Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.

Friday, April 30:

9:40 a.m., on East Colusa Street at East Street, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a red 2001 Mazda Protégé. Ryley Nelson, 18, of Orland was cited for driving while unlicensed, no proof of insurance and for possession of marijuana.

10:06 a.m., at 423 East Street, Danielle Leal, 29, of Corning, reported Tiffany Gonzalez, 28, of Orland, was refusing to give her back her property. Officers mediated and helped resolve the matter.

12:13 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched for a possible gun found in the canal along Roosevelt Avenue. Officers responded and determined that the gun was a plastic toy.

12:34 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a hit and run in the parking lot of Grocery Outlet, 1026 South Street. Jack Cook, 59, of Butte City, said an unknown person hit his parked car. Due to no suspect information, Cook was advised to contact his insurance.

1 p.m., on Walker Street at First Street, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a 2000 Mercedes 320. Jessie Corpus, 64, of Orland, was cited for alleged expired license, no insurance, and expired registration.

3:58 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to telephone Roger Powers, 65, of Orland, regarding a scam. Powers reported a female talked him into buying gift cards to be used to purchase BIT Coin. Powers realized it was a scam too late and wanted to alert others.

5:40 p.m., at the I-5 Café, 1165 Hoff Way, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a red Toyota Rav 4. Following an evaluation, Michael Head, 64, of Orland was arrested and booked for alleged DUI.

6:05 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 226 East Shasta Street for a report of a 911 hang-up. Officers contacted Lashay Conway, 32, who reported being assaulted by her child’s father, Octavio Lamos, 33. Lamos was gone on arrival, a report was taken.

6:42 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a non-injury traffic collision in the parking lot of the Pilot Travel Center, 4444 Commerce Lane. Officers arrived and found the drivers had already exchanged information, as required.

7 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a suspicious person. Officers contacted Roger Meza, 50, of Oakland, who said he was working in Orland and was spending his day off at Lely Aquatic Park, 975 East South Street. Meza was told of the complaint.

7:01 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of loud music in the area of 149 East Mill Street. Officers contacted the homeowner, who agreed to keep the music down.

8:43 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to check the 200 block of East Tehama Street for what sounded like a child crying for his or her father. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the reported sounds or anything suspicious.

8:53 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a vehicle driving recklessly in the 300 block of Stanton Way. Officers contacted Jorge Gomez, 35. Gomez advised he was having issues with his brakes. Gomez was counseled on his driving.

9:06 p.m., on Walker Street at A Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a black 2005 Nissan Titan. The 17-year-old female driver was cited for allegedly driving while unlicensed. She was given a warning for a headlight violation.

9:19 p.m., on Newville Road, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a tan 2008 Ford Fusion. Following an evaluation, Jared Reusser, 38, of Willows was arrested and booked for allegedly driving while under the influence and four misdemeanor Glenn County bench warrants.

10:26 p.m., Orland police officers were contacted by Oliva Lopez, 29, of Hamilton City, who reported that her 12-year-old son was involved in a physical altercation earlier this evening.

11:30 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a 911 hang-up at the Speedway at 1185 Hoff Way. Officers contacted Rita Lopez, 33, and Cererino Curenio, 57. Lopez said that she called 911 because she needed a ride to Chico. Lopez was told not to call 911 for a ride.

Saturday, May 1:

1:39 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a burglar alarm activation at the Orland Veterinary Hospital, 1137 Eighth Street. The alarm company canceled the response prior to the officers’ arrival.

1:04 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched for report of two people in a van at Library Park, smoking a controlled substance. Officers contacted Richard Hicks, 50, and Jennifer Bracewell, 46, both of Orland. They were counseled and advised of the complaint.

6:07 p.m., Joshua Christian, 28, reported petty theft from his residence at 518 Monterey Street. After a brief investigation, it was determined that the incident was civil in nature. Christian was provided with information and the incident was documented.

7 p.m., on Walker Street at Fourth Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a maroon 2012 Ford Edge. Rafael Ramirez, 56, of Orland, was cited for allegedly talking on his cell phone while driving and no proof of insurance.

8:02 p.m., at the Orlanda Inn at 827 Newville Road, Nicole Smith, 67, of Orland, reported her tire went flat while driving on I-5 and believed it was because her neighbor slashed her tire. Officers found no evidence of vandalism and documented the incident.

9:12 p.m., Orland police officers responded to assist Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a reported domestic disturbance at 4684 Sixth Avenue. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

10:20 p.m., Orland police officers responded to1631 Railroad Avenue for a report of a man suffering from an unknown medical problem. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

10:45 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of an unconscious woman with CPR in progress at the Black Butte Mobile Home Park, 6386 County Road 200. Officers arrived on scene and began CPR until the arrival of fire and ambulance personnel. The woman was later pronounced deceased and the scene was turned over to the Glenn County Sheriff/Coroner.

Sunday, May 2:

1:18 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 745 Paigewood Drive. Officers contacted Christiana Fisher, 38, of Orland, who alleged being assaulted by her husband, Stephen Fisher, 33, who fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

1:50 a.m., on Newville Road at Interstate 5, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a silver Honda Accord. Officers contacted the 15-year-old driver and found he was driving his sister’s friends, who were intoxicated. The boy was found to not be intoxicated and was given a warning for a headlight violation and driving while unlicensed. The boy’s mother responded and took custody of the vehicle and assisted in providing sober transportation for the passengers to their residences.

11:35 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 511 Papst Avenue to check the welfare of Brenda Carver, 70. Officers contacted Carver, who said she was fine and didn’t need assistance.

2:28 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance at 315 Eighth Street. Officers were told that Vivan Cruz, 25, of Orland, was causing a problem and refusing to leave. One of the residents didn’t want Cruz to leave and told her she could stay. Information was provided to the reporting party.

3:40 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 510 Fourth Street for a child custody question. Officers contacted Bridget Reed, 24, who requested information regarding the child custody agreement. She was provided with the information.

3:43 p.m., at 920 A Street, Catalina Wasenius, 58, reported a hit and run collision involving her blue 2010 Subaru.

7:40 p.m., at 315 Eighth Street, Orland police officers contacted Kevin Terwilleger, 57, of Orland. Terwilleger was arrested and booked on a felony no-bail parole warrant.

7:40 p.m., also at 315 Eighth Street, officers were dispatched to a report of a child on a bicycle who had been nearly struck by a vehicle. Officers contacted a 12-year-old boy who reported a female driver in a green Ford F150 nearly struck him while he was riding his bicycle. Officers contacted Vivian Cruz, 25, of Orland, who stated the boy had been harassing her, but she apologized to him for nearly hitting him. Cruz was found to not be under the influence and was counseled on her driving.

8:40 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 208 Plumas Street for a report of loud music. Officers contacted the homeowner, who was told of the complaint and agreed to keep it down.

10:33 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious circumstances at the Sav-Mor market, 35 East Walker Street. Officers contacted the manager, who said that an unknown person who stole a fellow employee’s purse last week was in the store. The person fled the area prior to the officers’ arrival, and officers were unable to locate the person.

10:51 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of an unknown entity flying over the residence at 501 Papst Avenue. Officers checked the area but located nothing suspicious.

Monday, May 3:

7:42 a.m., Maria Lozano, 41, of Orland, reported an unknown person vandalized her green 1995 Honda Accord at 745 Paigewood Drive.

9:10 a.m., Eric Gonzalez, 30, of Orland, reported he was being harrassed by the father of his sister’s children. The incident was documented and Gonzalez was provided with information on obtaining a restraining order.

11:03 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a person causing a disturbance in the Pilot Travel Center, 4444 Commerce Lane. The caller wanted the person admonished for trespassing. Officers checked the area but determined the person had left prior to officers’ arrival.

11:25 a.m., Orland police officers responded to 1033 East Street for a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted Charlie King, 39, and Amanda Darling, 32, both of Orland. Officers determined the two were involved in a verbal dispute and were separating themselves.

11:55 a.m., in the 200 block of Roosevelt Avenue, an Orland police officer issued a parking citation to a silver 2004 Mazda 3 for expired registration.

12:02 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a fight in progress on Second Street at Tehama Street. Officers arrived and contacted Mikayla Waughwayne, 25. Following an investigation, Waughwayne was arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication.

2:29 p.m., Glenda Jimenez McDaniel, 56, of Orland reported somebody vandalized the hood of her black 2015 GMC Terrain in the 1300 block of Brookside Drive.

Tuesday, May 4:

5 p.m., on Eighth Street at Monterey Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a black BMW 430i. Christian Deluca, 22, of Chico, was cited for alleged expired registration and having no proof of registration. Deluca was also served with a notice of suspended license.

10:18 p.m., Orland police officers assisted Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a report of an aggressive male with a knife at the Shady Oaks Trailer Park. Officers assisted until no longer needed.
