Outbuilding and fence burn at Orland home

At about 2:48 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, Orland firefighters responded to a report of a fire to a fence and outbuilding behind a home on Woodward Avenue.

The house was located at the southwest corner of Woodward Avenue and East Mill Street.

The house itself was not damaged.

According to Orland Fire Chief Justin Chaney, speaking at the scene of the fire just after it had been extinguished, the cause of the fire was unknown.
