8:15 p.m., Mathew Paul Clark, 43, a mechanic who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony robbery, rape with force or violence (a felony), and possession of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor), and a Butte County warrant alleging using or being under the influence of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor). Total bail was set at $203,000. He was taken into custody on County Road N, north of Highway 32, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
8:50 p.m., Tad Gene Harris, 52, a laborer who lives in Corning, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging rape with force or violence, and oral copulation with force or violence (both felonies). Bail was set at $110,000. He was taken into custody at Eighth and Tehama Streets, Orland, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
