Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.

Tuesday, April 27:

9:22 a.m., Orland police officers responded to North Valley High School, 250 Roosevelt Avenue, for a report of an assault. Officers contacted the principal, who reported a student was assaulted. Officers were unable to locate and contact the involved parties.

11:31 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a child custody issue. Officers contacted Monica Hammond, 32, and Sean Forrester, 40, both of Orland. Officers provided both with their legal options.

2:42 p.m., Karandeep Kaur, 21, reported her mother’s white 2018 Toyota Camry was struck in the 1000 block of Date Street by an unknown vehicle on April 19. The incident was documented.

3:09 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a hit and run on Bryant Street at County Road M 1/2. Officers contacted James Blair, 56, of Orland, who reported an orange Rental Guys truck and trailer hit the guard rail on County Road M 1/2.

3:38 p.m., Ken Molen, 56, of Orland, reported his brother caused damage to his vehicle while pushing it. The incident was documented.

6:07 p.m., Orland police officers assisted with a report of a reckless driver on County Road K at County Road 18. Officers remained until no longer needed.

7:15 p.m., Orland police officers received a report of a possible domestic disturbance in the area of 819 Newport Avenue. Officers contacted the residents and determined the argument had been verbal only.

9:21 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 514 Fourth Street for a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted Julissa Trenado, 35, who reported her ex-husband, Bernabe Cruz, 32, allegedly violated a domestic violence restraining order. He left prior to officers’ arrival.

9:55 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Officers contacted Celia Garza, 34, who alleged she was assaulted by her boyfriend, Juan Herrera, 39. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate Herrera.

Wednesday, April 28:

12:47 a.m., Orland police officers received a report of a 911 hang-up at 246 East Colusa Street. Officers contacted the resident, who was in no need of police or medical services. The call was determined to be a misdial.

5:27 a.m., Orland police officers assisted the CHP with a traffic collision on Highway 32 at County Road N. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

8:23 a.m., Jose Isabel Montelongo Barrios, 43, of Orland, reported he had lost his Matricula Consular of Mexico a year ago somewhere in Corning.

8:30 a.m., Orland police officers responded to an alarm activation at the Redding Bank of Commerce, 328 Walker Street. Officers contacted the manager, who said the alarm was accidentally activated by an employee.

10:30 a.m., Orland police officers received a cross report from the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office regarding fraudulent checks cashed in the City of Orland.

11:06 a.m., Christie Amador, 48, reported someone almost collided with her this (Wednesday) morning when she was taking granddaughter to school. Extra patrol was provided.

11:14 a.m., Dee Tracy, 66, of 731 East Walker Street, Orland, reported someone siphoned gas from her vehicle sometime last night. The incident was documented and extra patrol was provided.

2:21 p.m., Thakhamphou Thongsouk, 28, reported La Bokeo, 40, had arrived at their residence at 707 Peach Circle and refused to leave. Bokeo was admonished for alleged trespassing and left the property.

3:07 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of an ongoing trespass issue at 707 Peach Circle. Officers contacted La Bokeo, 40, who had returned to the property. Bokeo was arrested and booked for alleged trespassing.

5:15 p.m., Rosa Zapata, 34, reported someone stole a diaper bag from her unlocked vehicle at the Paigewood Village Apartments, 745 Paigewood Drive.

6:23 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 707 Peach Circle for a report of a woman refusing to leave a residence. Officers contacted Thakhamphou Thongsouk, 28, who reported La Bokeo, 40, had returned to their residence and refused to leave. Bokeo was again arrested and booked for alleged trespassing.

7:27 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 901 Harryman Street to check the welfare of Robyn Pio, 25. Officers contacted Pio, who declined any assistance.

8:04 p.m., Orland police officers assisted the CHP and Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a calf out on the roadway on County Road 16, west of Interstate 5. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

9:39 p.m., Orland police officers assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a telephone call to 6249 County Road 15 until no longer needed.

10:41 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Orland Vision Center, 203 Walker Street. Officers located an open door and searched the building. An employee arrived and confirmed nothing appeared tampered with.

Thursday, April 29:

12:15 a.m., on Fourth Street at Monterey Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a white 1998 Honda Civic. Crystal Rothgery, 31, of Corning, was arrested and booked for two alleged felony warrants and two misdemeanor warrants out of Glenn County, along with an alleged false license plate.

9:34 a.m., Aaron Murphy, 42, of Orland, reported he lost his wallet. and his credit card had been fraudulently used at local businesses.

10:33 a.m., Linda Lapoint, 71, of Orland, reported that last night someone stole the catalytic converter from her vehicle at 819 Newport Avenue.

12:49 p.m., Vanessa Navarro, 24, of Orland, reported that last night someone stole the catalytic converter from her vehicle 1117 Eighth Street.

1 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to Orland High School, 101 Shasta Street, to meet with administration regarding a 14-year-old student who admitted to recently selling concentrated cannabis on school grounds. The student did not have any contraband and was counseled. School administration is handling the incident.

3:08 p.m., Joe Everest turned in to the Orland Police Department, 817 Fourth Street, a gray Razor scooter he found. The item was booked as found property.

4:28 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 223 East Mill Street check the welfare of a 16-year-old. Officers contacted the child, who was okay, and provided resource information.

7:16 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a distraught woman looking for something in the Grocery Outlet parking lot, 1026 South Street. Officers contacted Elaine Howard, 71, of Orland, who said she was looking for her dog. Dispatch confirmed a non-citable Glenn County misdemeanor warrant for Howard. She was arrested and booked on the warrant.

8:20 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious man in the area of Orland Bowl, 507 Monterey Street. Officers contacted William Dillon, 40, of Modesto. Following an evaluation, Dillon was arrested and booked for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance.

11:59 p.m., on East Street at Yolo Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic stop on a red 2020 Toyota Camry. Angelina Ponce, 23, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign.

Friday, April 30:

5:45 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of two semi-trucks involved in a traffic collision in the parking lot of Pilot, 4444 Commerce Lane. Officers assisted the two drivers exchange information.

6:01 a.m., Dollar General employees reported Krishnakant Ramdas, 32, allegedly stole two packs of cigarettes from the business at 851 Newville Road. Management requested a criminal complaint on Ramdas. Officers were unable to find him.

6:31 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a burglar alarm activation at 203 Walker Street. Officers determined the alarm was set off by accident.
