Black Butte Lake? Try Black Butte Pond

Water levels at Black Butte Lake are so low you could almost walk across it. Following are some photos taken at the lake on Tuesday. All Glenn County Observer photos by Larry Judkins.

This boat launch doesn’t quite reach the water.
Normally, the foreground shown is under water.
In some summers, this area has been a popular swimming area.
