Here is a list of the bookings into the Glenn County Jail, with information provided by jail personnel, the Orland police log, the Glenn County Sheriff’s log, and the Glenn County District Attorney’s Office. Remember: Everyone accused of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Monday, November 4:
4:38 p.m., Zane Andrew Kaufman, 27, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging giving false identification to a peace officer, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia (both misdemeanors). Bail was set at $0. He was taken into custody at 711 Sixth Street by an Orland police officer.
According to the Orland Police Department’s log, at about 4:14 p.m. on November 4, an Orland police officer contacted Zane Kaufman, 27, of Orland, at the AutoZone, 711 Sixth Street. Following an investigation, Kaufman was arrested and booked for allegedly providing a false ID to police and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tuesday, November 5:
7:33 a.m., Starryne Crystal Lefdal, 45, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging oral copulation with a person under the age of 18 (a felony). Bail was set at $10,000. She was taken into custody at 411 First Street by an Orland police officer.
The Orland Police Department log says only that at 7:19 a.m. on November 5, Orland police officers “contacted Starryne Lefdal, 45, of Orland. She was arrested and booked for a felony Glenn County warrant.”
9 a.m., Littleflower Stevens, 40, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail without bail on a warrant alleging violation of post-release community supervision (a felony). She was taken into custody at the Glenn County Probation Department by a probation officer.
9:45 a.m., Vadim Sergeyevich Petriakov, 35, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a felony charge. Bail was set at $30,000. He was taken into custody at the Butte County Jail by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
According to the Glenn County Sheriff’s log for August 15, 2021, deputies responded to the Walmart parking lot in Willows for a report of a stolen vehicle being there with two occupants inside. Glenn County dispatchers said the stolen vehicle was a Nissan Sentra with an Oregon license plate.
Upon arrival, deputies found Jessica Napier of Redding in the driver seat and Vadim Petriakov, also of Redding, in the front passenger seat. Napier and Petriakov were escorted out of the vehicle and detained in handcuffs.
After on-scene investigation and subsequent search of the vehicle, deputies found suspected methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl. Deputies spoke with Napier and Petriakov, who stated the substances found were methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Napier and Petriakov both claimed ownership of the suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl. Napier and Petriakov were placed under arrest and booked into the Glenn County Jail for being in possession of stolen property and drug charges.
On April 1, 2022, the Glenn County District Attorney’s Office reported that Petriakov was convicted of possession of a stolen vehicle (a felony). He was sentenced to 125 days in jail, drug court, and two years’ probation.
11:15 a.m., Eduardo Jesus Lupercio, 40, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a court remand alleging violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence (a misdemeanor). He was taken into custody at the Glenn County Superior Court, 526 West Sycamore Street, Willows. At 2:13 p.m., at the Glenn County Jail, he was arrested on a warrant also alleging violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence (a misdemeanor). At 2:20 p.m., still at the jail, he was arrested on a court remand again alleging violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence (a misdemeanor). And, at 2:24 p.m., at the jail, he was once more arrested on a court remand alleging violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence (a misdemeanor). Total bail was set at $20,000. He was taken into custody by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
2:28 p.m., Christopher Michael Willard Nunn, 36, of Corning, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging felony violation of probation. Bail was set at $20,000. He was taken into custody at the Glenn County Probation Department by a probation officer.
7:04 p.m., Jose Anthony Hernandez, 21, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on warrants alleging failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge, and misdemeanor violation of probation. Total bail was set at $30,000. He was taken into custody at Eighth and Colusa Streets by an Orland police officer.
According to the Orland Police Department’s log, at 7:02 p.m. on November 5, at Eighth and Colusa Streets, an Orland police officer contacted Jose Hernandez, 21, of Orland. He was arrested and booked for two misdemeanor Glenn County warrants.
Wednesday, November 6:
2 p.m., Gregg Alan Farlinger, 56, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a court remand with charges alleging felony violation of probation. Bail was set at $20,000. He was taken into custody at the Glenn County Superior Court, 526 West Sycamore Street, Willows, by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
3:15 p.m., Manuel Eugene Rodriguez, 29, of Ukiah, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a felony charge. Bail was set at $50,000, but he was also held without bail on a California Department of Corrections detainer. He was taken into custody at Folsom State Prison by a Glenn County Sheriff’s deputy.
9:08 p.m., Joshua Lewis Abanathie, 22, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. Bail was set at $25,000. She was taken into custody at Tehama and Ninth Streets by an Orland police officer.
According to the Orland Police Department’s log, at about 9:08 p.m. on November 6, an Orland police officer contacted Joshua Abanathie, 22, of Orland, on Tehama Street at Ninth Street. He was arrested and booked for a misdemeanor Glenn County warrant.
9:30 p.m., Jose Luis Garibay, 44, of Orland, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with a license suspended for driving while under the influence, and disobeying a court order (all misdemeanors). Bail was set at $15,000. He was taken into custody at East Walker Street and Woodward Avenue by an Orland police officer.
According to the Orland police logs, at about 9:16 p.m. on November 6, at Discount Liquors, 160 East Walker Street, Orland police officers were dispatched to a report of a male driving while under the influence. Officers contacted Jose Garibay, 44, of Orland.
Following an investigation, Garibay was arrested and booked for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with a license suspended or revoked license for driving while under the influence, violation of court probation, and driving while on DUI probation.
11:46 p.m., Megan Christine Noah, 41, of Lafayette, was booked into the Glenn County Jail on charges alleging driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, and driving while under the influence of alcohol (both misdemeanors). Bail was set at $10,000. She was taken into custody on County Road 48, west of Interstate 5, by a California Highway Patrol officer.
Thursday, November 7:
No one was booked into the Glenn County Jail on this date.
