care on March 3, 2021, and was diagnosed with multiple preexisting illnesses. The decedent’s daughter, Geniva Potts, was the next of kin and was not present at the time of death. Potts was contacted and told of the decedent’s death. The decedent was to be released to F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary, Willows.

12:17 p.m., deputies responded to the Long Way Home Saloon, 222 West Walnut Street, Willows, for a report of an audible alarm sounding from inside the business. Deputies responded and contacted Kevin Lockwood, an employee of the business. Lockwood said he found the front door of the business open when he arrived. Deputies searched the business, but did not locate anyone inside. Lockwood said nothing appeared to be missing. Lockwood said he would contact the sheriff’s office at a later time if any items were found to be missing.

12:19 p.m., Elizabeth Odnell of Shingletown reported her sister, Angela Lopez, of 7640 Cutler Avenue, Orland (Capay District) harassing her and threatening her. Deputy Ayres contacted Odnell by telephone. Odnell reported Lopez telling her that something bad was going to happen to her sons. Deputy Ayres contacted Odnell at the property. After an on-scene investigation, Lopez was arrested for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.

1:10 p.m., Deputy Ramirez was dispatched to contact Jordan Gumm of Los Molinos in regards to possible child abuse of his 16-month-old daughter. Gumm had picked up the child from her mother, Sherry Padilla, of 1201 West Wood Street, apt. #17, Willows, and found bruising and a rash on her lower body. Gumm took the child to the emergency room at St. Mary’s Hospital and was told by medical staff there was nothing suspicious about the bruising or rash.

2:49 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a disturbance involving 10 to 12 people in front of apt. #152 of the Cedar Hills apartment complex, 600 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows. The anonymous caller believed the disturbance was going to turn into a physical altercation. Deputies arrived and discovered several of the involved parties had left the area. Deputies contacted the remainder of the involved parties and discovered the altercation was verbal only. Deputies located a 16-year-old juvenile on scene with an outstanding Glenn County juvenile warrant. The juvenile was ultimately placed under arrest and turned over to Glenn County probation officers.

3:43 p.m., Deputy Ayres was dispatched to a report of Manuela Gonzalez causing a disturbance in the area of Sierra Avenue and Third Street, Hamilton City. Shortly after this report, the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office received information that a man was following Gonzalez, who had stolen a white Chevy Colorado truck, and a woman may possibly be in the truck who was kidnapped. The reporting party was transferred to CHP. Deputies searched the area, but did not locate the truck or Gonzalez. Deputy Ayres learned that the woman in the truck had been picked up out in the county by her boyfriend and they returned to Hamilton City to wait for law enforcement. The truck was still outstanding. Deputy Ayres was told that CHP was responding to contact the victim and would be handling the investigation. Later, the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a white truck was in the middle of the road in the area of County Roads 39 and P. Deputy Ayres checked the area, but it was gone. The truck was then reported to be abandoned on County Road P near County Road 45. Deputy Ayres went to check the area, but saw Gonzalez walking nort on Road P, south of Road 39. Gonzalez was detained. After an on-scene investigation, Gonzalez was arrested for alleged vehicle theft, kidnapping and sexual battery. Gonzalez was transported and booked into the Glenn County Jail.

7:17 p.m., Deputy McIntyre was dispatched to the area of Sycamore and Villa for a man yelling, “Do it, do it,” possibly coming from the second house north of Sycamore on Villa. Upon arrival, contact was made with several people at the residence, who said the yelling was coming from 175 North Villa Avenue, apt. #2, Willows. Deputy McIntyre contacted Latoya Jackson, who said everything was fine, they were just laughing and talking loud. Jackson said the other people involved left prior to law enforcement’s arrival and she did not need any assistance.

7:47 p.m., Deputy McIntyre was dispatched to the front of the Glenn County Jail as Paula Lerstang of Willows wanted to turn over found property. Upon arrival, contact was made with Lerstang, who turned over a found Netspend debit card that was found at the Willows High School after a youth football game. The debit card was booked into the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office for safekeeping.

7:56 p.m., Maria Cortez of San Antonio, Texas, called the sheriff’s office and requested to speak with a deputy regarding civil issues she was having with family members. Deputy Turner spoke with Cortez, via telephone. She said she was seeking information on evictions, apparently in Hamilton City. Deputy Turner provided Cortez with information pertaining to evictions and referred her to the Willows Self-Help Office.

9:39 p.m., an anonymous caller reported there was a red GMC pickup swerving and unable to maintain its lane on Wood Street at Merrill Avenue in Willows. The caller said the vehicle was last seen pulling into the Chevron off Wood Street. Deputy Goodwin located the vehicle at Chevron. The driver of the vehicle was identified as James Hazlewood of Arizona. Hazlewood was not under the influence and had a valid driver’s license. Hazlewood stated he was looking for an open hotel for the night. He was provided with directions.

9:57 p.m., Deputy McIntyre was dispatched to the Cedar Hills apartment complex, 600 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows, on a report of a disturbance involving 15 to 20 people with subjects attempting to assault Francine Ortega. Upon arrival, contact was with Molly Intavong, who said the people in apt. #263 were yelling and throwing items at their front door. Contact was made with Francine Ortega, who said an unknown Asian male assaulted her by pushing her. Contact was made with Mysty Stephens, who reported the same Asian male brandished a firearm at her. Deputies were unable to obtain a name of the Asian male. After further investigation, it was determined no one wanted to pursue criminal charges and the matter was mediated.

10:05 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a possible domestic violence incident in front of apt. #112 at the Cedar Hills Apartments involving a man and woman, with the man walking west away from the apartment and the woman having a bloody nose. Deputy McIntyre responded and contacted Patricia Garcia, who denied any disturbance or assault took place. There was no one else around the area and there were no signs of an assault.

10:10 p.m., an anonymous person called the sheriff’s office and reported loud music in the area of County Roads 19 and XX. Deputies responded and searched the area, but were unable to locate any loud noises in the area and did not observe any suspicious activity.

11:55 p.m., at Highway 32 and County Road P, Deputy Turner conducted a traffic stop on a blue Mitsubishi for California Vehicle Code violations. Deputy Turner contacted the driver, Will Riveracruz. Deputy Turner explained to Riveracruz the reason for the stop and was later released with a warning.

Sunday, April 11:

12:12 a.m., at the ampm Mini Mart, 902 Newville Road, Orland, Deputy Turner conducted a traffic stop on blue Suzuki Aerio for California Vehicle Code violations in the City of Orland. Deputy Turner contacted the driver, Miseal De Jesus, who was allegedly in possession of open alcohol containers. Orland police officers responded and conducted a driving while under the influence investigation. De Jesus was subsequently placed under arrest by Orland police officers for allegedly driving while under the influence.

4:54 a.m., Deputy McIntyre was dispatched to 1340 West Sycamore Street, apt. #116, Willows, on a report of Judy Edano yelling for help. Upon arrival contact was made with Edano, who said she was fine now and did not need law enforcement assistance.

7:15 a.m., Deputy McIntyre was dispatched to 245 North Shasta Street, Willows, on a report of a suspicious person on the property with a flashlight. The homeowner was not home. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Marco Mura of Ashland, Ore., inside a trailer in the backyard. After further investigation, it was determined that Mura had permission from the homeowner, Joe Ragni, to stay at the residence for the night.

8:23 a.m., deputies were dispatched to several 911 hang-up calls. A child could be heard asking for help, but would not stay on the line. Glenn County Communications said the phone was a disconnected line, but was possibly coming from the residence located at 4501 County Road N in Orland. Deputies responded to the residence. The resident was contacted and said there were no children at the residence. The resident believed the calls may have been coming from Stony Creek, located behind his property. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the caller responsible for the hang-ups.

9:38 a.m., Glenn County deputies responded to the Shady Oaks Trailer Park, 4582 Highway 99, sp. #4, Orland, for a report of a man found deceased in a vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined by Westside Ambulance staff that Henry Gilham, 61, was deceased. Deputies conducted an investigation. The decedent’s next of kin was discovered to be Serena Thompson (daughter). Thompson was not on scene, but was later contacted. Sweet-Olsen Family Mortuary of Orland responded and the decedent was ultimately released into their care.

9:46 a.m., Stephen Pete, 3600 County Road 305, sp. #12, Grindstone Rancheria, requested a child custody dispute pamphlet. Deputy Thompson gave him a pamphlet and Pete indicated he will return it at a later date.

10:14 a.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched to a report of illegal dumping of trash in an alley. Deputy contacted Peter Hershkowitz, of Willows, who reported finding a stack of tires in the alley between Fourth and Fifth Streets, just south of Cherry Street. The items had been left there sometime over the night. Hershkowitz did not have any suspect information at the time and was advised to call back if he observed anything suspicious. Hershkowitz requested extra patrol in the area at night.

11:33 a.m., Deputy Thompson was dispatched for a welfare check on a woman in a blue Ford Explorer, parked in the parking lot of Starbucks, 505 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows. Deputies checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

11:39 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a second-hand report of a disturbance. Deputies responded to the Cedar Hills Apartments, 600 North Humboldt Avenue, Willows, and contacted Amy Heidrich, who reported she had been in an altercation with her ex-boyfriend, Steven Butler. Butler was contacted by deputies shorty after the report. After investigation, Butler was placed under arrest for alleged domestic violence and narcotics-related charges. Butler was transported and booked into the Glenn County Jail.

3:03 p.m., Deputy Ramirez was dispatched to a report of Angelina Lopez trespassing at 7640 Cutler Avenue in Orland. Deputy Ramirez contacted Elizabeth Odneal, the person responsible for the property. Odneal said Lopez was her sister, but did not have permission to be on the property. Lopez had previously been admonished from the property. Odneal said she would be willing to sign a private persons arrest form if Lopez did not agree to leave the property. Deputy Ramirez contacted Lopez, who was counseled and agreed to leave the property. Lopez was provided with a ride to Hamilton City, where she would be waiting for her family to pick her up.

4:49 p.m., deputies were dispatched on a report of an unknown man with a pit bull trespassing in the orchard located at 6971 County Road 12, Orland. The man had long brown hair and was wearing orange pants. Deputies responded and searched the area, but were unable to find the man.

6:04 p.m., an employee at the ampm Mini Mart, 1399 West Wood Street, Willows, reported there was a man outside the store who appeared intoxicated. The employee requested the man be moved along. Deputy Goodwin contacted the man, who was identified as Kenneth Newman of Berry Creek. He was drinking a beer but was not too intoxicated to care for himself. Newman was admonished from the property and agreed to move along.

10:54 p.m., Deputy Turner saw a man walking in the road on West Wood Street near North Murdock Avenue, Willows. Deputy Turner contacted the man, whom he recognized as Everette Maghan of Willows. Maghan allegedly displayed signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Maghan was sweaty and was making uncontrollable body movements. Deputy Turner placed him under arrest for allegedly using or being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was transported to the Glenn County Jail, where he was turned over to jail staff for booking.

11:42 p.m., Zachary McGlaughlin reported seeing three or four suspicious men walking around the Cedar Hills apartment complex in Willows. McGlaughlin stated the men hid behind parked cars when he drove by. Deputies searched the parking lot of Cedar Hills and also conducted a search on foot through the complex, but they were unable to locate the men or any suspicious activity.

Monday, April 12:

3:39 a.m., deputies and Orland police officers responded to 6651 County Road 20, Orland, for a residential alarm activation. Upon arrival, the exterior of the residence was checked and found to be secure. No responsible was available.

7:16 a.m., Rogelio Avalos of 4239 County Road M, Orland, called and reported an issue with his landlord. Deputy Lemmon responded to the residence. Avalos said his landlords, Maria Llamas and Martin Diaz, were at his residence and not allowing him access to buildings on the property. After speaking to all involved parties, deputies found there were no documents regarding the rental property and the buildings which could be accessed. All parties were advised to seek legal assistance regarding the civil process.

8:40 a.m., Butte Home Health & Hospice staff reported the expected death of Delores Brockway, 86, of Willows. Brockway entered hospice care on Nov. 11, 2020, suffering from preexisting illness. Next of kin, Brenda Maddox (daughter), was present at the time of Brockway’s death. The decedent was released to the care and custody of F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary.

8:52 a.m., Deedre Doe of Hamilton City called and requested to speak with a deputy regarding fraud. Deputy Lemmon contacted Doe, who said she had five of her bank accounts accessed and money was fraudulently withdrawn. Doe said the money was used by the “Cash App” application. Doe said she had possession of all her bank cards. She did not give anyone permission to use the cards. She said the approximate amount taken from her bank accounts was $560. Doe contacted her banks and initiated an internal investigation with the fraud departments. She said there were three names attached to the transaction: Kayla (unknown last name), Dylan Swayer, and Eddie Alvera. Doe said she did not know the three people and that she believed they were fraudulent names attached to the “Cash App” application.

9:14 a.m., Deputy Sheldon responded to investigate an assault that occurred in the Glenn County Jail. After an investigation, it was learned inmate Steven Hernandez, Sr., of 2637 Highway 99, Willows, allegedly attempted to assault Correctional Deputy Alberto Vargas, Jr. A report was forwarded to the Glenn County District Attorney’s Office.

9:16 a.m., while processing Joshua Hanson for booking in the Glenn County Jail, Correctional Deputy Richard Reynolds found a counterfeit $20 bill. Hanson reported he received the bill at a casino, but could not identify which casino he received it from. Deputy Sheldon ultimately collected the counterfeit bill and booked it into the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, to be sent to the U.S. Secret Service.

11:30 a.m., Gursewak Singh reported Michelle Urrutia causing a disturbance at the Double EE Market in Hamilton City. Deputy Lemmon responded to the business. Deputy Lemmon found Urrutia had left prior to his arrival. Singh said he wanted Urrutia admonished for trespassing. Deputy Lemmon later located Urrutia and told her of the complaint. Urrutia agreed not to return to the Double EE Market.

12:12 p.m., Denniis Etchieson called and requested a deputy regarding a civil mater. Deputy Lemmon responded to Etchieson’s location and contacted Etchieson, who said he moved off of his property at 6399 County Road 24 about two years prior to this date. Etchieson said he was not welcomed back by his ex-girlfriend, Tammie Phillips. Etchieson said Phillips and he were on the deed of the property together and he spoke with Phillips’ attorney to return and gather his belongings. Etchieson said while he was at the property he noticed a lot of his belongings missing and vandalized. Deputy Lemmon advised Etchieson he would have to take Phillips to court due to not knowing who took his belongings.

12:25 p.m., Patricia Loera of Hamilton City requested to speak with a deputy regarding the theft of Egreat solar motion sensor lights. Deputy Huichapan responded to First 5 Glenn County, 1035 West Wood Street, Willows, and contacted Loera, who told Deputy Huichapan that an unknown person stole two Egreat sensor lights sometime between April 9 through April 12. Loera valued the Egreat lights at about $171. Loera said the suspect also broke into a locked shed, which was secured by a locked chain-link fence. Loera was unsure if anything was taken at the time of the report. Deputy Huichapan requested Loera contact him if property was missing after inventory. Deputy Huichapan conducted a walkthrough and learned the latch on the shed door was broken. Deputy Huichapan did not observe any damage to the chain-link fence or locks.

1:30 p.m., Enloe Hospice reported the expected death of Olivia Quezada, 95, at 701 East Street, Orland, on April 12, 2021. Quezada suffered from pre-existing medical conditions and was entered into hospice on March 13, 2021. Next of kin, Olivia Mezza, was present at the time of death. The decedent was released to the care of Bidwell Chapel Funeral Home in Chico.

1:47 p.m., Steven Stoltenburg (not the Steven Stoltenburg of Artois Feed and Grain, but the one who lives at 6743 County Road 19, Orland), called and requested to speak with a deputy regarding issues with his neighbors. Deputy Lemmon contacted Stoltenburg, who claimed his neighbors’ dogs are continually coming onto his property. Deputy Lemmon contacted animal control and forwarded the information.

4:20 p.m., deputies responded to 932 North Butte Street, Willows, after the property owner, Catina Lyons, reported an unknown woman locked herself inside a travel trailer on the property and refused to leave. Upon arrival, deputies were notified that Angel Bush was inside of the trailer and did not have permission to be there. Bush was given several verbal commands to exit the trailer, but refused to do so. After several minutes, Bush exited the trailer voluntarily. Lyons wished to pursue criminal charges against Bush for trespassing and signed a private person’s arrest form, placing Bush under arrest. While speaking with Bush, Deputy Lourenzo could smell the odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage emitting from her person. A records check revealed Bush was on probation in Glenn County, with search and test stipulations, and was not to consume any alcohol. Bush reportedly admitted to drinking alcohol prior to the deputy’s arrival. A field preliminary alcohol screenint (PAS) test determined Bush was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, and therefore in violation of her probation. Deputy Lourenzo took Bush into custody and transported her to the Glenn County Jail, where she was booked for her charges.

5:28 p.m., Deputy Huichapan was dispatched to 1214 West Wood Street in Willows for the report of an audible alarm activation. Deputy Huichapan responded and found the business to be secure and did not observe anything unusual. Deputy Huichapan determined it was a false alarm.

7:24 p.m., Steven Stoltenberg (again, not the Steven Stoltenburg of Artois Feed and Grain, but the one who lives at 6743 County Road 19, Orland),contacted the sheriff’s office, reporting his neighbor’s dog was on the property and tried to bite him. Deputy Tuma contacted Stoltenberg at his residence. Deputy Tuma found the dog was no longer on the property. Stoltenberg contacted the sheriff’s office later, reporting he had kicked the neighbor’s dog and was going to kill it. Deputy Tuma responded and contacted Stoltenberg, who said a German shepherd attempted to bite him, so he kicked it in the head. Deputy Tuma contacted Stoltenberg’s roommate, Robert Southard, who said none of their neighbors owned a German shepherd. Stoltenberg was advised to contact the sheriff’s office the next time a dog was on his property.

7:32 p.m., Lloyd Hickman of Willows turned in a wallet he found near the laundromat in Willows. Deputy Zarate took possession of wallet and booked it into evidence for safe keeping.

8:10 p.m., Heather Barley contacted the sheriff’s office, reporting red and white caution tape with “Do not enter life hazard” on it, hung at the entrance to her driveway at 5956 County Road 200, Orland. Deputy Tuma responded. Deputy Tuma was aware fire personnel used caution tape to mark the entrance to a vegetation fire earlier in the day and contacted the Orland Fire Department to confirm. Deputy Tuma contacted Barley and told her of the earlier incident. While speaking with Barley, she wished to also report three Amazon packages were stolen last March from her residence. Barley said she was reimbursed and was only requesting documentation and extra patrol.

8:40 p.m., Tina Bush requested to speak to a deputy regarding threats via social media towards her sister, Angel Bush. Deputy Zarate contacted Tina via phone, as she was calling from Shasta County. Tina said Sasha Stephens made a Facebook post about Angel. Tina believed the post was threatening. After further investigation, the post did not meet the criteria for criminal threats. Tina was provided with information.

11:20 p.m., deputies responded to an alarm activation at the Eagles Hall, 128 South Colusa Street in Willows. The building was secured and nothing suspicious was noted.

Tuesday, April 13:

6:31 a.m., Deputy Huichapan was detailed to the area of Lake Elementary School, 4672 County Road N, Orland, for a report of suspicious circumstances. The reporting party told Glenn County Communications there was a white sedan parked in the area with the engine running and someone inside. The reporting party believed the actions were strange and requested an area check. Deputy Huichapan responded and located a white 1996 Honda Accord on County Road N, north of County Road 9. Deputy Huichapan conducted a driver’s side approach and contacted the sole occupant of the vehicle, Shenee Tucker of Medford, Ore., who was asleep behind the wheel. Deputy Huichapan conducted an on-scene investigation and ultimately cited and released Tucker on her promise to appear in court for alleged misdemeanor violations.

8:17 a.m., Deputy Huichapan was detailed to 6579 County Road 22, Orland, for the report of a 911 hang up. Deputy Huichapan contacted John Viau of Orland and Samantha Taylor of Oroville. Both said they were okay and declined law enforcement assistance. Viau told Deputy Huichapan he accidentally called 911 to ask a non-law enforcement-related question. Deputy Huichapan determined no emergency occurred and law enforcement assistance was not needed.

3:29 p.m., Shirley Rodriguez contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report her greenhouse had been vandalized. Deputy Chavez contacted Rodriguez, who said sometime the night before, someone came onto her property at 4582 Highway 99, Orland, and broke part of her greenhouse. The residence does not have cameras and no suspect was seen. Rodriguez estimated the cost to repair at $100.

5:16 p.m., Deputy Lourenzo responded to the area of West Wood Street and North Tehama Street in Willows for a report of a silver Toyota SUV recklessly driving at high rates of speed. Deputies searched the area for the vehicle, but were ultimately unable to locate any vehicles matching the provided description.

5:26 p.m., Misty Corriea requested a deputy respond to 4170 County Road L, Orland, and counsel an out of control juvenile. Deputy Huichapan responded and contacted the involved parties. Deputy Huichapan spoke with the child and was able to mediate the situation. Deputy Huichapan provided Corriea with information regarding her options.

9:15 p.m., Dorothy Peck requested a property check at 6490 County Road 7 in Orland after she received a call from a neighbor stating there were two suspicious vehicles near the property. Deputies responded and conducted a property check. Nothing suspicious was noted.

Wednesday, April 14:

2:59 a.m., Deputy Thompson and members of the Glenn County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue responded to Forest Highway 7 in the Mendocino National Forest for a report of a lost or stranded motorist. Members contacted Layla Attebury along with her vehicle stuck in the snow. Attebury displayed objective signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. After investigation, Attebury was arrested for alleged narcotics-related charges and her vehicle was towed for storage by L&T Towing.

8:09 a.m., Deputy Alves was dispatched to contact Judith Edano at 1340 West Sycamore, apt. #116, Willows, regarding the theft of an electric scooter charger. Upon arrival, Edano alleged Bradley Michaud had taken her charger and was hiding in her attic. She told him to leave it on her patio and he probably left the attic when he saw the deputy arrive. Deputy Alves checked the area for Michaud but he was not located.

9:28 a.m., Deputy Alves was dispatched to contact David Stewart at 211 North Crawford regarding a civil issue he was having with his neighbor, Holly Mason. Upon arrival, contact was made with Stewart and Mason and they both were provided with their options.

5:02 p.m., Susan Taylor requested to speak with a deputy regarding multiple travel trailers parked next to her property on County Road 27, Orland. Deputy Lourenzo contacted Taylor via telephone, per her request, and spoke with her about the matter. Taylor said numerous people were staying in the trailers during the day, exhibiting bizarre behavior, and had been parked at the location for about one week. Taylor requested the incident be documented and requested extra patrol in the area.

6:04 p.m., deputies responded to 3086 Highway 99, Artois, after Linda Kelly reported a black van was parked in front of an unoccupied residence. Glenn County Communications contacted the owner of the residence, James Brubaker, who said no one should be on the property. Deputies responded, located the reported vehicle on the property, and contacted a man, Mark Daniels, outside of the residence. Deputies initiated an on-scene investigation and discovered Daniels had driven his friend, Julia Langworthy, to retrieve personal belongings from the residence. Deputies searched the property and were unable to locate Langworthy. Subsequently, Daniels was moved along and admonished from the property, per Brubaker’s request. Brubaker requested extra patrol in the area.

7 p.m., Misty Corriea contacted Glenn County Communications to report her 10-year-old foster child was being disobedient. Deputy Garcia contacted both involved parties at their residence, 4170 County Road L, Orland. After further investigation, it was determined the incident was a family matter and Corriea was provided with options.

7:10 p.m., Ian Ayres contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report an argument. Deputies contacted Octavio Vazquez and Ramon Vazquez, of Hamilton City. After speaking with both parties, it was determined the disturbance was only verbal. Both parties were counseled and provided information regarding the eviction process.

7:29 p.m., an anonymous caller contacted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to report two men were harassing people who walked by a residence near Alexandria Park in northwest Orland. Deputies responded. Deputies were told the men had left the area in a silver vehicle. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Capay District – A little more is known now than before regarding Saturday’s crash on County Road 9 at First Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at about 3:15 p.m. on April 10, a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was traveling east – not west as previously stated on The Observer’s website ‑ on County Road 9 at First Avenue.

The driver, now identified as Martin Castellon-Delgado, 32, of Orland (according to the CHP) or 851 Pomona Avenue, Chico (according to the Glenn County Jail), stated that another driver, traveling westbound, came into his lane, so he swerved to avoid a collision.

Castellon-Delgado ran off the road and hit a ditch and his vehicle came to rest on its passenger side. As reported in The Observer on Saturday, the pickup was initially blocking both lanes of County Road 9, but a mechanic’s truck arrived and pulled the Dodge onto its wheels so that it was blocking only the eastbound lane of Road 9.

The Capay Fire Department was dispatched to the scene, but Castellon-Delgado was not injured so the volunteers were soon canceled.

At some point, Pablo Castellon-Delgado, 31, of 755 Humboldt Avenue, Chico, arrived at the scene, driving a GMC Yukon. It is still unclear what involvement, if any, Pablo Castellon-Delgado had in the accident.

Nevertheless, both Castellon-Delgados underwent field sobriety tests, which, apparently, they both failed. Both men were booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and driving while under the influence of alcohol (both misdemeanors).

The bail for each man was set at $10,000.

Friday, April 9:

9:38 a.m., Neil Kumar, 32, reported an unknown man has been harassing the business at 707 South Street over some tires. Kumar was advised by an Orland police officer of his options.

11:59 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a loud music complaint at 532 Fourth Street. Officers spoke to the employees and they agreed to turn down the music. Officers were called back a second time and they spoke to Travis Butler, 33, of Orland. Butler was told of the complaint and possible consequences of failing to comply.

12:48 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person at Lely Aquatic Park. Officers contacted Steven Stoltenberg (not the Steven Stoltenberg from Artois Feed and Grain), 54, who agreed to leave and go home.

2:40 p.m., on Linwood Drive, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a gray 2013 Dodge Avenger. Asuncion Mancilla, 42, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign, failure to have registration in the vehicle, and no proof of insurance.

4:19 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the Orlanda Inn, 827 Newville Road. Dylon Wagoner, 27, reported Nicole Smith, 67, was harassing him. Both parties were told to leave each other alone and given their options on obtaining restraining orders.

5:12 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 817 Newport Avenue for a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted Angelica Madrid, 25, and Christopher Hobbs, 42, both of Orland. After an investigation, Madrid was arrested and booked for alleged domestic violence.

6:09 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the 100 block of South Street for a report of an intoxicated man lying in the roadway. Officers contacted John Noakes, 47, of Black Canyon City, Arizona. Following an evaluation, Noakes was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication.

7 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to Fifth Street for a report of a juvenile who left the residence. Officers contacted a 12-year-old girl and a 49-year-old woman. The girl was counseled on her behavior and returned home.

8:13 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a reckless driver in the area of Trinity and Sixth Streets. Officers located and stopped a white 1992 Chevy Silverado. Following an investigation, Jairo Rodriguez-Garcia, 30, of Orland was arrested and booked for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol.

8:29 p.m., Orland police officers responded to Fifth Street for a report of a juvenile causing a disturbance. Officers contacted a 12-year-old girl and a 49-year-old woman (see 7 p.m. log item, above). Following an evaluation, the girl was detained for mental health evaluation and transported to Glenn Medical Center.

10:43 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a juveniles causing a disturbance at the Rancho de Soto Apartments, 1003 Newport Avenue. Officers contacted Maria DeLa Torre, 39, of Orland, who said her children were misbehaving and requested they be counseled. Officers counseled the children on their behavior.

Saturday, April 10:

6:10 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of Steven Stoltenberg (again, not the Steven Stoltenberg from Artois Feed and Grain), 54, loitering in front of Sav-Mor Market, 35 East Walker Street. Officers contacted Stoltenberg and told him of the complaint. He agreed to leave.

8:26 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a man walking in the roadway near Lely Aquatic Park. Officers contacted Steven Stoltenberg (once again, not the Steven Stoltenberg from Artois Feed and Grain), 54, who was counseled.

9:15 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of vehicles blocking the roadway at Dutch Brothers, 904 Newville Road. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any vehicles blocking the road or entrance to the business.

9:25 a.m., the Orland Police Department contacted Alfredo Hernandez, 32, of Chico, regarding a child custody issue. Information was provided.

4:18 p.m., in the 200 block of East Walker Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a silver 2015 Ford Focus. Ali Ustun, 27, of Redwood City, was cited for allegedly speeding.

7:31 p.m., at 508 Tehama Street, Orland police officers contacted Darell Thomas, 56, of Oroville. Following an evaluation, Thomas was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication.

Sunday, April 11:

12:12 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a Glenn County Sheriff’s Office traffic stop at the ampm, 902 Newville Road, for a possible intoxicated driver. Following an evaluation, Misael DeJesus, 24, of Hamilton City, was arrested and booked for allegedly driving while under the influence.

8:09 a.m., Kerwin Grizey, 62, of Orland reported somebody moved some of his of gravel and made speed bumps in the alley at 231 East Yolo Street. Grizey wanted to let Orland police officers know that he didn’t make the speed bumps.

11:33 a.m., on Woodward Avenue at Bryant Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a white 2004 Dodge Durango. Jesenia Sanchez, 30, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign.

11:49 a.m., on Woodward Avenue at Bryant Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a tan 2014 Ford F150. Shane Burreson, 48, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign.

3:04 p.m., on East Walker Street at Linwood Drive, an Orland police officer attempted a traffic stop on a white 2006 Ford F150 for a speeding violation. The Ford failed to yield to emergency lights and continued driving east on Highway 32, then finally yielded east of Sixth Avenue. Bernadette Sanchez, 57, of Orland was cited for allegedly exceeding 55 miles per hour, failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, and no proof of insurance.

7:50 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a verbal disturbance at 240 East Mill Street. Officers contacted Alexis Perez, 18, Megan Triano, 26, and Edgar Ulloa-Jimenez, 20, all of Orland. Following an investigation, all three were arrested and booked for possession of inhalants and child endangerment.

Monday, April 12:

4:02 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a possible disturbance at the Pilot Travel Center, 4444 Commerce Lane. Officers contacted Keith Henry, 59, of Redding, who said that there was no disturbance, and he did not need any assistance. Henry agreed to leave the property.

7:30 a.m., the Orland Police Department was contacted by a person who found a license plate in the roadway. The license plate was booked into evidence, to be returned to DMV.

1:43 p.m., an Orland police officer contacted Michael Conrad, 23, regarding a cold traffic collision. Conrad stated that on April 5, someone backed into his 2020 Chevrolet Traverse in the parking lot of FirstCare Medical Associates, 750 East Walker Street.

3:30 p.m., Kavi Ram, 24, reported a silver and black 2008 U-Haul car trailer was stolen from the Sportsman’s Market, 6378 County Road 200, on March 20.

4 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of trespass at the Paigewood Village Apartments, 745 Paigewood Drive. Officers contacted two children, who were admonished for trespassing and moved along.

4:24 p.m., Orland police officers responded to an anonymous report that a man in a white Volvo with Oregon plates pointed a handgun into the air. Officers checked the area on Sixth Street at Walker Street but were unable to locate the vehicle.

4:30 p.m., at the Speedway gas station at 1021 South Street, the Orland Police Department contacted Jonathan Riley, 38, of Fairfield, who stated he was receiving threatening messages from an unknown person. Riley was provided with information and the incident was documented.

5:22 p.m., Orland police officers received a report of a toddler who was found wandering the Paigewood apartment complex and the reporting party did not know who the parents were. Officers found the parents and learned the toddler had wandered out through the back patio of their apartment. The child was okay and returned to the parents.

5:40 p.m., at 131 East Walker Street, an Orland police officer made an enforcement stop on a gray 2013 Honda Accord. Monica Soto, 36, of Orland was cited for allegedly using a cell phone while driving.

6:01 p.m., on Eighth Street at Tehama Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a silver 2003 Infinity G35. Daniel Torres, 21, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign.

7:05 p.m., Orland police officers responded to75 East Walker Street for a report of a burglary alarm. Officers checked the business but did not locate any signs of forced entry.

Tuesday, April 13:

8:16 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of vandalism. Officers contacted Orland Unit Water Users employees, who reported vandalism to an irrigation gate. Officers located graffiti on the gate.

4:26 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a domestic violence incident at 518 West Monterey Street. Following an investigation, Crystal Michelle-Leanne, 25, of Orland, was arrested and booked for alleged domestic battery.

5:01 p.m., the Orland Police Department received a report of a possible domestic dispute in a moving vehicle near South and Fairview Streets. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the described vehicle.

12:25 a.m., on Walker Street at Eighth Street, an Orland police officer observed a man and woman arguing. Officers contacted Corrie Nunes, 41, and William Dillon, 40, from Modesto. Both parties stated it was an argument only. They were counseled and agreed to leave.

1:19 a.m., an Orland police officer observed an open gate to a closed business (Scotty’s Electric Motor Repair, 805 East Walker Street), along with an open door. Officers searched the building but found nothing suspicious. Officers were unable to contact the business owner and secured the building.

8:47 a.m., Michael Anthony Deniz, 24, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging possession of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor), and warrants alleging failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. Total bail was set at $20,000. He was taken into custody at 311 North Butte Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

10:09 a.m., Joseph Raywyne Broussard, 40, a painter who lives in Gerber, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony violation of probation. Bail was set at $20,000. He was taken into custody at the Glenn County Probation Department, Willows, by a probation officer.

2:06 p.m., Thomas Michael Butler, 26, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a court remand with charges alleging misdemeanor violation of probation. Bail was set at $5,000. He was taken into custody at the jail by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

2:15 p.m., Zachary Miles Davis, 33, a laborer who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony violation of probation, and a warrant alleging the same. Total bail was set at $70,000. He was taken into custody at 620 West Oak Street, Willows, by a Glenn County probation officer.

10:52 p.m., Jessica Nichole Benson, 38, a dog groomer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm) with great bodily injury likely, and infliction of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant (both felonies). Bail was set at $50,000. She was taken into custody at 822 Third Street by an Orland police officer.

11:46 p.m., Maria Lena Ibarra, 30, an office technician who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and driving while under the influence of alcohol (both misdemeanors). Bail was set at $10,000. She was taken into custody on West Wood Street, west of Interstate 5, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.

Friday, April 9:

10 a.m., James Philip Thomas, 32, a landscaper who lives in Willows, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a court remand for charges alleging sodomy (a felony), resisting or obstructing a public service officer (a misdemeanor), sexual battery (a felony), felony violation of probation, and failure to register as a sex offender (a felony). Bail was set at $110,000. He was taken into custody at the Willows branch of the Glenn County Superior Court by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
