Friday, Oct. 8:
1:26 p.m., William James Hunter, 39, a landscaper who lives in Orland, was remanded by the court to the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony vandalism. Bail was set at $10,000.
Saturday, Oct. 9:
1:26 a.m., Allen Russell Taipale, 34, a carpenter who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging public intoxication (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at zero. He was taken into custody on East Walker Street at Woodward Avenue by an Orland police officer.
7:07 p.m., Phillip Monroe Pedro III, 43, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging disobeying a lawful order of the court (a felony). At 11:34 p.m., he was also found to have a Butte County warrant alleging theft of personal identification information (a felony). Bail for the first warrant was set at $25,000, while the Butte County warrant was a no-bail warrant. He was taken into custody at Stony Creek, north of Orland, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
7:48 p.m., Heather Nicole Matney, 27, a laborer who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging giving false identification to a peace officer (a misdemeanor), and arson of an inhabited structure or property (a felony). Bail was set at $200,000. She was taken into custody at the Shady Oaks Trailer Park, 4582 Highway 99, sp. #19, Orland, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
11:08 p.m., Curtis Caroll Hart, 54, a cashier who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. Bail was set at $34,000. He was taken into custody at Walker and Eighth Streets by an Orland police officer.
Sunday, Oct. 10:
12:44 p.m., at the Glenn County Jail, Jose Pablo Hernandez, 31, a sales representative who lives in Chico, was found to have a warrant alleging oral copulation of a minor under 14 years of age (a felony). Bail was set at $40,000.
5:33 p.m., Eduardo Alonzo, Villarreal, 38, a building inspector who lives in Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging battery on a non-cohabitating former spouse (a misdemeanor). Bail was set at $5,000. He was taken into custody at 271 Gable Drive by an Orland police officer.
