Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.

Friday, June 4:

7:54 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 315 Eighth Street to a dispute over money. Officers contacted Lolita Burd, 53, and Eugene Reynolds, 70, both of Orland. The matter was settled by mediation.

8:43 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to East South Street at Papst Avenue for a report of a man walking in the roadway. Officers contacted Steven Stoltenberg, 54, of Orland, and counseled him about walking in the roadway.

8:54 a.m., the Orland Police Department assisted the Glenn County Office of Education in attempting to contact and check the welfare of a third grader who failed to go to school. There was no answer at the door at the Orland Inn, 1052 South Street.

8:55 a.m., on Walker Street at East Street, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a blue 2018 Volvo Semi. Donald Hall Jr, 56, of Red Bluff, was cited for allegedly running a red light and driving out of class.

12:30 p.m., Erika Zamarron, 42, of 310 Kyle Court, Orland reported a window on her 2012 Dodge Durango had been broken.

2:02 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a trailer parked on the roadway for an extended period of time near 341 Bell Way. Officers contacted the owners and they agreed to move the trailer.

7:56 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of two vehicles being driven recklessly in the area of Roosevelt Avenue near East Street. Officers searched the area but the vehicles departed prior to their arrival.

9:32 p.m., Paola Parra, 23, reported she was in an argument with her husband Sergio Parra, 23, and requested a civil standby while she retrieved her personal property at 981 Harryman Drive. Officers provided the standby and informed Paola with options regarding restraining orders.

Saturday, June 5:

3:21 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the Pilot Travel Center, 4444 Commerce Lane, for a report of a person locked in a bathroom stall. Officers arrived and found the person had already exited the stall and left the property.

9:29 a.m., on First Street at Yolo Street, an Orland police officer conducted an enforcement stop on a blue 2001 Chevy truck. Alexis Zargo, 21, of Orland, was cited on charges alleging no insurance, driving on an expired license and not wearing a seatbelt.

11:59 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to Lely Aquatic Park for a child custody dispute. Officers contacted Jessica Raygoza, 31, and Austin Raygoza, 28, both of Orland. Officers mediated the incident.

5 p.m., Lauren Obrien, 18, of Orland, reported an unknown suspect obtained her debit card information and stole a significant amount of money from her account.

6:18 p.m., on South Street at Marin Street, an Orland police officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a silver 2014 Nissan Sentra. Christina Shannon, 26, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign and not having her driver’s license in her possession.

8:01 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a disturbance in the area of 419 Second Street. Officers contacted Carol Kerr, 70, who alleged her grandson, Aaron Potts, 31, was causing a disturbance. Officers counseled Potts, who agreed to separate from Kerr for the night.

10:28 p.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a suspicious subject looking into classroom windows at Mill Street School. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area, and found no evidence of foul play.

Sunday, June 6:

7:03 a.m., Orland police officers responded for a reported alarm sounding at Orland Saw and Mower, 235 East Walker Street. Officers checked the building and found it to be secure.

8:24 a.m., Orland police officers responded to Highway 99 at County Road 7 to assist the CHP at the scene of an injury traffic collision. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

9:44 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a request for a civil standby for child exchange. Officers provided the standby while the child was exchanged without incident.

4:32 p.m., in the area of 103 South Street, Leonardo Tarango, 21, reported he was being harassed by his neighbor, Gail Schermer, 67. Tarango was provided with information on obtaining a restraining order and the incident was documented.

5:59 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of vehicles driving recklessly in the parking lot of Orland High School. Officers checked the area but the vehicles had left prior to the arrival of the officers. Extra patrol was provided.

6:40 p.m. Orland police officers responded to a report of a family disturbance at 1622 Olivewood Drive. Officers contacted Monica Medina, 28, and Helen Medina, 61, both of Orland. Officers mediated the incident and provided a civil standby while Monica gathered her property and left the residence.

7:06 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 116 East Swift Street for a 911 hang-up. Officers were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence, which was quiet on the arrival of officers. Officers did not hear or see any suspicious activity.

8:30 p.m., Orland police officers assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic violence incident that turned into a pursuit. Officers remained on scene on County Road G, south of County Road 9, until no longer needed.

11:32 p.m., Orland police officers assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with a report of suspicious circumstances. Officers remained on the scene in Hamilton City until no longer needed.

Monday, June 7:

4:48 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to check the welfare of Amanda Gomes, 32. Officers contacted Gomes at 238 East Yolo Street. She declined any assistance.
