Another crash at P and 32

If Highway 32 and County Road P isn’t the most accident-prone intersection in Glenn County, what is?

At about 6:12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, emergency responders began heading to yet another collision at the intersection in question.

Details regarding how the accident occurred are currently unknown.

What little information that is known comes from police scanner chatter and the CHP traffic incident website.

According to the CHP’s traffic website, the vehicles involved were a Lexis and an Amazon Dodge delivery van.

On the scanner, the Corning fire dispatcher cancelled the response of the Orland Fire Department, saying that the incident was a non-injury accident.

Last month, Caltrans announced that $520,000 in State Highway Operations and Protection Program funds had been allocated for a traffic signal at Highway 32 and Road P.
