Very early one morning some weeks ago, the following exchange during a field interrogation – or something very similar to this exchange – was heard on police scanners here in Glenn County.
Law Enforcement Officer: Subject’s date of birth is 35th of December, 1961.
Sheriff’s Dispatcher: Confirming date of birth is 25th of December, 1961?
Officer: Negative. 35th of December, 1961.
Dispatcher: December has only 31 days.
Officer: That must be it …
Like I said: It was very early in the morning.
