At about 2 p.m. on Monday, March 6, firefighters were dispatched to a report of a commercial structure fire in Orland.
Initial reports indicated the fire was at an address on Fifth Street.
In reality, it was at 517 Sixth Street, CR&G Auto Sales, located at the southeast corner of Sixth and Tehama Streets.
Upon arrival, Orland firefighters were unable to find a hydrant.
A call went out for water tenders.
The Artois Fire Department was also called to provide mutual aid.
It didn’t take long for the fire to be completely extinguished.
