Here are the latest incident reports from the Orland Police Department.

Sunday, July 4:

3:47 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a sounding burglary alarm at Harris Truck Repair, 1114 Sixth Street. Officers conducted a search of the building and found it to be secure.

9:50 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the police department for a request for a civil standby for a child exchange. Officers provided the standby without incident.

10:31 a.m., Justin Kegley, 37, of Orland, reported someone stole his prescription medication out of his locked truck at Sav-Mor Foods.

12:50 p.m., Zachary Bilich-Pontarolo, 24, reported his red and black 2018 Polaris RZR was stolen from 925 Papst Avenue sometime over the weekend.

6:58 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the report of a white female adult loitering in the parking lot of Grocery Outlet, 1026 South Street, asking people for money. Officers conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the woman.

8:28 p.m.,Eugene Reynolds, 71, reported Vivian Cruz, 25, was causing a disturbance inside the residence at 315 Eighth Street. Officers counseled Cruz on her behavior and parties agreed to separate for the night. Officers provided Reynolds with options regarding the eviction process.

10:02 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to an anonymous report of an intoxicated person running down the street in the 700 block of Monterey Street. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the person.

10:19 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 301 Byron Way for a report of a court order violation. Officers contacted Melonie Perez, 35, who reported the father of her children, Javier Perez, 54, had violated a court order by attempting to contact her via telephone.

10:29 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a verbal disturbance at 81 Rennat Way. Officers contacted Octavio Ramirez Galvez, 38, and Leopoldo Galvez, 45, both of Orland. Officers mediated the situation and the parties agreed to leave each other alone.

Monday, July 5:

12:40 p.m., Orland police officers responded to 6250 County Road 20 to assist Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a reported domestic altercation. Officers provided assistance until no longer needed.

2:44 p.m., at 1220 Walnut Avenue, an Orland police officer issued a parking citation to a silver Toyota Camry and marked it for abatement.

2:45 p.m., at 1220 Walnut Avenue, an Orland police officer issued a parking citation to a white Nissan pickup and marked it for abatement.

3:20 p.m., at 100 East Walker Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a white 2022 Dodge 2500. Alfredo Salazar, 47, of Orland, was cited for allegedly using a cell phone while driving.

3:43 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to 1003 Newport Avenue for a report of a juvenile locked out of her house by her mother. Officers contacted a 13-year-old girl who stated her mother, Maria Venegas, 39, locked her out of the house.

3:48 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at 315 Eighth Street. Officers contacted Lolita Burd, 54, and Vivian Cruz, 25, of Orland. Following an investigation, Cruz was arrested and booked for alleged assault, battery, and resisting arrest.

8:26 p.m., on Linwood Drive at Maplewood Drive, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a grey 2006 BMW X5. Lance Mooney, 51, of Orland, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign.

8:33 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to the Black Butte Mobile Home Park, 6386 County Road 200, for a report that William Hunter, 38, of Orland, was causing a disturbance. Officers contacted Hunter, who was subsequently arrested and booked for alleged public intoxication.

9:12 p.m., on Sixth Street at Walker Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a blue Suzuki DRZ 400 motorcycle. William Bird, 33, of Orland, was arrested and booked for alleged possession of a firearm and trespassing on railroad property.

10:24 p.m., Nicole Smith, 68, reported her landlord at the Orlanda Inn Motel, 827 Newville Road, was not accepting her monthly rent check and Smith requested documentation. Smith was provided with information.

Tuesday, July 6:

12:28 a.m., Orland police officers assisted the Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a report of a domestic violence incident at 6250 County Road 20. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

2:30 a.m., on Sixth Street at Colusa Street, an Orland police officer observed a vehicle towing a trailer with no brake lights. Officers contacted the driver, Charles Burns, 38, who was warned for the violation and issued a notice that his license is suspended.

5 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of a burglary alarm at Lely’s Pump Company, 211 East Walker Street. The response was cancelled prior to the arrival of officers.

9:20 a.m., Robert Rasmussen, 58, of Orland, came into the Orland Police Department to turn over a counterfeit bill. The item will be processed and sent to the U.S. Secret Service.

10:44 a.m., on Linwood Drive at Maplewood Drive, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a silver 2007 Saturn Aura. The driver, Christopher Dunn, 35, of Orland, was cited for allegedly driving with a license suspended for driving while under the influence, failing to stop for a posted stop sign, no proof of insurance, and a misdemeanor Butte County warrant for allegedly driving with a suspended license. The passenger, Tiffany Perry, 35, of Orland, was arrested and booked for alleged possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and a felony Stanislaus County warrant alleging burglary, passing a fictitious check, and forgery.

4:29 p.m., an Orland police officer was dispatched to the police department for a citation sign-off. The party was referred to the CHP.

5:58 p.m., Orland police officers assisted the CHP with a reported suspicious vehicle on County Road 20 near Orland. Officers assisted until no longer needed.

6:25 p.m., on Linwood Drive at Paigewood Drive, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a white 1999 Honda Accord. Jesus Gonzalez-Salas, 46, of Chico, was cited for allegedly failing to stop at a posted stop sign, no insurance, expired registration, and for not having his driver’s license in his possession.

10:30 p.m., on Rennat Way at Monterey Street, an Orland police officer made an enforcement stop on a mini-bike with no headlights. Jerry Allen, 32, of Orland, was cited for allegedly driving without a motorcycle license.

Wednesday, July 7:

1:01 a.m., Orland police officers assisted with a medical call at 574 Lynn Drive until no longer needed.

10:30 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance regarding phone calls. Officers contacted Jason Method, 51, of Orland, who stated someone was using his phone number as a scam number. Information was provided to Method and the incident was documented.

11:04 a.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to a physical disturbance at Les Schwab Tires, 1306 Sixth Street. Officers contacted Dave Campbell, 51, of Willows, and Heather Alvarez, 44, of Willows. After an investigation, Campbell was arrested for alleged felony domestic violence, felony assault by force likely to produce great bodily injury, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Campbell was booked into the Glenn County Jail.

3:20 p.m., Orland police officers were dispatched to contact Aimee Jones, 24, of Orland, regarding harassment. Officers contacted Jones, who stated Crystal Moutter, 25, of Orland, had been calling and harassing her. Jones requested the incident be documented and civil options were provided.

5:47 p.m., Orland police officers responded to a request for a welfare check on a man speaking with a group of children on the Newville Road overpass. Officers contacted four juveniles near Chevron. After an investigation, the children were issued a citation for shoplifting, possession of stolen property and being minors in possession of tobacco products.

9:25 p.m., on Swift Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a gold Acura 3.2TL. The 12-year-old female driver, a resident of Orland, was issued a citation for driving a vehicle without a license and expired registration.

Thursday, July 8:

12:14 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the 500 block of Second Street in Hamilton City to assist Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies with a reported domestic violence incident. Officers provided assistance until no longer needed.

10:35 a.m., Orland police officers responded to a report of harassing phone calls and texts. Officers contacted Lee Prior, 61, of Orland, who alleged that Javier Perez, 54, of Northridge, has been constantly texting him and calling him.

1:40 p.m., on Linwood Drive, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a white 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage. The driver, Rodolfo Guerra-Vidaurri, 71, of Orland, was issued a citation for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign and driving while unlicensed.

1:52 p.m., on Linwood Drive, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a gray 2021 Kia Telluride. The driver, Lindsey Poma, 34, of Orland, was issued a citation for allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign.

2:29 p.m., on Walker Street, an Orland police officer initiated a traffic enforcement stop on a red Chevrolet pickup for a moving violation. The driver, Jayden Powell, 22, of Orland, was issued a citation alleging driving while unlicensed, throwing a cigarette from a vehicle, and no proof of insurance. Powell was issued a verbal notice of suspension.

3:12 p.m., on Newville Road, an Orland police officer observed a woman allegedly urinating in public. Officers contacted Samantha Wright, 20, of Redding, who was cited.

5:34 p.m., Orland police officers contacted Melonie Perez, 35, of 301 Byron Way, regarding a restraining order violation.

10:51 p.m., Orland police officers received a report of a restraining order violation at 301 Byron Way. Upon arrival, it was determined that Javier Perez, 54, of Northridge, allegedly broke into the residence and assaulted a resident. Perez was arrested booked into the Glenn County Jail.

Friday, July 9:

5:51 a.m., Orland police officers responded to the report of a 911 hang-up in the 600 block of East Walker Street. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any emergencies or suspicious activity.
